Speaker 1:

This beautiful day, I want to give you a glimpse, a glimpse of who Jesus is. And today I want to break all shackles for you, in case you have decided to put Jesus in a box, or you have decided to put God in a box, or you think he has limits, or maybe, based on things that are happening in your life, you think this is only this much that God can do, and then, beyond this, he can't. I'm here to break that today, hallelujah. And he has. I want to tell you he has no limits. Jesus has no limits to what he can do. And I want to tell you that Jesus said this while he was on the planet, when his time was almost up and he knew his fate. He knew it was new and he was being criticized by the crowds and the chief priests and the Pharisees, and he said to them from the book of Luke, the 22nd chapter, the 69th verse, chapter 69th verse but from now on, the Son of man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God, hallelujah. And he's being criticized by the crowds and he's being condemned by the crowds for being called a liar. Now he calls himself the son of God and to that his response is but from now on, the son of man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God, and the Bible says then they asked him are you the son of God? Then, and Jesus said yes, I am. Oh, and that's all that. They were waiting for just that one sentence, so that they could call it the blasphemous sentence. Oh, how can he call himself the son of God? He's a man. Are you the son of God? Then they asked him, and he said yes, I am. And then they asked him and he said yes, I am. And then they condemned him to hang on a cross. And I want to tell you this morning they flogged him, they beat him, they put a crown of thorns on his head, they hit him on his head with a reed, they spat on him and, after all that humiliation, they nailed him to a cross and he gave up his life on a cross. And again, with a loud voice, he cried out Eloi Eloi Lama Sabag Thani or Eli Eli Lama Sabag Thani, which is translated my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Oh, while he was hanging on that cross, he cried out with a loud voice oh, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Even God probably turned his face from looking onto Jesus at that time.

Speaker 1:

The sin of the planet, on his son hanging on a cross, bleeding from every part of his body, bruised, humiliated. Which father would want to see that? Yet Jesus has said to you and me in Hebrews 13 5 I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. But at that cross, at his lowest point, oh, he was all alone. Even his father probably couldn't look upon him. My god, my god, why have you forsaken me?

Speaker 1:

And then the Bible says with a loud voice he cried out and he breathed his last. That's so sad. The creator of heaven and earth has come down to this planet and he's spat upon, he's beaten and he's nailed on a cross. And then, at his lowest point, he feels all alone. And then he gives up his life. And the bible goes on to say they wrap him in clean linen clothes, in a I'm sorry, they wrap him in a clean linen cloth and they put him in a tomb.

Speaker 1:

And these very same people who condemned him to the cross, they, the chief priests and the and they put him in a tomb. And these very same people who condemned him to the cross the chief priests and the Pharisees. The Bible calls them out very specifically. They ask for a guard to be placed outside the tomb and that the tomb be made secure, lest his disciples come and steal the body and then try to prove what Jesus was saying about himself, that after three days I will rise. You see, they took everything as a mock, they mocked everything he said. So they insist that they have a guard there and they insist that the tomb is sealed off so that nobody can come and steal his body. You see, then they'll turn around and say See, see, we told you he'll rise, but, as per Jesus' words, after three days I will rise. So Pontius Pilate gives them a guard and tells them you make the tomb secure as you please.

Speaker 1:

And on the third day oh yeah, on the third day, as he said he would, he rose from the dead and he was no longer in the tomb, hallelujah. And he met his disciples at a mountain that he had appointed for them. And I want to tell you this is the first thing that he said to them when they see him in resurrected form for the first time, they see him dying on a cross, they see him wrapped in linen, they see him put into a tomb and after that they see him in this form, alive, risen, and he says to them All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth, oh, hallelujah. All authority has been given to Jesus. All authority, oh, hallelujah. Given to Jesus. All authority, oh Hallelujah. You have to understand that. That is the first thing that he tells his disciples when they see him in resurrected form. All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth, oh, hallelujah. Oh, you have to understand this at the next level. You know when the Bible says meditate on my word, oh, meditate on the statement All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Nothing that happens on this planet today Is without Jesus consent or his approval or his knowledge. Understand that this morning. Nothing, because all authority, hallelujah, has been given to him.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, ephesians 1, 9, 19 says and what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards us who believe according to the working of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places and wait for it, far above all, principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not in this age but in that which is to come. Oh, hallelujah. It's Ephesians 1, 19 to 21. You go and read it in your time and you go and meditate on it. Oh hallelujah, listen people. Jesus, far above all, principalities, all power, might, dominion, title, name, entity, unified bodies you call it what you want Today, tomorrow, yesterday and forevermore bodies. You call it what you want Today, tomorrow, yesterday and forever more. And he is seated at the right hand of God. Oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah. Jesus, the name above all names. Jesus, far above, far above. The Bible says oh hallelujah, principalities and powers and might and Dominion and any name that is ever named hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And now I want to take you to one of the most powerful books in the bible, the book of revelations, where heaven was shown to the prophet john. And I'm going directly into it, revelations 5 1. And I saw and listen to this. And I saw in the right hand of him, who sat on the throne, a scroll open your hearts this morning and understand this. God's spirit will fill you up. And I saw in the right hand of him, who sat on the throne, a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Don't get into the logic of it this morning. Understand it in your spirit. And I saw, in the right hand of him, who sat on the throne, a scroll written inside and out and on the back sealed with seven seals. Wow, heaven in all its glory shown to John. And he sees the throne of God and what he is holding in his right hand.

Speaker 1:

And the next verse says and then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice who is worthy to open the scroll and loose its seals. So John sees a strong angel. I won't, I won't get into what is the meaning of a strong angel, but he must have been really mighty, powerful, big, a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice who is worthy to open the scroll and loose its seals. And the Bible says and no one, and no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth, was able to open the scroll or to look at it. No one on earth, in heaven or even under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look at it. And the Bible says in Revelation 5.4,.

Speaker 1:

John begins to weep. I am not getting into what that scroll is, but he, he begins to weep. The Bible says so. I wept much. That means he must have been bitterly crying. Like what? Is there no one to open the scroll on all the possible realms that we know? Because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll or to even look at it. So I wept much.

Speaker 1:

Revelation 5.4 says, and then wait and listen to what Revelation 5.5 says. But one of the elders said to me do not weep. Said to me, do not weep. Behold the lion of the tribe of Judah. The lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and loose its seven seals. Oh, hallelujah, oh, do not weep, john, don't weep, don't worry. Behold the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David has prevailed to open the scroll and loose its seven seals. Our Jesus has prevailed. Oh, hallelujah, jesus has prevailed, oh, hallelujah, jesus has prevailed. There is nothing that is above him, nothing. There is nothing on on the realms that you even can imagine that is above him, nothing. And I want to give you this morning a true glimpse of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the one who has conquered the grave, the one who has the keys to Hades and death, the victorious one, the name that's above all names. And you know, in my life, in school, and you know places that I visited, I've seen these paintings of Jesus and you know that that tends to be what you think of him, as that I visited. I've seen these paintings of Jesus and you know that that that tends to be what you think of him, as somebody with a lamb around his neck. Oh, but I'll tell you what he is and who he is and what he looks like, and you understand this this morning, as I said in your spirit. Revelations 1, 13 to 15 says and in the midst of the seven lampstands, one like the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with the golden band, his head, his head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes like the flame of fire, his feet like fine brass as it is refined in a furnace, and his voice, oh, his beautiful voice, is the sound of many waters, and that's Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Revelation 22 13 says I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end, oh, hallelujah. Or some of you can feel God's presence in your room, some of you can feel the heat on your right hand side. Oh, hallelujah, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end, the one worthy to open the scroll and loose its seven seals, the one who is at your right hand and far above anything that you know this morning power, authority, dominion, title, people, names, countries, armies, far above. And I want to leave you with this passage of Scripture this beautiful morning, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Hallelujah. Oh, don't put God in a box this morning. Oh, don't look at him as that person who has that lamb around his neck. Jesus is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Saviour, but this is how he is in heaven. The one who has conquered death and Hades, the one who has the keys to life and death, the one who is the name above all names. Hallelujah, dear Lord, I thank you for your wonderful presence. Lord, I thank you for your name, that's, above all names, where every knee will bow on this earth, above the earth and below the earth. Oh, hallelujah. Thank you for this beautiful time. Thank you for this beautiful word that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. Thank you, lord. We join in the hosts of angels and sing Holy, holy, holy Lord, god Almighty, who was and is and is to come, amen.
