Speaker 1:

This morning I'm taking you back in time, back in time to the life of Moses, and some of you know and some of you don't, but I'm going to tell you about the story of Moses and what he did in Egypt. And he was picked, handpicked and sent by God to set the Israelites free from slavery in Egypt. And the Israelites were God's people and they were slaves in Egypt and they were calling out to God for many, many years. And God finally hears their cries and sends Moses. But I want to tell you the Pharaoh was not going to have any of that. He was not going to have the freedom to the Israelites handed to them, the freedom to the Israelites hand it to them. And so, as it goes, as documented in the Bible it's in the book of Exodus, if you'd ever want to read it in your time that the Pharaoh is not letting the Israelites go. And Moses is there with his brother Aaron, and God instructs Moses and Aaron to do certain things in the midst of the Egyptians, to show them that he is the one true God and to let God's people go, which is the Israelites go. But the Pharaoh, he wasn't listening. So, after giving them enough of chances, god brings down ten plagues on to Egypt. You're horrible, horrible plagues, just to prove to the Pharaoh that he is the one true living God, the representative of the whole of Israel. And it starts with waters turning into blood, which means the Nile turns to blood, the rivers turn to blood, and then there are frogs in the land. And then there are gnats G-N-A-T gnat you can go on Google and find out what it is. It's a form of an insect that bites. And then there are flies. And then there's a, the plague of livestock getting diseased. That means every animal, every domesticated animal in in the land, every beast in the land gets diseased. And then there's a plague of boils, there's a plague of hail, then there's a plague of locusts, and then that of darkness, and then the last and the most deadliest one of them all the death of every firstborn in Egypt. The death of every firstborn in Egypt. And after each of these plagues, the Pharaoh's heart is just hardened and he just does not let them go. And every time, god, through Moses and Aaron, would call out every small little detail to the Pharaoh. In fact, he would also make a differentiation, to tell the Pharaoh that each of these plagues will not hit the Israelites, but they will hit you and your land and your people and your homes and your households. But yet the Pharaoh hardened his heart each time and he would not release God's people from slavery. And then it comes down to that last, that last plague, the death of every firstborn in Egypt. Oh, that's a hard one.

Speaker 1:

And here's where I want to make a special mention of the word in the Bible, in the book of Exodus, called the Passover, where the people of Israel are told by Moses, through God, or rather through Moses through God, or rather through Moses by God, that they had to make a sacrifice, and that sacrifice each house would have to make a sacrifice, and there is a long description of what kind of sacrifice it needs to be, but I am not going into that. And then it goes on to say the blood of that lamb is to be put, but I'm not going into that. And then it goes on to say the blood of that lamb is to be put across the doorposts and the lintel of the houses of Israel. And I want to tell you this Passover happens just before the plague hits the land, and this is the clause the plague hits the land, and this is the clause Go, take that sacrifice, take the blood and put it on the doorposts and the lintel of the houses of the Israelites, and the destroyer will pass over those houses. And he went into the other houses. But here is the main thing that I want to bring to your attention After death, there is freedom. After this last plague, the Pharaoh is broken, he is brought down to his knees and he lets the Israelites go. He loses his own son, his only firstborn. He loses him.

Speaker 1:

In Exodus 13.3, I am reading to you from the word of God. And Moses said to the people remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, for by the strength of the hand of the Lord, you have been brought out of this place. Oh, hallelujah, oh hallelujah. This passage of scripture is so significant and I'm reading it to you again this morning and you understand it in your spirit.

Speaker 1:

Exodus 13 3. And Moses says to the people Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, for by the strength of the hand the Lord brought you out of this place. Oh, hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah. And now I am going to many, many, many years after that. And if you ever want to know what happens about this story, you can read it in the book of Exodus. Pharaoh chases them, his heart gets hardened again and he chases them and he dies along with his entire army.

Speaker 1:

But, as I said, I'm going to many, many years later, now that Jesus is on the planet, and Jesus performs signs, miracles and wonders, and the lame are walking and the blind get their sight back and the paralyzed are jumping off their mattresses and the lepers are getting healed, some of them are being made whole, the oppressed are freed from their bondage. But I want to tell you this morning, god saved the Israelites many years ago, many years ago. But Jesus, he came on this planet to become that lamb. He came on this planet to become that sacrifice, that same sacrifice that theisalites made many, many years ago, and they put that blood on the doorpost and the lintels and they destroy your past. But Jesus came on this planet I want to tell you this morning to become that lamb.

Speaker 1:

And I'm reading to you from the book of John, the first chapter, the 29th verse. The next day, john saw Jesus coming toward him and said Behold the Lamb of God who? 29th verse. The next day, john saw Jesus coming toward him and said Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, oh, hallelujah. The next day, when John this is John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, hallelujah. He gave up His life for you, he gave up His life for me, he gave up His life for us. He was a beaten to death, and death on a cross, just for us.

Speaker 1:

And I want to tell you something. This beautiful, beautiful day, this beautiful morning, and you listen to this and you, let me tell you, there is a book of numbers in the bible, and God is into absolute details of things, and God is into absolute things of timings and numbers. And if you read that book, you will know what I mean. But let me tell you, look at God's timing and numbers. And if you read that book, you will know what I mean. But let me tell you, look at God's timing on this, the same as the Passover happened at the time of the Israelites and Moses in the land of Egypt, the Passover was also the time when Jesus was betrayed into the hands of men to be crucified, oh Hallelujah. The time when Jesus was betrayed into the hands of men to be crucified, oh hallelujah. Don't miss it this morning and get it, get the significance of it in your spirit.

Speaker 1:

An old covenant Made with Israel With the blood of the Lamb and a new covenant made with mankind with the precious, precious blood of Jesus, the precious, precious blood of His Son, his only begotten son, the sinless Lamb of God. And this beautiful day you understand this and know this that you put your faith in Jesus. And now it's his blood on your doorpost and your lintel. It's his blood that cleanses you, it's his blood that the spiritual world sees. And the destroyer, I want to tell you this beautiful morning, has no choice but to pass you by. Oh hallelujah. The destroyer has no choice. He has no choice but to pass you by, oh hallelujah, because he cannot do anything to you or your household, or anything that's within your fence, or anything that you even choose. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. And that's not all. That's not all.

Speaker 1:

John 14, the 12th to 16th chapter, says, most assuredly I say to you and listen to this, listen to this this morning. This is Jesus for you. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also, and greater things than these he will do, because I go to my father and whatever you ask in my name, that I will do that. The father will be glorified in the son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I want to tell you this morning, and look at this date and mark it down and understand that you are part of a new covenant, that you are part of a new covenant. You are not part of an old covenant where you had to make your own sacrifice. You are part of a new covenant where a sacrifice, the ultimate sacrifice, has been made for you and just being someone who believes in the name of Jesus, believing in the most high and what he did on that cross and by putting your faith in him, the destroyer has no option but to pass you by. Oh hallelujah, understand it. This morning, you know, a lot of times I've heard people saying, oh, this is happening to you. Option but to pass you by. Oh, hallelujah, understand it. This morning, you know, a lot of times I have heard people saying, oh, this is happening to you. Oh, God is doing this to you. No, no, no, god is not doing this to you. God has done what he had to do for you, to which now nothing comes your way. Believe me, nothing comes your way.

Speaker 1:

If there is anything else and you want to understand about that, if you are in that place today, go read the book of Job and then you'll know why you're going through something, because God boasts in you and he knows that you will triumph. And even if you think you won't, bible says I'm more than a conqueror in Christ. Oh, hallelujah, understand this beautiful morning that you are part of a new covenant and the destroyer has to look and pass you by. That guy who comes to lie, steal and destroy, he has no hold of you. He can only pass you by.

Speaker 1:

And you need to understand this morning. You need to understand this morning. Get it in your spirit and rejoice, hold your head up and know what Jesus did on that cross for you and me. And I want to leave you with the scripture which hit me at another level when I got the scripture which is John 6, 53, onward. And Jesus want to leave you with the scripture which hit me at another level when I got the scripture, which is John 6, 53, verse onwards.

Speaker 1:

And Jesus said to them and listen to this Most assuredly. I say to you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day, for my flesh is food, indeed, and my blood is drink, indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And if you want to know what this means, let me just tell you this man shall not live by bread alone. In the words of Jesus, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. He is the word hallelujah. And, yes, he has also said do this as often as you want in remembrance of me. Have the bread and wine. If it's a physical act that makes you happy to do it, do it. It is also the word of God, it's the word of of Jesus, but also know His blood and His word. His flesh is for you and, in the words of Jesus, whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day. My blood and my body will abide in him and I will abide in him, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

This was a deep word. I want to tell you that, and you can make note of some of these scriptures and read it in your own time and meditate on it. And today you need to understand that you are part of a whole new covenant and you need to understand understand this in your spirit that there is nothing that has a hold over you because of what jesus has done on that cross. There is nothing that can hold of you, that can take hold of you. The destroyer has to pass you by. The destroyer has to pass you by.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, dear lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you for your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for, lord. I thank you, lord, for your word. I thank Lord for your blood. I thank you, lord, for your body. I thank you, lord, most of all for what you did on that cross for us, lord, because of which, lord, the destroyer has no hold on us. The defeated one has no stand against us, lord.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, lord, for what you did on that cross for us. Thank you for your body that was broken, your blood that was shed. Thank you, lord, for aligning us, choosing us from even before the womb, knowing us, choosing us from even before the womb, knowing us, writing our names on the palm of your hand, lord, and picking us out to be part of this beautiful new covenant that you've made with the whole of mankind. That anyone who puts their faith in you, their faith in the name the name that is, above all names where every knee will bow on the earth, above the earth and below the earth. Lord, I thank you for this beautiful covenant and thank you for your beautiful sacrifice. Thank you for your beautiful presence that's filling people's homes up. Thank you, lord, for some people who've even understood this deep word and you've revealed it to them in their spirit. Thank you for this beautiful, beautiful time in your presence. Thank you, lord. In Jesus' name, I pray Amen.
