I want to start with something from the Old Testament today and I want to tell you the Bible, of course most of you know, is divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament, marking the life of Jesus. So the Old Testament is before Jesus came down to this planet and the New Testament is after that, after he came. And you should know that the first five books in the Old Testament were written by Moses Genesis, exodus, leviticus, deuteronomy and Numbers. And these are beautiful books of how God works in magnificent ways, what he does for his people. And these books have laws in them that God set down for his people and there are foundations of the laws set by God and within these books are even the Ten Commandments. But I also want to tell you today that you have to look at the Old Testament in a very different way after what Jesus has done on that cross, because after Jesus came on the planet and gave up his life on that cross, everything changes. But that's for another time. And today, as I said, I want to start with the Old Testament and I'm getting right into it, and I want to share something with you from the book of Leviticus. And the book of Leviticus, the 20th chapter, the 26th verse, leviticus 20 26. And you shall be holy to me, for I, the Lord, am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine. Hallelujah, I told you, the Old Testament has a lot of laws and God spoke to Moses and in this particular book he is telling Moses you shall be holy to me, for the people of Israel, for I, the Lord, am holy and I have separated you from the peoples that you should be mine. So I want to tell you you need to be clean towards God. That's what it means in the beginning that you shall be holy to me. You have to be righteous towards God, the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, and he is holy. And then the last part of the verse says I have separated you from the people, that you should be mine. Oh, hallelujah, god has separated you and me from the crowds, he has segregated you and me from the people of the world. He has handpicked you. Is what the scripture says. Oh, hallelujah, that you should be mine. Oh, hallelujah, and as I said, I wanted to start with the Old Testament. And oh, hallelujah, and as I said, I wanted to start with the Old Testament and this morning I want to tell you that you are handpicked by God. Don't be mistaken today at all. Don't think that it's by chance that you are here or you are listening to this by a stroke of luck. You are chosen by God and know that this is the word of God. It's not me saying this to you. I, the Lord, am holy. I have separated you from the peoples. That you should be mine, hallelujah. That you should be mine, hallelujah. And I'm going to the book of Isaiah, where it says 49, 15.

Isaiah 49 15 says can a woman forget her nursing child and not have compassion on the son of a womb? Can a woman forget her nursing child and not have compassion on the son of a womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. A mother is a mother, the one who takes care of her child in a precious and a dear manner. There is no one like a mother. I can tell you that. Even you know that. But yes, we are human and we know. A mother cannot forget her child is what God is calling out in this passage of Scripture or not have compassion on him or her. It's not possible for a mother to do that, but yet we know of cases such, of course, we know a parent abandoning their child, leaving them at places. It's sad, but it's true and it happens.

But I'm here to give you good news this morning. And we are human and god knows that, which is why he says can a woman forget a nursing child and not have compassion on the son or the daughter of a womb? Surely, he says they may forget, they may forget. He says, but I shall not forget you, oh hallelujah, oh, I will not forget you, oh, hallelujah, we are human, but he is god, and which is why he says surely they may forget, some mothers might forget, but I will not forget you, oh hallelujah, that's powerful stuff. You are his child.

I want to tell you this morning, this day, you are his child. I want to tell you this morning, this day, you are his child. And I want to tell you something else. See what the next verse says Isaiah 49, 16. See, god says see, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hand. Oh, hallelujah, your walls are continually before me, oh, oh, hallelujah, your walls are continually before me, oh, hallelujah, oh, you should go and mark Isaiah 49, 15 and 16, where he's telling you and me this morning. I will not forget you. And see, I have inscribed you on the palm of my hands. Your walls are continually before me, oh, hallelujah, oh. Your name is on the palm of his hands and your walls are continually before him, which means he is watching your boundaries. He protects you constantly. He's watching what you build. He's continually looking over you, oh, hallelujah, oh, don't you ever think that he is not watching over you? Oh, don't you ever think that he has abandoned you? That's not how he works. Your earthly mother and your earthly parents may forget you, but he will not. I will not forget you. He says and I have your name on the palm of my hand, I am constantly watching you. Oh, hallelujah, you, hallelujah, he's constantly watching over. You know that this beautiful morning, this beautiful day, hallelujah, he is constantly watching over. You Know that this beautiful morning, this beautiful day, hallelujah.

The book of Psalms says Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord. It's in Psalm 20 Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord. And I want to take you now to the New Testament. I actually have a very short word this morning, but I told you I want to start with the Old Testament and it's segregated by the time before Jesus came on this planet and how God worked with his people. And then there's a New Testament when Jesus comes on this planet and everything is recorded of what he's done here and what he did while he was amongst his creation. And then there's a New Testament after that. And, as I said, I want to take you to the New Testament now. And I told you, after what Jesus has done on that cross for you and me, everything changes. I started with that. I said you should look at the Old Testament a little differently after what Jesus has done on that cross and depending on how much you know Jesus a little differently, can turn to very differently. But, as I said, that's for another time.

And Romans 8.34 oh, mark out the scripture. Romans 8.34 who is he who condemns? Hallelujah? Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and, furthermore, is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God. Oh, listen to this. Who also makes intercession for us? Oh, hallelujah, oh hallelujah. I'm reading it again for you from the word of God Romans 8, 34? Who is he who condemns? It is Christ, who died and, furthermore, is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God. Who also makes intercession for us? Oh, hallelujah, who is he? Who comes to lie, steal and destroy who? He's nothing, he's nothing. Jesus is everything, who died for you and me on that cross. He is alive today. He's seated at the right hand of the power of God. And wait. He makes intercession for you and me. Oh, hallelujah, oh Hallelujah. Jesus is praying on your behalf. Jesus is interceding for you. You don't believe it? Go read Romans 8.34. Who makes intercession for us? Jesus is praying for you. Oh, what? Oh, hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah. Jesus is interceding for you and me. Oh, hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Jesus is interceding for you and me. Oh, don't think he doesn't know what you want. You think he doesn't know what you like. He's got your name written on the palm of his hand. He has made you. Oh hallelujah.

Colossians 3.2 and 3 says Set your mind on things above and this is for somebody here this morning. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Oh, set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth, for you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth, for you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Horses or chariots, oh, I will trust in the name of the Lord. I will put my trust in Jesus, the name above all names. Oh, put your trust in Him.

Your life is hidden with Jesus and I told you there is something amazing about what he has done on that cross at so many levels, and it's the wisdom of God to reveal it to you. But I want to tell you this morning that your life is hidden within Jesus, after he died on that cross and you put your faith in what he has done on that cross and in his name and in his blood. You have died and your life now is hidden in Jesus. You've not physically died, don't get me wrong. As I said, you have to understand this at a spiritual level. Your spirit man is reborn in what Jesus has done on that cross and your life now is hidden within Jesus and the more you get to know him, the more will be released to you on this life, on this planet. Hallelujah, your life is in Christ. Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah.

Every good gift. James 1.17 says every good gift. Listen to this this morning. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, everything is from above and it comes down from the father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. Oh hallelujah, what a powerful scripture, james 1.17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. Oh hallelujah, every good thing, every good thing comes down from heaven. Everything perfect comes down from God, comes down from the father of lights. There is no variation or shifting shadow. He is perfect. He never changes. The Bible says he is the same yesterday, today and forever more. And I want to tell you something this morning. I will tell you why Every good gift and every perfect gift, it comes down from the father, where there is no variation or shifting shadow. I'll tell you why and understand this.

This beautiful day, the blood that was shed for us was the same, the blood of Jesus from generations to generations that have come after him on this planet, and even generations before. There is no variation, there can be no variation. There can be no variation to what he did on that cross for you and me. It's not depending on your color or your weight or your height or your ethnicity and your background and what is your family name. The same blood was shed for us all.

For who believes in Jesus shall I have life everlasting, oh hallelujah. Oh hallelujah. He didn't take on anything more or anything less by a name or a person. He took it all when he was nailed on that cross for you and me, and he shed his blood for you and me. That you and me and I and all of us here may have life everlasting in his name, yeshua. Oh, this beautiful morning, put your trust in Jesus, or know that he gave up his life for you on a cross. He took a painful death. He took a curse, because it is a man who hangs on a cross. He took a curse for you and me and on the third day he rose and today he is seated at the right hand of god, interceding for you. Oh, hallelujah, he is praying for you. Oh hallelujah, hallelujah.

Dear lord, I thank you for your wonderful word. I thank you for your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. I thank you, lord, this beautiful morning, for what you have done on that cross for us. I thank you, lord, that you are always interceding on our behalf. Oh, hallelujah. I thank you, lord, and I give you glory and honor for your name, for our name that's on the palm of your hands, lord. I thank you, lord, that, as your word says, you will never forget us. I thank you, lord, for your name. You will never forget us. I thank you, lord, for your name, the name that's above all names, where every knee will bow on the earth, above the earth and below the earth. Hallelujah, in Jesus name, I pray, amen, thank you.
