Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. I am excited for today's word and I am going to get right into it In the book of Chronicles. I'm reading from the book of Chronicles 2, chronicles 16, chapter 9, verse. And it says For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him. Hallelujah, 2nd Chronicles, 16.9. Says For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him. Oh, this passage of scripture is so deep and so beautiful at the same time. And let me explain to you what the scripture means. God is looking, he's searching the earth. The Bible says to and fro to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him. To show himself strong, hallelujah. And I want to tell you today, if you are going through something Today, this word is for you.

Speaker 1:

In any avenue of life, any area of your life, you think you are being stretched and pulled from one end to the other. This is for you and you don't know why this thorn has been lingering with you for so long. This is for you, and let me explain this to you through a story from the bible this beautiful day and this beautiful morning, and I'm reading to you from the word of God there is a man in the land of Uz and the Bible says that man was blameless and upright and one who feared God and shunned evil, whose name was Job. So the Bible, in the book of Job, introduces Job as a man who is blameless and upright and somebody who feared God and shunned evil. And the Bible goes on to talk about his family and that he had seven sons and three daughters. And the Bible also mentions the large amount of cattle that he had livestock, you know, in those days that was the form of wealth. And it talks about the oxen and the camels and the sheep and the donkeys that he had. And the Bible even says he had a very large household, so much that the Bible says he was the greatest of all the people of the East. Wow, the Bible documents Job as one of the greatest of all the people in the East. Blameless and upright, who feared God and shunned evil was Job. And the Bible also says he offered burnt offerings to God, rising early in the mornings at appointed times, and Job was blessed. That's just the beginning of what, who Job is and what his family was about and how much he had.

Speaker 1:

And now comes the interesting part he had. And now comes the interesting part and I want to tell you. The Bible says that there was a day when the sons and you have to listen to this, this is fabulous the Bible says that there's a day when the sons of God come to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. Oh, hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Satan is in the line, reporting to God, giving his roll call, if that's what you want to call it. Oh, don't miss it. Hallelujah, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And listen to what happens next. And I'm reading to you directly from the word of God, from the book of Job, the first chapter, the seventh verse. And the Lord said to Satan from where do you come? And he answered the Lord and said from going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it. The Lord takes an accounting of Satan and he has to report to God. Don't miss it. Oh, hallelujah, oh hallelujah, oh. I just love this. And of course he would have to. He's a defeated foe, he's done, hallelujah, I'm going ahead.

Speaker 1:

And the eighth verse says. And then the Lord said to Satan and you pay attention to this this morning I told you who this is for. This is for you, and I don't even know what you might be going through, or whatever it is. Maybe it's for everyone who's hearing this today. And then the Lord said to Satan have you considered my servant Job? That there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil. Have you considered my servant Job? So Satan answered the Lord and said Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not made a hedge of protection around him, around his household and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands and his possessions have increased in the land, but now stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.

Speaker 1:

Oh, the accuser is standing in front of God and he's accusing Job, and there's a challenge on the table now. Oh, there's a duel going on now, and those of you who have vivid imaginations can picture this, can't you? He's taunting God. And then the Lord said to Satan and listen to this. This behold, all that he has is in your power. Only do not lay a hand on his person. And the Bible says so.

Speaker 1:

Satan went out from the presence of the Lord. That's just a glimpse and so deep and so beautiful of how Jesus, how Satan, has to report to God. And then there's a challenge on the table. He just asked him where have you come from? And he says going to and fro. And he says have you considered my servant, job? God brought up Job's name. The other guy doesn't even say anything, he just says I've been going to and fro back and forth and God brings up Job's name.

Speaker 1:

And let me tell you what happens now with Job. Behold all that he has is in your power. Only do not lay a hand on his person. And I told you earlier, job would make an offering right, I said that. And he would make a burnt offering to God at an appointed time. And I'll tell you what that time was. There was a time when Job's children would meet together and all the brothers would host each other in their own homes along with their sisters. Yeah, that means each brother had his own home, mansion, call it what you want. And seven of them hosted each other at different times. And it is after that, that and the Bible clearly says that these two feast and drink. And the Bible said this is after that the job would wake up early in the morning and go and make an offering to God. Well, in other words, they were partying and after that their father is making an offering to God, saying, in case, by any chance, if they've done anything wrong or even taught anything wrong in their heart towards you, o Lord, accept my offering on my children's behalf, oh, hallelujah. And let me tell you what happens next. Tell you what happens next. It's that time where the brothers host their sisters and each other and they party and they feast and they drink.

Speaker 1:

And it's that time of the year, or the month again, and the bible says a messenger comes to job to tell him that he was in the field when someone raided them and took away all the oxen and all the donkeys and killed all the servants, and he was the only one who escaped. And he has come to tell Job about it. And the Bible says, while he was speaking oh, you have to listen to this while he was speaking, another comes in and says the fire of God fell upon them and burnt the sheep and the servants and he alone escaped to tell job about it. And while he was still speaking, another one came in to report that a surrounding clan formed a group and raided the camels and killed the servants, and he alone has escaped to tell Job. And while he was still speaking, another comes in and says your sons and daughters were feasting and suddenly a great wind came and struck the house and it fell on the young people and they are all dead and I alone have escaped to tell you. Oh wow, in a split of a second, oh wow, in a split of a second, calamity strikes Job and Job loses everything.

Speaker 1:

You have to read the story of Job in the beginning. It's just while one was speaking, the other one comes in and announces the next calamity while he's yet finishing. The next one comes in and announces the next calamity and from being a rich man to everything that he had is all gone. It's all gone, including his children, seven sons and three daughters. Job loses everything.

Speaker 1:

And the Bible says Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and he fell to the ground, worshipping what he fell to the ground, worshipping what he fell to the ground, worshipping. And you listen to this, you beautiful people of the Most High. And he said naked I come from my mother's womb and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. And the Bible says, in all all of this, job did not sin, nor charge God with wrong. It's the 22nd and 22nd, 21st and the 22nd verse. Oh, naked have I come and naked shall I return? The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. What Job has lost? Everything, including his children, his wealth, his, his cattle. He has lost everything. And he tears his robe, he shaves his head and he says Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Speaker 1:

And I want to tell you there's a part two where Satan goes back and is reporting again to God and this time he says now God is boasting in Job, saying see, I told you, he didn't curse me, I told you. And then Satan turns around and says now God is boasting in Job, saying see, I told you he didn't curse me, I told you. And then Satan turns around and says but you know what? You didn't let me touch him. I took away everything from him. Let me touch him. And God says you can go ahead, but you don't have his life. But you don't have his life. And the Bible goes on to say that Satan puts boils from the top of the head to the sole of his feet on Job's body. And yet, as the Bible says, job does not sin, nor charge God with wrong, while this Job guy was something else. Nor charge God with wrong. Wow, this Job guy was something else. And I want to tell you this morning, and this is what I'm here to tell you today, and listen to this.

Speaker 1:

The book of Chronicles says Satan goes to and fro on the earth, walking back and forth, and the book of Job says I'm sorry. The book of Chronicles says God's eyes are running to and fro all over the earth to show himself strong. I apologize, the book of Chronicles God's eyes are running to and fro all over the earth to show himself wrong. And the book of Job says Satan is going to and fro on the earth, walking back and forth. Oh, don't miss it, oh, don't miss it. And then there's a challenge put on the table, and I'm reading it to you again from the Word of God, 2nd Chronicles, 16 9, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him.

Speaker 1:

Oh, he knew Job would not cease worshipping him. He knew Job would not say anything against him. In fact, there is a time when Job's wife turns to him, when he's lost everything and he's got his sores on his body. His wife turns to him. He's actually still sitting in the ashes of his children and calamity is still hitting him and his wife tells him curse God and die. But you know what? Job does not waver. He does not waver. He does not waver. He stands strong. The Lord has given, the Lord has taken. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Oh hallelujah, remember.

Speaker 1:

This morning I want to tell you this and bring this to your attention God does not bring calamity to you. He does not. No, no, he does not. Which father brings calamity onto his child? So don't be mistaken or misled by what the world might tell you or what your friend might tell you, because let me just tell you, from the second chapter of job, all the way till the last chapter of job, he just has three friends who come with him and they just keep at it, and I'm not getting into that because they keep talking about how his situation is so bad. And where is God in all this? That's all that they're doing, and you know what he wavers not. So I want to tell you again this morning do not be misled. God does not bring calamity to you. In fact, this is what I want to tell you this morning he vouches for you, for he knows that you will stand strong in him. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

Psalm 66, 10, says you have refined us, as silver is refined. He is refining you, he is making you strong. He has searched, as the book of Chronicles says. He has searched the earth to and fro and he has found you to show himself strong. Oh hallelujah, have you considered him? Have you considered her? Oh hallelujah, I'm sorry, I'm not the one who's written it, I'm just the one who's telling you the way it is written. Have you considered my servant, job? The book of Proverbs says the refining pot is for silver and the furnace is for gold. But the Lord tests the hearts. Oh hallelujah, oh, that guy who lies and destroys. He just goes back and forth looking. Oh, and God is also going back and forth looking, and I want to tell you this morning whatever your situation.

Speaker 1:

I want to tell you oh, god knew Job. God knows you. He has nominated you Because he knows you will stand strong. He knows he can show himself strong in you. Oh, hallelujah, and you will get this. This beautiful morning, through the word of God, you get it in your spirit. Stand firm in Jesus, stand firm in Yeshua, who you will see the salvation of the Lord, because he has searched you out. Hallelujah, and in case you did not know what was the end of job story, let me just tell you what happened. Let me tell you what happened.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says that the Lord restored the latter days of job more than the beginning. Hallelujah, the Lord restored the latter days of job more than his beginning. Oh, hallelujah. And let me tell you something the bible does not talk about the timeline. No, it does not. It does not talk about when it happened. It's all in god's time and job knew it.

Speaker 1:

I've come naked. Have I come from my mother's womb naked? Shall I go? The lord has given, the Lord has taken and blessed. Be the name of the Lord, wow, hallelujah. And the Bible says God restored everything back to Job, twice as much as what he had before. And it calls out the sheep, it calls out the oxen, it calls out the camels by count and wait for it. He was a wealthy man, the Bible says, and he had seven sons and three daughters, and the Bible even says that there was none as pretty as Job's daughters in the land, in the whole land, and wait for it. He had grandchildren of four generations and he died at 140 years, full of years and a wealthy man. Oh, hallelujah. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Speaker 1:

God knew the heart of Job, he knows your heart and if you think you are in that situation, you know what.

Speaker 1:

He knows that you will pull through and he knows that you will stand strong in his name.

Speaker 1:

He has picked you out, going to and fro from the earth, looking out for someone like you that he may show himself strong to that guy who comes to accuse, who stands in the line every morning reporting. He's nominated you, hallelujah. And I leave you with this scripture from the book of John, the 16th chapter, the 33rd verse these things I have spoken to you, jesus' beautiful words when he was on this planet, hallelujah, these things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace In the world. You will have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.

Speaker 1:

Oh hallelujah, oh, dear Lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you for this beautiful day, oh hallelujah, oh, dear Lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you for this beautiful day. Oh Lord, I thank you for your wonderful presence that's on this platform. I thank you for your wonderful presence to everyone that's hearing this and is going to hear it. Lord, lord, I thank you that you know us from our mother's womb. You have formed us. You know us by our name, lord, our names are carved on the palm of your hand and I thank you, lord, that you have searched the earth to and fro and found us to show yourself strong in us.

Speaker 1:

Lord, oh hallelujah. Thank you, lord, for your beautiful word. Thank you for your faithfulness, lord. Oh, we are faithless, but you remain faithful, lord, and I thank you, lord, for it. We leave everything at your feet, lord. We leave everything at your feet this morning and whatever people are going through, lord, I thank you. I thank you. Whatever the tribulation might be, you have overcome it and they are more than conquerors in you. We are all more than conquerors in you. Whatever the tribulation might be. You have overcome it, and they are more than conquerors in you. We are all more than conquerors in you. Oh hallelujah, thank you, lord. In Jesus' name, I pray Amen.
