Your Sanctuary
Imagine navigating unknown territories in life without any protection.
One of God's promises to us is His refuge, a sanctuary in the midst of life's storms.
Tune in to this week's episode, which guides us to the secret place that's already been prepared for us.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
- Psalms 91:1 NKJV
It's a beautiful day and I want to tell you that when we started the year, which was again just a few days ago, we got ourselves three pillars to build this year on Hallelujah. And today is a word of God, is a word on protection from the most high, and it's needed for each and every one of us every day, because the Bible says that we don't, we don't battle with flesh and blood. And when you get a deeper relationship, get into a deeper relationship with God, you understand this, that you don't. You don't, and it's the Word of God. If you can take the blessings of God, you need to take everything that's in the Word of God, and it says very clearly that we do not battle with flesh and blood, but we rather battle with principalities and things of the darkness. The Bible says your, your battle is with the spiritual world. It's no longer with the people you see in front of you, and for that we need God's protection. And I'm going straight into the word of God, which is a line for us today and again significant as the beginning of the year, from Psalm 91. And Psalm 91 1 says he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Oh hallelujah. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the under the shadow of the Almighty. I would love to be under the shadow of the Almighty, where nothing will come near me. And let me unlock this code for you the secret place is His word, the word is Yeshua.
Speaker 1:Most of you know the scripture in the beginning was the word. The word was with God, the word was God. And I want to tell you you read the word and you abide in him. You read the bible. You abide in him and he abides in you and you dwell in the secret place. It's that simple. And remember, in the beginning of the year, the scripture that was shared from Philippines 15, which said fellowship in the gospel, fellowship in the word of God, fellowship with Jesus. It's all the same thing. The secret place of the most high. Oh hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And then you will be under the shadow of the almighty, the shadow of the almighty, oh hallelujah. And then you will be under the shadow of the almighty, the shadow of the almighty, oh hallelujah. I will say to the lord he is my refuge and my fortress, my god. In him I will trust a place of shelter, a place of safety, a place that is fortified by the Lord. And I want to tell you this morning and this beautiful day forget about people and men with titles and positions. Put your trust in the Lord, your God, and he will. Titles and positions. Put your trust in the Lord, your God, and he will be your refuge and your fortress, this year as a lion. So this scripture, psalm 91 too, he's your refuge, he's your fortress, he's the one In whom you need to put your trust in.
Speaker 1:And then it goes on to say Surely, surely, he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers, oh hallelujah, and under his wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be a shield and buckler, oh hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture. Surely, oh, surely, be assured, oh, do not even have a doubt about it that he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. Remember going back to that scripture Not flesh and blood, that's not what you're battling. You're battling powers and principalities and things of darkness. And he will deliver you.
Speaker 1:This passage of scripture says From the snare of the fowler and the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah. Some of you can feel his presence, you can feel his arm around you and under his wings you will take refuge. Oh hallelujah, he will protect you from the evil schemes and the plots, from that, from that one who comes to kill, steal and destroy the pestilence, any plague, any epidemic, from that one who comes to kill, steal and destroy the pestilence, any plague, any epidemic, anything. It cannot even touch you. He will give you refuge under His wings, oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah. And His truth, his truth, his, his word, jesus, shall be your shield and buckler, your fortification, your defense.
Speaker 1:You know sometimes, you know it's a new year and you know, a lot of times people have this perspective that why is God doing this to me? First of all, I want to tell you it's not God who's doing it to you. Just be absolutely assured about that. He's not the one who does it to you. But if you ever want a perspective on it, you go read the book of Job, where God says have you considered my servant Job? Which means, in other words, god knows that you will pass that test. And sometimes, sometimes that test does come a little close, closer than expected, and that's when Jesus is your shield and buckler, that's your protection at close contact, when it's come close to you. Now, now he's standing in front of you. Oh, hallelujah, some of you can feel his presence and I praise god for that. Hallelujah, and I'm going ahead.
Speaker 1:Psalm 91, the fifth and sixth chapter, goes on to say I'm sorry, the fifth and sixth verse you shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in the darkness Ooh, there comes that word darkness again Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. Oh, hallelujah, you shall not be afraid. Oh, you shall not be afraid. Oh, you shall not be afraid anymore, whether day or night, no matter how terrifying the situation might look, no matter what, you might not even be aware that something is coming towards you. The Lord will protect you. The Lord's protection is upon you. Oh, hallelujah, oh hallelujah. You know, I've said it multiple times and I'll say it again, and I'll keep saying it.
Speaker 1:There are everything in the Bible is interlinked, and it's a bitch the secret to unravel it. And here's where the scripture comes in. We walk by faith and not by sight. Don't walk by what you see. It's not even coming near you. That's the, that's the false thing that's coming your way, that is trying to make you fall down your faith, not the thing that you see. You walk by faith, not by sight, and do not be afraid by whatever it is that you hear around you, the arrow that flies by day, or the pestilence that walks in the darkness, isn't it so clear? The pestilence that walks in the darkness? Or even the destruction that's lying around at noonday, oh jeez, you don't even need to bother about it. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And this is the one that you need to really take from this beautiful passage of scripture, the seventh verse to the twelfth verse. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at a right hand, but it shall not even come near you. The bible says it will not even come near you. The bible says only with your eyes shall you, shall you look and see the reward of the wicked? And that's really sad, but it's the word of God, because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most high, your dwelling place. Oh amen, hallelujah, no evil will befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling, for he shall give his angels charge over you To keep you in all your ways In their hands. They shall bear you up Lest you dash your foot against a stone. Oh, hallelujah, complete protection. A complete protection, not just in this year, for the rest of your lives. A complete protection from the Most High. It's for your households. It's for your homes, it's for the people who love, who will even get protected because of you, who live with you, your extended families. Nothing shall even come near you. The bible says oh, believe it, amen, believe it this morning. It's the word of god, people. It will not even come near you and you will see with your eyes. But it will not even come near you, hallelujah, and he will not let your foot dash against the stone. He will command his angels charge over you To keep you in everything that you do, everything that you do.
Speaker 1:Go and mark this passage of scripture. In fact, you should read it anytime you need a protection. Read it out loud for yourself. Read it out loud for somebody around you, if it's needed. Hallelujah for yourself. Read it out loud for somebody around you if it's needed. Hallelujah, everything you do, in everything you do, in all your ways, you shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. Because he has set his love upon me, hallelujah. Therefore, I will deliver him, I will set him on high because he has known my name, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:We are human and even though we have earthly love for the Creator not the kind of unconditional love that he has for you and me believe me, it's not the kind of love that he has for you and me. His love is unconditional. Unconditional, it means it has no limits, it has no bounds, it has no boundaries. That's not a love that you and I even understand. And even if you want to get a glimpse of that kind of love, even if you want to try and fathom it, you fathom that he sent his son down for you and me to die on a cross, a painful. Now you cannot fathom it. That's how much he loves you, unconditional love for you, and because of that he will deliver you from all the terrors of life.
Speaker 1:It's the word of God in Psalm 91, the 13th to 14th verse. And why? Because you trust in his name, the name that's above all names. The bible says where every knee will bow on the earth, above the earth, below the earth. Every time you use that name, whether you believe it or not, every knee bows on these three realms. They bow, they have to, they have no option. Hallelujah, because you've put your faith in that name.
Speaker 1:And for someone here, for someone in particular here, you feel that you are under attack from some people at work or maybe, maybe, some people on the personal front, and this scripture is for you today, particularly for, particularly for you. You will tread upon them. You will tread upon them. That means you will stamp on them, you will walk all over them. Hallelujah, fear not, fear not. The Lord is with you, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And finally, if you'd like to call it the silver lining to this beautiful scripture, the platinum lining, the whatever lining you want to call it, to this already beautiful, beautiful cloud, the 15th and the 16th verse says he shall call upon me and I will answer him. Amen, oh, he shall call upon me and I will answer him. She shall call upon me and I will answer him. I will answer her, I will be with him and I will be with her in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him. I will deliver her and honor him. I will deliver her and honor her with long life. I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. Hallelujah. Oh, what a beautiful passage of scripture, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And in case you didn't know this, know it now. Psalm 91, 15 says and in case you didn't know this, know it now. Psalm 91.15 says he shall call upon me and I will answer him. When you call upon the Master, when you call upon Jesus, he will answer you. Listen to the scripture and understand it. If you ever decide to call upon His name, he will answer you, do not even doubt it. If you ever decide to call upon his name, he will answer you, do not even doubt it. He will answer you. The scripture does not say I shall, I might. I'll check my schedule. No, I will answer him. Oh, and I will be with him in trouble. I told you.
Speaker 1:You know, troubles are defined by different people, on different scales. For you, trouble might be something else. For me, it's something else. For someone else in another part of the world, it's something else. And the Lord, in this beautiful scripture, has then come past any form of the word trouble and said I will be with him in trouble. That's it. He will be your shield and buckler. Amen.
Speaker 1:He will be with you during those close quarters, right there at your right hand side, and this is for you this morning. If you ever need, call upon him and he will answer you. Do not even doubt it. He will be with you in times of troubles. He is with you in times of troubles and he is always going to be with you, hallelujah. And that's not all. He will deliver you out of that situation.
Speaker 1:The Bible says he will honor you. And if that's not enough, honor you In case you're wondering what is honor you he'll set a table in front of your enemies. He'll set a table, a banquet, in front of the situation. You can sit and feast while the situation is dancing around you. Don't worry about it. It's the word of God and with long life he will satisfy you, amen. And he will show you his salvation. He will show you Yeshua. You be ready for it. If you decide to call on him. Hallelujah, hallelujah to this beautiful, beautiful scripture, you will see his salvation come through. You will see his salvation come through. You will see it. Hallelujah.
Speaker 1:Dear lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you for this beautiful time. I thank you for this, for your beautiful presence that's entered people's homes. I thank you, lord, that people can feel you standing in the right hand. I thank you, lord, that people can feel your arm around them. Lord, I thank you, lord, that you have spread your wings over some people. I thank you, lord, that some people are already basking in your beautiful presence right now, under your shadow. Hallelujah. I thank you, lord, for this beautiful protection, your word from Psalm 91, that you've released upon our lives today. I thank you, lord, that you are watching over your word to perform it. I thank you for this beautiful protection that you've released for us, from this day until our time when we're here.
Speaker 1:I thank you, lord, that we don't need to bother about anything that's happening on this planet the pestilence. We don't need to worry about the foulest snare. We don't need to worry about the traps that are set at noon. We don't need to worry about the foulest snare. We don't need to worry about the traps that are set at noon. We don't need to worry about the thing that walks in the darkness. Oh, we don't need to worry about anything, lord. Thank you, lord. I claim Psalm 91 over each and every one of us. Lord, I claim Psalm 91 over everyone who is listening to this beautiful word that's been released today. Thank you, lord, for your beautiful love. Thank you for being ever so faithful to us. In Jesus name, I pray Amen.
