Speaker 1:

I want to get right into the word of God this morning and before I do that, I want to tell you this is for somebody, I don't know who, and this is all that I have to share with you. Salvation has entered your home today. Praise God for that. If salvation has entered your home today, that means Jesus is with you right now, and praise God for that. Oh, hallelujah. And today, hallelujah, enjoy his presence, presence. You know who you are and today I want to start. Today, I want to start with a book written by Solomon. I want to tell you today I'm going to take my time on this word and I want to start with a book written by Solomon. And, for those of you who don't know, he was King David's son and he was known for having wisdom not known. The Bible says that he was wiser than all men on earth. Wow, he must have had some next level wisdom. The Bible says that he was wiser than all men on earth. So he definitely had some brilliant, brilliant wisdom. And the Bible also says that he spoke 3,000 proverbs and he spoke. His songs were 1,005. It's in the Bible. And he spoke to animals He5. It's in the Bible. And he spoke to animals. He spoke about animals and birds and creeping things and fish, the Bible says, which means he basically spoke of sciences, and the Bible says that men, even from the kings of the earth, came from afar just to hear from the wisdom of Solomon. Oh, oh, wow, hallelujah. I also want to tell you that Solomon was the same man who built a temple of gold for the Lord. He built a temple of gold for the Lord and if you think it's a small one, by one temple no, it was not. You can go and look for it in the Bible. It was a huge temple that he built for God and he laid it with the best cedars and the best wood and everything else was overlaid after that by gold. Oh, hallelujah. And I want to start with his book, and I'm going straight into the book. It's the book of Ecclesiastes, the third chapter, the first verse there is an appointed time for everything. Listen to me, people of the Most High there is an appointed time for everything and there is a time for every event under heaven. Hallelujah. Ecclesiastes 3.1, a book from King Solomon. What a beautiful passage of scripture coming from the man who had the greatest wisdom on all the earth. And this means God had appointed a time. This means God has appointed Not past tense, but present and present, continuous. The way I like to add to it. That means Jesus, god has appointed a time for everything, hallelujah, hallelujah. Every event under heaven, that means every event on this earth, is planned by God. Do not miss it. Do not miss it, hallelujah. And then the rest of the chapter, the third chapter of Ecclesiastes, shows clearly the meaning of there being a time for everything, and I'm just going to read it for you, and I'd like you to mark it down and use it at a time when you need to meditate on the word of God, and I'm just reading it for you this morning A time to give birth and a time to die.

Speaker 1:

A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost. A time to keep, a time to throw away, a time to tear apart, a time to sew together, a time to be silent and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart, a time to sew together, a time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace. Oh, hallelujah, what a beautiful, powerful passage of scripture and if you meditate on it you will realize it encompasses your life on this planet. But under the law of god, it is planned and there is an appointed time for everything. Oh, hallelujah, what a beautiful passage of scripture and some of you can feel god's presence this morning. Praise God for that. Hallelujah, hallelujah. And related to this passage of scripture this morning, to timing under heaven, I want to share a story with you from the time in the life of a king called Ahasuerus, a time in the life of King Ahasuerus.

Speaker 1:

A time in the life of King Ahasuerus, and most of you will say I've never heard this name before, and some of you might have heard this name before. It doesn't matter, I'm going to share the story with you, but the story is about the king and the book of Esther, and I'm just going to quickly tell you this entire story of how it pans out. I want to tell you that Esther the Bible documents had lost both her parents at an early age and was raised by an uncle whose name was Mordecai. And to cut a very long story short, as I said, king Ahasuerus is looking for a new queen and there's a long process and a protocol that is followed and all the suitors in the land are collected and there's a long process. As I said, I'm not getting into it and Esther finds favor and kindness with the king the Bible says and she becomes queen of the land and the king throws a great banquet in her name when he makes her the queen.

Speaker 1:

Now, one day some of the king's officials get angry with the king and plot against him and Mordecai, the queen's uncle, gets to know about it and goes and tells or passes a message through Queen Esther to the king and saves the king's life. And of course it goes on to say that the men were hung and King Ahasuerus had liked to chronicle everything and he would always get the people to document in the book of Chronicles. He had a book of Chronicles and so he gets this event chronicled. He gets the people hung and he gets this event chronicled in his books in the presence of the king. It's documented now, and I also want to tell you that a man by the name of Haman gets appointed as authority over everything under the king. At the same time, I want to tell you that everyone bowed to Haman except for Mordecai, and Haman doesn't like it. And the Bible just mentions that everyone used to bow to Haman except for Mordecai. He just never bowed to him and Haman doesn't like it.

Speaker 1:

Basically, this is just a story of pride. Just because Mordecai did not bow down to Haman, he just doesn't like him, and Haman gets filled with rage, as everyone used to bow to him except for Mordecai, and Mordecai was a Jew. And Haman finds out, and now he seeks to destroy the entire Jewish race in the land that is of King Ahasuerus, which is ridiculous, ridiculous, but that's what a pride of a man can do. And I want to tell you this is a good time to add that Esther, too, was a Jew, and this was kept from the king, as Mordecai himself had earlier told her to keep it a secret. Let me tell you, the king didn't have anything against Jews, so I don't know why Mordecai never told the king, but it's just, it's in the Bible. So I'm letting you know, and Esther, the third chapter, the eighth and the ninth verse, and I'm reading to you from the word of God.

Speaker 1:

Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus there is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom. Their laws are different from those of all other and they do not observe the king's laws. So it is not in the king's interest to let them remain. If it is pleasing to the king, let it be decreed that they be destroyed, and I will pay 10,000 talents of silver into the hands of those who carry out the king's business, to put into the king's treasuries. So you see, he gets the king to agree, and the king puts his signet ring on it as a seal.

Speaker 1:

And remember the chronicles I told you about. This too is chronicled, and he passes it across the land that all the Jews are to be killed and annihilated, both young and old, women and children too, on the 13th day of the 12th month. It's as precise as that. So now, on the 13th day of the 12th month, every Jew, as plotted by Haman, every Jew in the land of King Ahasuerus is going to be killed. What a nasty guy this man is. He wants to wipe out the entire race Just because Mordecai didn't bow to him and he's Jewish. That's it Going ahead.

Speaker 1:

When the news starts to spread about this horrible decree within the land of King Ahasuerus, there is great mourning in the land and there's weeping and wailing and fasting. The Bible says of course the Jews now are fearing their lives and the decree is already passed as of the 13th day of the 12th month. They're all going to be killed. And of course Esther does not know any of this because now she's the queen and the queen. You know they had a different life, they used to have their own quarters and you know they used to be summoned to the king. The rest of the time they would be doing their own thing. So she has no clue that this decree has been passed. She has no idea. She only gets to know that Mordekai is wailing and weeping at the gates of the king Wearing sackcloth and ash. And as the law of the king was, you could not enter the gate wearing sackcloth and ash. So he's outside and he's screaming out loudly.

Speaker 1:

So Esther gets to know, and she sends an attendant that the king had appointed to her His name is Hatak or Hatach that the king had appointed to her his name is Hatak or Hatach to find out what has happened with Mordecai. And now there's this to and fro happening between Mordecai, queen Esther and Hatak, who's being the messenger in the middle. And Mordecai gives him a copy of the edict that has been passed the decree to take back to show Esther that this is what the king has passed as a law. And he orders her to go out to the king and implore his favor and to plead with him for her people. So Hatha goes back favor and to plead with him for her people. So Hatha goes back and relates the words of Mordecai to Esther and Esther sends a message back saying that no one could go to the court of the king unless they are summoned. And she goes on to say in the Bible documents that she was not called to meet the king for another 30 days. And in case you want to do it which means you want to go to the king's court if he raises the golden scepter that's in his hand, you are allowed to speak and if not, you are put to death. That was the law. That's a harsh one. Put to death. That was the law. That's a harsh one.

Speaker 1:

And then Mordecai sends message back that the decree would not pass away from anyone, not even the people in the palace. Basically, he's reminding her you are a Jew as well. Don't forget that. It will not pass over anyone. It's for everyone in the land and it's for her too, as she's a Jew.

Speaker 1:

And then I'm reading to you from the word of God now, esther, the fourth chapter, the fourteenth verse. And listen to this people. This is for you this morning, for if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows? But do you have not attained royalty for such a time as this? Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, oh Hallelujah, oh Hallelujah. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have been attained royalty for such a time as this? Hard hitting Hallelujah. What a statement from Mordecai to the Queen, to Queen Esther. If you remain silent now and look at his confidence, relief and deliverance will come from elsewhere for the chosen of God and your family name will perish. What if you are where you are, as just for a time such as this, oh hallelujah, mark it down.

Speaker 1:

Esther 4, chapter 14, verse. Mark it down and meditate on it, and let me tell you how this ends. This passage of scripture is a powerful one, and who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this. She was just a regular person from a regular family, and she's a queen, and he's telling her what if you are the queen? Just for this time, for a time like this, oh hallelujah, let me tell you how it ends.

Speaker 1:

Esa asked Mordecai, through Hatak, to tell all the Jews of the land to fast for her for three days, that everyone has to fast with no water and no food. No water and no food. And she would go to the king. And she even says if my life is done, then my life is done. And she prepares a banquet for him. And, just as the word of God when I started this morning, there is a timing and a banquet for him. And, just as the word of God when I started this morning, there is a timing and a time for everything, and I want to tell you. It just pans out for Esther, mordecai and the Jews. The timing of everything after that is just impeccable. It's impeccable because it's under heaven and everything that is under heaven is impeccable because it is made by the Creator. Every timing is impeccable under the Creator and I do not have enough time to tell you how it pans out and I'd like you to take some time and read it from Esther, the 6th and 7th chapter. Go and read it. But, oh my, the timing of the Most High.

Speaker 1:

The king is deprived of sleep. He's just deprived of sleep that night and he calls for the chronicles. He tells the people, get the chronicles to me, read them to me. I'm not getting sleep. And Mordecai's name comes up and how he saved the king's life. And then Mordecai is honoured by the king and Haman loses favour with the king and is hung on the very same gallows he made for Mordecai. And wait for it. Mordecai, who was about to lose his life along with each and every Jew in the land of King Ahasuerus, is promoted to the position of Haman and a decree is chronicled against the decree that was passed before and a decree is chronicled against the decree that was passed before that was turned on its head and all the Jews were now given authority, sealed by the signet ring of the king, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And, as I said, go and read Esther, the 6th and 7th chapter, to know the timing of these events and how it changes for a man, a queen and an entire race that was about to be destroyed completely to a complete 360. Under the heaven, with the timing of the Most High, hallelujah. And this morning, now that you've understood this beautiful story about timing and what, if you've just been placed there for this particular timing, I'm leaving you with the scripture from the most high, when he was on this planet, and I'm going to stir your spirit this morning, but that's what I have been placed here to do. You are the salt of the earth. Matthew, the 5th chapter, the 13th and the 14th verse, says you are the salt of the earth, you are the light of the world.

Speaker 1:

A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. You are salt of the earth and you are light to the land. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. For if you remain silent at this time, I will tell you the chosen are chosen and somebody else will sow and somebody else will sow and somebody else will reap, under the timing of the Most High. And who knows whether you have not attained this place, this time, this position, this job, this friendship, this relationship, this co-worker, this royalty where you are and where you began from, for a time such as this, oh Hallelujah. This, oh hallelujah. I know this is deep, and that's what I have been sent here for this beautiful morning the message from the Most High, the timing of the Most High. If it stirred your spirit, then so be it.

Speaker 1:

But you are salt to the earth, and Jesus even goes on to say if the salt loses its saltiness, what use is it? It will be thrown and trampled upon, just as the same way that Mordecai told Esther, your family name will be destroyed. You have a name, probably because, for this time, jesus is the son of God. He gave up his life on a cross for you and me. He rose on the third day. He's seated at the right hand of God this morning, and he's seated there, and he's also with you at your right hand this beautiful morning. He is alive and that's the good news for you to share.

Speaker 1:

And this beautiful morning, take some time, sit down, mark all these verses in your Bible, in your apps, whatever it is that you use, and take some time and meditate on it and go and tell someone about Jesus. Go and tell someone what he has done for them. They are chosen. It's your job to go and do it. You don't know how to do it. Go and share this link with someone. Let them come here and hear it from the word of God. But that's your job. And what if you were not appointed on this planet with this job and this surrounding for a time such as this, that you go and tell someone about the most high and you go and preach the good news that Jesus came on this planet for your salt and light to the earth? A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. The choice is yours. Oh, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, lord, for this beautiful time. Thank you, lord, lord, for your beautiful presence. Thank you, lord, for being obedient to death and death on a cross only for us, lord. We give you glory and honor, lord, that you came down on this planet just for us. That anyone, anyone who puts their faith in your name, will have life everlasting, lord, and become your child. So thank you, lord, for this beautiful time. Thank you, lord, that you are right now seated with someone and they can feel your presence. What a beautiful, awesome week, day, month, year you are going to have in the presence of the Most High that he has chosen to come and visit you today. Thank you for this beautiful time, lord. Change our hearts, o Lord. Make it ever true. Change our hearts, o Lord, make it ever true. Change our hearts, o Lord. Let us do what you have called us to do on this planet. We join in the angels, lord, and sing holy, holy, holy Lord, god Almighty, who was and is and is to come. Alleluia In Jesus' name. I pray, amen.
