Speaker 1:

I want to start today. We're telling you that there are battles that we fight every day. There are battles that you and I fight every day. And let me tell you that we might not know about it, but know this morning that, as I said, you might not even know about certain battles that are taking place on your behalf and some of them, as I said, don't come to your attention and some of them do. And those are the ones that you know kind of hold you down or put you in a place where you know you are in a bit of a fix or, you know, puts you low, it makes you feel abandoned and things like that. And I'm reading to you from the word of God this morning and be rest assured, people of the most high, be rest assured that there are battles that happen everyday.

Speaker 1:

Ephesians 6.12 says For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of the darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness and the heavenly places, or what a powerful passage of Scripture and sounds very scary. Right, you can make note of it. It's Ephesians 6, 12 and you can read it in your own time. And it says very clearly that we do not fight with flesh and blood. In other words, you are not fighting with the things that you see. You're not fighting with that person who sits next to you at your office desk, who's making your life miserable. You're not fighting with that person who you have a face to right now that's coming to your mind. You're not fighting against that person. In fact, you're fighting the things that you cannot see, as put beautifully in this passage of scripture. Put beautifully in this passage of scripture. You're fighting against rulers and the powers. You're fighting against the world forces of darkness and you're fighting against spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6.12. Not me, the word of God says it.

Speaker 1:

And this morning, this beautiful day, I'm not here to scare you, but in fact I'm here to give you good news. Most of you know this scripture. Lord, your mercies are new every morning, and what you know? I want to give you my take on this scripture, and of course it's a beautiful know. I want to give you my take on this scripture, and of course it's a beautiful scripture.

Speaker 1:

But I want to tell you something this morning, and that is I believe again, this is only my belief. I believe that this is on the same lines for those battles that don't even come up to you, those battles that don't even come to your attention, for those that we are not even aware of. Those are some of his beautiful mercies for you and me, his beautiful grace towards you and me. For those who believe Hallelujah, his mercies are new every morning. Oh, hallelujah, because you and I Are not fighting against Flesh and blood, but in fact we are fighting a spiritual battle and, as I said, some of these don't even come to our attention because we don't even know it. It's wrapped up in the spiritual world and it's done with. They don't even manifest in the world that we're in, and some of them do and, as I said, some of them shake you up and some of them bring you down. Some of them even try to break you, and I want to tell you this morning that it might be related to your health, that battle that you're fighting, or that battle that surfaced, and maybe it's your finances. Maybe it has something to do with someone who is close to you. Maybe it has something to do with somebody who's turned away from you. Maybe it has something to do with something you did not even expect to come your way. Maybe it is a work situation, as I said, maybe it's your health. Maybe you see no way out of the situation. Maybe for some of you it just looks like a dead end and there is no solution.

Speaker 1:

But I started with telling you that I have good news for you this morning, and I want by telling you that I have good news for you this morning, and I want to tell you that you are not alone in this. You are not alone in this, and there is a scripture that I want to share with somebody. It's for someone in particular Isaiah 59 1. There is a scripture that I want to share with somebody. It's for someone in particular Isaiah 59.1, and this is for you. Behold, the Lord's hand is not too short that it cannot save, nor is his ear so dull that it cannot hear Hallelujah. I'm reading it again for you Isaiah 59.1 says Behold, the Lord's hand is not so short that it cannot save, nor is his ear so dull that it cannot hear. Oh, hallelujah, his hand is not short at all. You go into the creator of heaven and earth.

Speaker 1:

I want to tell you this morning and this is for you, and you might think that you are in that situation, that you are abandoned and that he cannot hear you. But you are wrong. I am here to tell you this morning and this beautiful day that you are wrong and, as I said, I don't know the smaller details of things, but I want to tell you that he is always with you. He is always with you, and don't take my word for it. Take the words of Jesus from the book of Matthew, 28, 20. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Jesus's time on this planet was up and he was telling his disciples about what they're supposed to do, and then he tells them and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. He is always with you. And by no means think that he cannot save you and by no means, this morning, think that he cannot hear you. I'm here to clarify that for you, hallelujah. And yes, we do get to, as I said, situations which bring us down those battles, which bring us down those things which we don't understand. Why is this happening? I don't understand. It's okay, we've all gone through it. I have too. But what's important to know is that he is with you always, even to the end of the age, and even though you think you're fighting against flesh and blood, you're not. You're fighting a spiritual battle with principalities and powers and things of the darkness, and he is with you because he has already won that battle. Hallelujah, jesus is always with you, no matter what space you might think that you are in, he is always with you and this is for you this morning.

Speaker 1:

Second corinthians, the 20th chapter, the 17th verse. You need not fight in this battle, oh hallelujah. 2 Chronicles I'm sorry, 2 Chronicles, 20 chapter, the 17th verse. You need not fight in this battle. Station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf. Oh Judah, oh Jerusalem, do not fear or be dismayed Tomorrow. Go out to face them, for the Lord is with you. Amen. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. I'm reading it again for you.

Speaker 1:

This is such a powerful passage of scripture 2 Chronicles, 20, 17th verse onwards you need not fight in this battle. Station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the lord on your behalf. Oh judah, oh jerusalem, do not fear or be dismayed tomorrow. Go out to face them, for the Lord is with you. I say stand up right now. Who's going to wait for tomorrow? Stand right now, station yourself and watch the Lord fight on your behalf.

Speaker 1:

Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Get up and dust off that feeling of defeat. You're not defeated. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. He has overcome death and he is always with you. You are more than a conqueror in Christ, amen, hallelujah. And stand up tall to the problem, speak to it and throw it into the sea. You think more than a conqueror in Christ, amen, hallelujah. And stand up tall to the problem, speak to it and throw it into the sea. You think you can't do it. Do it and you will see it happen.

Speaker 1:

Aligned with 2nd Chronicles, hallelujah, jeremiah 15, 20. And then I will make you to this people and listen to this this is for somebody here. And I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze, and though they fight against you, they will not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you, amen, and deliver you, declares the Lord. Oh hallelujah, jeremiah 15, 20. Go, mark it. You should know these scriptures to speak into your situations, for your situations to turn. Because, as I said, I started with telling you you are not fighting with flesh and blood, you are fighting with the spiritual world, and the only way you can change the situation Is to speak the living word into it Hallelujah, jeremiah 15.20. Then I will make you, to this people, the living word into it Hallelujah, jeremiah 15 20. Then I will make you, to this people, a fortified wall of bronze. For those people who are coming against you, for those things that are coming against you, for that battle that you see standing in front of you, the Lord has made you a fortified wall of bronze and though they fight against you, though those guys remember I mentioned them principalities, titles, darkness, those things that you don't understand and though they fight against you, hallelujah, they will not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you and deliver. You, declares the Lord. Oh amen, hallelujah, oh hallelujah. I told you, speak to your situation and throw it into the sea. Anyone that has faith, the size of a mustard seed can speak to this mountain and the mountain will move. This is what Jesus meant. Oh, hallelujah, hallelujah. Size of a mustard seed can speak to this mountain and the mountain will move. This is what Jesus meant. Oh, hallelujah, hallelujah. And I want to tell you that there was one person who understood this to the core, and I have a very short example to share with you this morning.

Speaker 1:

I want to share with you a story from a time in the life of Elisha, and Elisha operated in a very, very different level with God, a whole new level with God, a prophet of God. He was a powerful prophet and the Bible so says that the king of Syria was making war against Israel and he makes plans to go to a particular place and camp there and Elisha tells the king of Israel to stay away from that place and to not pass that place, and so the king doesn't get captured. And this happens multiple times where the king of Israel is saved and escapes the king of Syria because of what Elisha has told him. The Bible goes on to say that the king of Syria now begins to get troubled and believes that there is a spy in his camp, because every time he is making a plan it gets thwarted. And 2 Kings 6, chapter 12, verse says and one of his servants said None, my lord. Which means there is no spy amongst us, o Lord, o King. But Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king the words that you speak in your bedroom, oh, hallelujah. How amazing is that, something that your enemy is plotting, something that the king of Israel's enemy was plotting in his bedroom, was being told to Elisha, and Elisha is going and telling the king of Israel and it's saving him. I told you Elisha operated in some amazing, amazing power of God. So basically, his servant tells him about Elisha and tells him that he gets to know everything that's being planned by the king of Syria. And so the king of Syria tells his servants, his aides, go and see where he is, that I may send and get him. So now there's a complete change of strategy. The king of Syria is warring against Israel and trying to finish off the king, but now he says, wait, let's leave everything and let's just go after this elisha guy. Who is this guy? Let's go after him, that I may send and get him. Complete change of war strategy.

Speaker 1:

And while I'm sharing this story with you this morning, I want you to keep that scripture in mind that I started with, that you do not fight with flesh and blood. You fight with powers and principalities that come from darkness. You are fighting with the spiritual world and people. It's not me, it's the word of God. And so, while all of this is happening, and I'm sharing this example with you for you to relate to the situation that you might be in, where you're fighting your own battle.

Speaker 1:

And so it is reported to the king that Elisha is in a place called Dothan, or Dothan. And listen to what the bible says happens next, second king 6, the 14th chapter. Uh, the 6th chapter, the 14th verse. Therefore, the king of Syria. Therefore, he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, that they came by night and surrounded the city. Oh, wow, it's one man, it's Elisha. But the king of Syria has sent horses and chariots and an entire army just to capture Syria. And they surround the city of Dothan in the night.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, the Bible says in the morning, elisha has a servant with him and that morning, I'm assuming, the servant had some chores and he arose early in the morning, the Bible says, and he went out of the house where they were staying and when he goes out, he saw that there was an army surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And the servant goes rushing to Elisha and says oh, master, alas, master, what shall we do? And you know, the Bible does not say anything about the demeanor or the behavior of Elisha at this moment. It says nothing. It just talks about the, the servant, who's an absolute chaos, I'm sure at the moment running around saying, alas, master, what, what are we going to do? The army is surrounded, we are done, we are caught. And it is a scary situation, right, picture it. You get up in the morning to see that you're completely surrounded by an army, and it's just two of you. But listen to what happens next. Listen.

Speaker 1:

Second Kings, the sixth chapter, the sixteenth verse onwards. And so he answered do not fear. He answered his servant. Elisha answers his servant. Do not fear for those who are with us, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Oh hallelujah. And Elisha prayed and said Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. And then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around. Elisha, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Oh Lord, open his eyes that he may see. And the young man saw the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire all around elisha, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to tell you how this story ends, but I want to tell you something today this battle that you're in, this battle that you see in front of you, this battle that you feel is a dead end and you don't know what to do, it does not belong to you. It belongs to God, and I want to tell you this morning, through the Word of God, through the scriptures released to you this morning, from the Word of God, that he will fight on your behalf, and you have to know and understand this this morning. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Go out and face it, for the Lord is with you till the end of the ages. He is never going to leave you nor forsake you. He is making you a fortified wall of bronze and that, whatever may be that come against you, they will not prevail over you, for he is with you and he will save and deliver you.

Speaker 1:

Amen, dear lord, I thank you for this beautiful time.

Speaker 1:

I thank you for this beautiful world, your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. I thank you, lord, for your beautiful, beautiful sacrifice that you made on that cross for us, because of which you are always with us till the end of the ages, and you are more than a conqueror, and through you, we are more than conquerors, lord. Thank you, lord. Whatever situation the people are going through right now, they will know that this battle does not belong to them. They will stand still, stand firm and watch you win the battle on their behalf. This battle does not belong to them, lord, it belongs to you, and I thank you, lord, that you've made them a fortified wall of bronze and that they will not have to fight, and you have already made them prevail in this situation. Thank you, lord, for this beautiful time. Thank you for this beautiful, for a beautiful presence that's here and can people can feel you, lord. Thank you, lord. In Jesus beautiful, mighty name, I pray Amen.
