Speaker 1:

This beautiful day, I want to tell you that God loves you anditionally. Man's love is unconditional, hallelujah. And the Bible says in the book of Zephaniah, 3.17, that he will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing, oh hallelujah, he will quiet you with His love. That's beautiful. God loves you. And this is for somebody here on this platform this day, somebody who's listening to this God loves you.

Speaker 1:

And the Bible says in john 3, 16 and most of you know this passage of scripture saying that for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Oh, god gave his best for us. John 3 16 says he gave, he gave his best for us, and that to not just to come down onto this planet and onto earth and to take a pinprick for us or to walk on coals for a few seconds for us, or to take a few lashes for us. No, no, no. He gave his son to die an excruciatingly painful death on a cross for you and me. Oh, that's how much he loves you. For God so loved the world, you and me and everyone, that he gave his only son to die on a cross for you and me. And I want to tell you, when Jesus was on this planet, he took lashes on a cross for you and me. And I want to tell you, when Jesus was on this planet, he took lashes on his back for you and me and he was flogged for you and me. He took a crown of thorns on his head. He took humiliation for you and me by being struck on his head with a reed and by being spat upon and then, after all that, he willingly got on a cross for you and me. What kind of love is that? That's the next level of love. And please, no, don't think that Jesus didn't knew this was going to happen. Of course he knew this was going to happen and he willingly, knowingly, out of love, took it up for you and me.

Speaker 1:

And I want to tell you what the Bible says in the book of Romans, the fifth chapter, the seventh verse onwards for scarcely for a righteous man will one die, and listen to this For scarcely will a righteous man will one die. Yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love towards us In that, while we were still sinners, christ died for us. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Go ahead and read it. I'm not reading it again for you, but it's from the Bible Romans 5, 7, 8. It says enough. And I'm here this morning to tell you that Jesus loves you, and that is a very, very, very deep love. To take all of this just for you and me. And this morning I am here to tell someone that know that God loves you and others might have abandoned you at the time when you needed them the most, or you think you are at your lowest, but God loves you and Jesus loves you. Oh, he loves you.

Speaker 1:

And today I want to leave you with a secret. I want to tell you God tried many, many ways to reach out and save us. He spoke at various times through multiple prophets. He spoke through visions. He was in a burning bush. He sent down his angels from heaven and he spoke through them when he took the Israelites out of slavery, out of Egypt, his people. He was in a pillow of cloud through the day and a pillow of fire through the night. He spoke in a still small voice. But after all that, after all that and so much more, believe. These are just a few examples I have given you of how God tried to reach out to humankind, to mankind. And after all that, one final thing. He decided to do one final thing, and I want to tell you what that is. That's an act of love, one final thing and save all of mankind through it. An act of love where Jesus came down on this planet and took up the cross for you and me. John 3.16, for God so loved the world, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And here's the secret that I want to leave you with today and make note, because it is a secret, and it is from the book of Corinthians. And Corinthians is written by the Apostle Paul to the church at Corinth at that time. And let me even tell you something before I get into this book, that the Bible records in the book of Acts, and I'm reading to you verbatim it says God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even his handkerchiefs and aprons that were bought from the body of Paul and were given to the sick and the diseases left them and evil spirits went out of them. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, wow, can you imagine that? That Paul didn't? We need to be present there. They could have taken, just take his handkerchief and given it on to someone.

Speaker 1:

And the Bible says the diseases left them and evil spirits left them. Oh, hallelujah. So Paul knew something? Oh, he knew something for sure, and the secret comes From the 13th chapter in the book of Corinthians and a verse in the Bible that is titled the greatest gift. And here Paul is giving his secret to the people at Corinth, and that's the church that he set up. And 1 Corinthians 13, 13 says and now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love. No, hallelujah. And now abide faith, hope, love, love these three, but the greatest of these is love. And here is Paul talking to the church at Corinth about three pillars, that everything rests on Faith, hope and love. And he is telling them the greatest of this, the greatest of them, is love. Oh, hallelujah, I already told you before this that the handkerchiefs and aprons of Paul used to heal people. Oh, you can only imagine what kind of love he must have walked in.

Speaker 1:

Then he goes on to say in the very same chapter, the 8th verse and listen to this, and listen to this. Love never fails. Oh, hallelujah, doesn't that say enough. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail. Whether there are tongues, they will cease. Whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. Oh hallelujah, prophecies will fail, tongues will cease, knowledge will will disappear, but love never fails. Oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, love never fails.

Speaker 1:

1 John, 4 verse says Beloved, beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. And he who does not love does not know God, for God is love. Oh hallelujah, god is love. Oh hallelujah, god is love.

Speaker 1:

Basically, what this passage of scripture is saying is if you know Jesus, you ought to know love. It's as plain, as simple. According to this scripture, if you know Jesus, you ought to know love, because God is love. And then it goes on to say in the 9th and the 10th verse in this the love of God was manifested towards us, that God sent his only begotten son into the world that we might live through him. And this is love. Not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son To be the propitiation for our sins. Oh hallelujah. So you see, god loved us first. It's not that we loved him. See, god loved us first. It's not that we loved Him. He loved us first and that's why he sent His Son for you and me, and that's His manifestation of His love for you and me.

Speaker 1:

And listen to this last part 1 John 4.11 says Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Oh hallelujah, beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Oh hallelujah, I want to. You know what. We've all been hurt some time or the other by some person, by someone.

Speaker 1:

But the important thing to walk away with today after listening to this word, is forgive and love them. Oh, that doesn't mean that you need to invite them over for a meal. You want to do that. That's fabulous, that's on you. But I want to leave you with this, because when you know God, god is love and you are love. So rather, you just forgive them and move on and release them out of your heart in God's love.

Speaker 1:

Don't hold on to that thing that they did to you. I don't know how many years ago I wouldn't even want to go there, but things have changed after what Jesus did on that cross for you and me. It was an act of love, an ultimate act of love. And now, today, after you know him, you are love. So let them go and love everyone around you. But that doesn't mean you get out of the door today and hug every second person you meet on the street. That's not what I'm trying to say, but you know what I mean. Walk in love or love everyone around you, then you are the representatives of the most high. Oh, you are anyway the child of the most high, and this is the true form of being the representative of the most high. Oh, believe me, you will see things change when you operate in love. Oh, you will see things change.

Speaker 1:

And I'm telling you this morning if you think there is some dead situation which just does not seem to be moving in any direction, just bring love into it, because you tried. Faith, faith led to hope, but that pillar, love. It never fails. Bring love into the situation. I don't know how you are going to do it, I do not know your situation, but believe me, through the word of God today, bring love into it, because love never fails. God knew it. God tried for centuries and millions and millions of years to reach out to mankind through so many mediums, and it just one final act of love changed history, because history is his story and his story was nothing else but an act of love, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And I want to tell you this morning, in case you are not sure, don't go by a worldly definition of love. I will tell you what love is and you can go back and meditate on this in your own time 1 Corinthians 13, from the 4th verse onwards until the 7th verse, and I will tell you what love is. Love suffers long and is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not parade itself, it is not puffed up, it does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, it thinks no, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, love believes all things, love hopes all things, love endures all things and beautiful, beautiful people of the Most High. This morning, I want to tell you love never fails. As aligned with the word of God, love never fails, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

Dear Lord, I thank you for your beautiful word. Lord, I thank you for your double-edged sword, your word that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. Lord, I thank you for releasing this word this beautiful morning, this beautiful day. I thank you for the love that you're filling in people's hearts. I thank you for the love that you're filling in people's homes. Lord, I thank you for the love that you're bringing into situations, because it never fails and you will turn the situation around once your love is there, lord. Thank you, lord, for this beautiful, beautiful time In Jesus' name. Once your love is there, lord. Thank you, lord, for this beautiful, beautiful time. In Jesus name, I pray Amen.
