- Matthew 13:23 NKJV
Today I want to get straight into the Word of God and I'm very excited to share the Word of God with you. I'm going to tell you in advance some of you are going to experience God today, right next to you. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I want to tell you about a time when Jesus took his disciples and went up on a mountain, and it's very specific. Jesus decides to take only Peter, james and John with him, and the Bible says that Jesus gets transfigured before them. Oh, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And I'm sharing with you today directly from the Word of God, from the book of Mark, the ninth chapter, the third verse onwards. And just to give you a foreground to what has happened, jesus is with the crowds and he's fed a multitude and now he goes up on a mountain to pray and while he's doing that, he takes only three disciples with him Peter, james and John. And now I'm reading to you directly from the Word of God. The Bible says his clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on the earth can whiten them. Hallelujah and Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. Oh, hallelujah, oh, hallelujah. So he goes up on the mountain, he takes these three disciples and now, suddenly, jesus gets transfigured and his clothes become shining white, and the Bible even says so white that no launderer, or not, could whiten them. And then Elijah and Moses appear and they are talking with Jesus Wow. And the Bible says and then these three disciples get very afraid, and Peter is the one who speaks out. Actually, he's so afraid that he does not even know what to say. And he says to Jesus let's make three tabernacles here it's very nice that we are here, lord and let's make three tabernacles here one for Jesus, which is one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. And just as he says this, the Bible says a cloud came and overshadowed them and a voice came out of the cloud saying this is my beloved son, hear him. Oh, hallelujah, I told you in the beginning. Some of you will feel God's presence today. Some of you will feel Jesus right next to you. Hallelujah, this is my beloved son, hear him. And I want to tell you that this, the transfiguration of Jesus, whenever you'd like to read it in your own time, is in Matthew, mark and Luke and, of course, depending on what kind of personalities they had, it is either extremely narrative or not. And you can read it in your own time, as I said.
Speaker 1:So Peter now speaks to Jesus and says it's nice that we are here, lord, and let us make three tabernacles one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. And just as he finishes speaking, a cloud comes and overshadows them and a voice in the cloud says this is my beloved son. Hear him, hallelujah. And then suddenly the disciples look around and there's no one there but Jesus with them. And as they come down the mountain, jesus commands them that they should not tell anyone about what they saw. Wow, what a beautiful thing to experience for Peter, james and John. And you know what.
Speaker 1:Of course, anyone would have been scared to witness something like that, but today I'd like to give you my take on this one. My take, it's not in the Bible, but Jesus, I want to tell you, in front of his three disciples, stepped into the spiritual world and he met with Moses and Elijah, people who were on this planet before him, but both who were in heaven at the time, one taken by God and the other one, like all men, died and gone to heaven. So you see, these two men are in heaven, and Peter and James and John are privy to this beautiful experience and, as I said, yes, it's my take on the matter. And don't ask me what they spoke about or why that even happens. I would not know, but I can tell you this Jesus stepped into the spiritual world right in front of his three disciples and don't be mistaken as to why he picked only three. That's for you to understand, not for me to tell you. But I'll tell you this.
Speaker 1:We have our trusted ones that we take with us everywhere we go. We have those one or two people that we know we will share what we want to share and they will understand it. The rest just won't. But all I can tell you this morning is Jesus chose Peter, james and John and he stepped into the spiritual world right in front of them and his clothes turned white and his countenance was like the sun on that mountain where Moses and Elijah came and spoke with him, hallelujah. That mountain where Moses and Elijah came and spoke with him, hallelujah, hallelujah. And then, as of course the Bible has documented it, moses and Elijah disappear and the cloud comes and the voice from the cloud, oh the father, this is my son. Hear him, my beloved son. Hear him. And today I want to take you to the heavenly realm and show you Jesus. And for most of you some of you know it, some of you might not Jesus came to John at the island of Patmos, where he was exiled, to show him what he's supposed to write down and tell the whole world after that what he sees in the heavenlies. And I want to tell you, from the book of Revelation, the first chapter, the twelfth verse onwards, and you should mark this down and you should read the book of Revelation, starting from the first chapter, maybe a few verses only. Read the whole book, I leave it to you.
Speaker 1:And then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. This is John. And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands and in the midst of the seven lampstands, one like the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band, and his head and hair were white like wool oh hallelujah and white as snow. His eyes were like the flame of a fire, his feet were like fine brass, as refined in a furnace, and his voice as the sound of many waters. He had in his right hand seven stars and out of his mouth went a sharp, two-edged sword, and his countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. Oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, jesus after he has been resurrected from the grave, oh Hallelujah, oh hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And then the 17th verse says I am the first and the last, I am he who lives and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys To Hades and of death. Oh hallelujah, oh, the same John hallelujah. He saw Jesus on the mountain, transfigured. And then he says Jesus, he sees Jesus in the island of Patmos in the victorious form. Oh hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And I want to tell you this morning, and if you've never understood it, understand it this morning that Jesus is victorious over everything you know and everything you understand. And if it's, if you don't want to take my word for it, you know what? Don't take my word for it. Take the bible for it. And it's in the book of Ephesians, the first chapter onwards all principality, power, title, might, dominion, authority, above any name that shall ever be named, whether it's now, it's in the past or it shall ever be named, whether it's now, it's in the past or it shall ever be, forevermore for time. And he has the keys to life and death. Oh hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And today I want to tell you hear him From the words that he spoke when he was on this planet. Hear him, and I'm sharing this with you and you must understand it, aligned to what has been shared with you this morning, from the book of Matthew, the 13th chapter, 23rd verse. Matthew 13, the 23rd verse. But he who received seed on good soil is he who hears the word and understands it. It is he who indeed bears fruit and produces some, a hundred. Someour and your Christ Receive the seed.
Speaker 1:In this passage of scripture is receiving Jesus today, his word, him, do you hear, know and do you understand? Know that he is the son of God. Here is my beloved son. Hear him. Here is my beloved son. In him I am well pleased. Understand, he died on a cross for you and me. He took a curse, a painful death, and he died on the cross for you and me and he rose on the third day and he is seated at the right hand of God today and everything is under his feet. And that's the significance of John seeing him before he went on that cross, transfigured partly, yet extremely scared of what he saw. But after Jesus went on that cross and three days after he rose, and then he goes and sits at the right hand of God and then he sees Jesus in his resurrected form, his victorious form, oh, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And now I want to tell you this morning everything is under his feet, everything is under his feet, anything and everything is under his feet. And if you are wondering this morning, what is this? 30, 60 and 100 fold, what sort of life am I living on this planet? What sort of fruit am I bearing for my life on this planet? I'm asking you this morning and I'm leaving you with this he who received the seed on good soil is he who hears the word and understands it, and then he bears fruit and produces Hallelujah. I want to tell you, jesus walked on water. He called out and he said come to the boat that had 12 disciples and only one stepped out and walked on water. He called out and he said come to the boat. I had 12 disciples and only one stepped out and walked on water. I want to tell you receive Jesus this morning.
Speaker 1:And the multitude of multiplication and whether you live in a 30, 60 or 100 depends on you. You have to have that kind of faith. What kind of faith do you operate on? What kind of dependency do you have on Jesus? Is it 30, 60 or 100? Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And, as I said, don't take anything that I am saying to you this morning, because I am just only human. You take it from the word of God that I am sharing it to you from. Peter walked on water. I told you, when Jesus called him, shadrach, meshach and Abednego, when they were persecuted by the king and thrown into a furnace, jesus walked in the furnace with them. Oh hallelujah. Joshua spoke to the sun and he made it stand still in a valley and then he looked at the moon and he said you also stand still.
Speaker 1:What kind of fate do you operate in? 30, 60 or 100? I know what kind of fate these people operated in. And then you can ask yourself and you will know and see and be radiant and put your chest out and say I trust in Jesus 100% and you will see yourself live in a hundredfold blessing. Hear him. God said there were only three disciples there and it will be good soil for maybe only a few of you this morning. I am not sure, but the fate you operate in on this planet will define the fold of blessing that you live in, hear Him.
Speaker 1:And Jesus says he who receives seed on good ground is he who hears the word and understands it will bear fruit.
Speaker 1:Today, shut that door and if you don't know who Jesus is, ask him to come and talk to you and he will. Today, if you don't understand what he has done on that cross for you, pick up the bible and read it and you will understand. Today, shut that door and call out his name and pray to him. Stand and believe that you have received it and you shall, whatever you do, understand very clearly that Jesus is the son of God. He came on this planet for you and me. He spread the good news. He spread the good news. He spread the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven, he spread the good news of knowing Him. And then he took up a curse of dying on a cross for you and me and then, on the third day, he rose and today he is seated at the right hand of God. And the book of Revelation, from which I shared with you this morning, you can see, you can go and read it and see him in his current form and hallelujah, depending on how much faith you put in his name, his word and in him and how many things you leave at his feet. Depending on that proportion is the proportion you will live and see on this planet.
Speaker 1:Hallelujah, dear Lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you for your double-edged sword, lord, that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. Lord, I thank you, lord, for some people have seen you this morning. I thank you, lord, for some people are experiencing you right now. I thank you, lord, that some people are going to experience you.
Speaker 1:I thank you, lord, for what you did on that cross for us. Lord, your body was broken, your blood was shed. You were obedient to death, and death on a cross just for us, lord. I thank you, lord. This, this beautiful day, this beautiful morning, you're turning some of us in good soil. Lord, that your word will bear fruit in us. A hundredfold, lord. Oh, thank you, lord. Oh, hallelujah. Thank you for the beautiful miracles you are releasing amongst your people, lord, thank you for the beautiful miracles you are releasing Even amongst people who are coming to you for the first time. Oh, hallelujah, thank you for your beautiful presence. Thank you for your beautiful countenance. Thank you for your beautiful presence. Thank you for your beautiful countenance. Thank you for everything, lord. We join in the heavenly host and say Holy, holy, holy Lord, god Almighty, who was and is and is to come. Our glory and honor to your name, lord, thank Lord, thank you. In Jesus name, I pray.
