Speaker 1:

I want to start by telling you that the Bible says this is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it, hallelujah. It is the day that he has made for us, and I want to tell you that. I want to talk about a very special topic today and I want to tell you it's a secret and, uh, you can use it. God has given us many, many things for our life on this planet. He's given us secret weapons and this is one of those and I'm so happy to, I'm so excited actually to reveal this this beautiful morning. Something very easy to do, but yet I feel that we don't do enough of it. It's something and if you do, I mean praise God for that and well done to you. But I want to tell you it's about giving thanks, giving thanks to God and, as I said, if you do, well done to you, because I feel there's more than enough for you to thank God for every day more and more, for you to thank God for every day more and more. And the Bible says and I'm going straight into it from Psalm 107, the first verse it says oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good and his mercy endures forever, hallelujah. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good and his mercy endures forever. The bible, in the book of lamentation, says that his mercies are new every morning. Oh hallelujah, his mercies and grace towards us are new every morning. The bible says his compassion never fails, hallelujah and I'll come back to this word, compassion and, as I said, his mercies are new every morning. The bible says his grace is new every morning. There are things that happen for you and me every day that you probably don't even know of because it's not, it's not in your face or it's not written somewhere for you to read. But the bible says every morning and his compassion never fails, hallelujah. And today I want to tell you about how important it is to thank god, and I told you, I'm going to tell you that this is a secret, and I cannot emphasize enough to tell you how important it is to thank God as often as you can, as often as you can. I will give you enough of examples today from the word of God on how important it is to thank God, and I'll tell you I'm going to start with the best example of all. There is no better example that I can share with you and that's of Jesus. When he was, he was on this planet and I want to tell you Jesus, a good Shepherd, a beautiful Savior, the sinless Lamb of God, the only begotten of the Most High, even he, when he was on this planet, gave the son of God, gave thanks to the father when he was on this planet, and that just tells us enough, doesn't it? Doesn't it just tell you that if God sent down his son Jesus, and Jesus was constantly thanking God when he was on this planet it's a secret for you and me, and I'm going to start directly. Planet. It's a secret for you and me, and I'm going to start directly.

Speaker 1:

Remember, there was this time the bible says but this time when jesus feeds 5 000, and the bible says there were 5 000 people that were following him, and some of you know the story, some of you don't, and for those of you who do, I think you know that there was this time when he fed 5,000 with five loaves and two fish, and the Bible goes on to say oh, here's the word again compassion. The Bible says he had compassion on them. Lamentation says his compassions never fail us, hallelujah. Multiple compassions never fail us Hallelujah. So the Bible says he has compassion on them and he asks his disciples, or rather he tells his disciples they need not go from here. So what do you have? So the Bible says that he is with them and they are with him and there are000 in count.

Speaker 1:

And the Bible says he looks at his disciples and basically the chat is about why don't we feed these people? Because he's had compassion on them and he's God. He probably knows they're hungry, but they're here because they want, they're seeking God and they're seeking him, hallelujah. And then he tells his disciples they don't need to go from here because the conversation is going on and that is where will we feed so many people from? We are in the middle of nothing.

Speaker 1:

So Jesus says they don't need to go from here. What do you have? He asked the disciples, excuse me. And the disciples say we only have five loaves and two fish. And Jesus says bring them here to me. Oh, hallelujah, we have only five loaves and two fish. And Jesus says bring them here to me and listen to this from the book of Matthew, the 14th chapter, the 19th verse bring them here to me. He listen to this from the book of Matthew, the 14th chapter, the 19th verse, bring them here to me.

Speaker 1:

He said, ordering the people to sit down on the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking up toward heaven, heaven, he blessed the food and, breaking the loaves, he gave them to disciples. And the disciples gave them to the crowds. Oh, hallelujah. Bible says he made them sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish. He looked up towards heaven. He blessed the fool and he broke the loaves and he gave it to the disciples to give down to the crowds. Hallelujah, jesus looked up to the heavens and he gave thanks. Hallelujah, hallelujah. He had five loaves and two fish. He took it in his hand, he looked up into the heavens, he gave thanks and he broke it and he gave it to his disciples. And you know what. Most of us know how this ends in some. I mean, in case you didn't Bible says that they all ate, the whole crowd ate, and they picked up 12 baskets full of leftovers. The bible says, documented by matthew, matthew was a tax collector. I don't think he would have gone wrong with the calculations 12 baskets full of leftovers. It doesn't say bread or fish, it just says leftovers, hallelujah, wait, wait.

Speaker 1:

There's another time, immediately after this, that the bible says that jesus fed 4 000 people. And this time let me give you a background. The bible says that jesus has left that place and now he's going along the sea of galilee and he reaches a mountain and he climbs up on the mountain and he sits and the crowds are just following him. You can only imagine, or you can only imagine, if jesus was this planet, what would have been happening. And anyway, the Bible says that he goes along the Sea of Galilee and he climbs up a mountain and he sits there. And the Bible says that the crowds have been following him. And listen to this, listen to this.

Speaker 1:

The crowd brought to him lame, crippled. I mean, it's in the Bible, I'm just sharing it with you. They brought to him the lame, the crippled, blind, mute and many others. They just laid them at his feet and the Bible says the crowd marveled as they saw the mute speaking Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. The crippled restored, the lame walking and the blind seeing, and they gave glory to God. Hallelujah, what a time, hallelujah, what a time.

Speaker 1:

And yet again the word here again, and this is matthew, it's. The earlier example was the 14th verse. The next one is the 15th verse and it says jesus has compassion on the crowds. Remember lamentations, compassions are new. Every morning, multiple hallelujah. Jesus had compassion on the crowd. And he tells his disciples and I'm quoting you they have been with me three days and I've had and have nothing to eat. Wow, it's the words of Jesus. You can check it. It's in the book of Matthew, the 15th chapter. They have been with me three days and have nothing to eat.

Speaker 1:

And the disciples, seeing what is happening, even after they saw what happened I don't know how many days or how many hours apart, the earlier miracle was, even though that happened, the feeding of 5,000 and the 12 baskets full being collected. They turned to Jesus and they say where will we go, lord? We are in the middle of nowhere. That's okay, it's fine, they're human. Where will we go to get crowds of any food? And yet again, jesus asked him how many loaves do you have any food? And yet again Jesus asked him how many loaves do you have? And they said seven loaves and a few small fish. And Jesus again directs the people to sit down on the ground Hallelujah. I think there might have been some overlaps of people who were there from the first miracle. I'm sure Maybe there were a whole new set of crowd this time, but nevertheless, againesus asks his disciples what do you have? And they say seven loaves and a few small fish. And jesus directs the people to sit on the ground. The bible says he waves him with his hand to sit on the ground. Hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

And from matthew, the 15th chapter, the 36th verse onwards and I'm reading it to you 15, 36 is and he took the seven loaves and the fish and, giving thanks, hallelujah, he broke them and started giving it to his disciples. Yet again, the same thing. And the disciples gave them to the people. Hallelujah. Jesus takes the seven loaves and a few fish and, giving thanks, he breaks them and starts giving it to his disciples, hallelujah. And the bible says they ate, they all ate and were satisfied, and the count were 4000, not counting the women and children. The bible says and they picked up wait for it. Leftovers seven large baskets full, hallelujah. From the same book of Matthew, the same tax collector. Seven large baskets full Hallelujah, from the same book of Matthew, the same tax collector. Who knows what he's talking about? Hallelujah, I want to tell you.

Speaker 1:

Jesus gave thanks for what he had before, he performs the best miracle of all time and that's multiplication. Hallelujah twice over, not once. But I want to bring to your attention this morning that the creator of heaven and earth, when he came down to this planet, he looks up to the heavens and he gives thanks for what he has and then brings multiplication. Jesus thanked God before handing out the loaves and the fish to his disciples. And wait if that's not enough. Jesus gave thanks before the last supper. I read it to you this morning from the book of Matthew.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says thanking God before giving his disciples the bread and the cup, significant to what we do even till this date, even this morning, as often as we do it in remembrance of him. Hallelujah, I thank you, lord. He said for the bread and the cup, hallelujah. I want to tell you there are multiple times in the Bible when Jesus gives thanks to God for revealing spiritual truths to the crowds and to the disciples, because you would have probably seen spiritually that people were understanding what he's speaking. Jesus spoke in parables and there are times when he gives thanks to God. There are multiple times when Jesus gives thanks for his disciples, in response to prayers being answered, answered for times when miracles happen in public, with crowds are all around.

Speaker 1:

To be honest, I just don't have time to get into all of them one by one, but he kept giving thanks and there's one example I want to share with you. Wait, I cannot leave this one out, it's the ultimate one. It's the ultimate one and some of you know it and some of you don't, and I want to tell you Jesus had a friend. His name was Lazarus. The Bible says and yes, I'm talking to you about bringing the dead back to life Jesus had a friend, and that says so much about his human side. He had a friend, and that says so much about his, his human side. He had a friend. Do you know the shortest word, the shortest verse in the Bible is Jesus wept. It's two words. It's when he found out that his friend was dead and he wept. The Bible says Jesus wept for a friend. You think he doesn't know what you go through. You're wrong, hallelujah, you're his child. So anyway, coming back to this Jesus, he has a friend whose name is Lazarus and the bible says he gets the news. He's in another place and he gets the news that his friend Lazarus has died out of an illness and Jesus decides to go to the place where Lazarus's body is kept and the Bible says the body was kept and laid in a tomb. Lazarus is dead and gone. He's already gone Because when Jesus gets the news about his friend being dead, he's in another place and he immediately leaves from that place to go to where Lazarus is.

Speaker 1:

And the Bible says when he reaches there, there Lazarus is already in the tomb. And to cut a very long story short, the Bible says Lazarus' sister comes to him and says Lord, where have you been? And he says well, I am here. Listen to this, listen to this. Jesus goes to the tomb and he tells the crowds actually, he tells the people there and his disciples remove the stone, hallelujah. He says remove the stone, hallelujah, oh, hallelujah, hallelujah, remove the stone. He says so Jesus has gone to the tomb where Lazarus is kept and he stands there and he tells his disciples and the sisters and the crowd he just speaks it out remove the stone. So the tomb had a stone covering it and the Bible says Lazarus' sister comes to him and says Lord, there will be a stench. He has been dead four days. Wow, and anyway, remove the stone is all he said, he didn't respond to it. Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God? Oh, hallelujah, remove the stone. And Martha says Lord, there will be a stench. She has been dead four days. Lord, did I not say to you, martha, if you believe, you will see the glory of God, if you believe, hallelujah. And from John 11, chapter 40.

Speaker 1:

First verse so they removed the stone and then Jesus raised his eyes and said Father, I thank you that you have heard me. Oh, hallelujah, he's thanking him before he's even released the word. I know, I knew I'm sorry. I knew that you always hear me, hallelujah, but because of the people standing around, I said it hallelujah, so that they may believe that you have sent me. Oh, hallelujah, ielujah, I told you giving thanks. Oh, lord, father, I thank you that you've already heard me. I knew that you always hear me. I knew it's past tense, it's not even present continuous. I knew that you always hear me. But just for the crowds I'm saying it Isn't that more than enough a giveaway for you and me when Jesus was on this planet? He's letting everyone know that I'm giving thanks. I know you hear me. I've always known that you've heard me, but just because the crowds around you, I'm giving you thanks, oh hallelujah. And Jesus gives thanks. And Jesus gives thanks.

Speaker 1:

And when, doing the most unheard thing ever until that time is bringing his friend, who's dead for four days, back to life. And how did it all begin? By giving thanks, hallelujah? By the way, just to let you know, jesus stands in front of the tomb and he says lazarus, come forth. Because if he said come forth, I think everything would have come out in whatever form they were left or whatever leftovers were left of them in that tomb, because lazarus was already dead four days. He says lazarus, come forth. He was specific because he knew. And let me tell you, lazarus, the Bible says, comes out With wrappings in his body, in his face, with cloth, and Jesus says unbind him and let him go. Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I want to tell you this morning that Jesus gave thanks Before he multiplied things, that Jesus gave thanks before he multiplied things. Jesus gave thanks to God before miracles were performed. Jesus gave thanks to God when secrets were revealed. Jesus gave thanks to God even when he did the impossible, that is, bringing the dead to life. And I want to tell you this morning. Don't think that he did it for himself. Of course he did it for himself, but in this last scripture he's making it very clear to you and me that he's doing it, that he may make a spectacle for everyone who's around, for you and me. And I want to give you this beautiful scripture today from the book of Philippians, the fourth chapter, the sixth verse onwards Be anxious for nothing.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says Philippians 4, 6, be anxious for nothing, but in everything, in everything, oh, hallelujah, in everything, with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Hallelujah, be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God, hallelujah. Today, this morning, the bible, the word of god yeshua, is telling you and me don't be anxious about anything, but in everything, anything that you do, whatever it might be, because it says everything with prayer and supplication. Just in case you didn't know what a supplication, the bible says it's asking earnestly of god. You know, sometimes you, you get to that space where you need to get out on your knees and it's that deep, deep request of god. Sometimes it even makes you cry when you're when you're asking or you know, you know those. It's a time when you're actually begging of god. It's even one of those times. Supplication that's what it is is it's asking earnestly. We've all done this, you know. Put your head between your legs and go down on the ground and deeply ask God. That's what he's telling you. And then he's saying, with thanksgiving, everything that Jesus did. You know what he started with thanksgiving. Lord, I give you thanks, oh, father, I give you thanks, oh Father. I thank you that you can hear me. Oh, by the way, I've already knew, I've always known, that you can hear me. Hallelujah, give thanks to the Most High. Get on your knees and thank God. This beautiful morning, I've shared one of the best secrets in the Bible with you this beautiful morning, and when you want the ultimate breakthrough, the ultimate breakthrough, I'm telling you this beautiful morning, through the word of God and all these examples that I've shared from when the sun was on this planet lift your hands up, go down on your knees and thank God first, before you ask him for anything, because then he says, be anxious for nothing, but in everything, with prayer and supplication and thanksgiving. So make your list. Seek honestly of god and thank him first. Hallelujah, hallelujah. And this is for, this is for you, it's it's for everyone, it's a blessing from the, from the word of god, when you make a thanksgiving, when you make thanksgiving the steer in your life. And I want to tell you, don't miss this passage of scripture. Mark it down and read it at a later time if you like, but I want to tell you that it's a blessing for you if you make thanksgiving your way in life.

Speaker 1:

It's Isaiah 65, the 17th verse. It goes on to say For behold, I created new heavens and a new earth. Hallelujah, for behold, I created new heavens and a new earth. For behold, I created new heavens and a new earth, and the former things will not be remembered or come to mind, but be glad and rejoice forever in what I create. For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing and her people for gladness. Oh, hallelujah, amen, you are his people. And just in case you didn't get the scripture, I told you take some time and meditate on it, but do it in your own time.

Speaker 1:

But in case you didn't didn't get the scripture, I want to tell you that jesus, after that cross, has created new heavens and a new earth for you and me and the former things do not exist. He says to you and me this morning don't remember them or even keep them in mind, leave it behind and be glad and rejoice. And, by the way, rejoicing is another form of giving thanks forever in what I create, which means give thanks for everything that he has created for you, given you. His mercies are new every morning. Thank him every morning for the things even you can't see and behold. I created Jerusalem for rejoicing. He has made you to rejoice.

Speaker 1:

Understand that this morning is not of course. Things happen in life and, yes, there's loss and there's decay, and that's what the planet is about. I'm not going to get into that. After what, adam and Eve? What happened with Adam and Eve on the planet After that? The planet is about rust and decay, but Jesus is not about that. I have created Jerusalem for rejoicing and her people for gladness.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, you've been made to sing and, by the way, in case you didn't know, you have been made for Thanksgiving and I will take you to the heavens and tell you. There's a throne room and there are thousands upon thousands upon thousands saying holy, holy, holy Lord, god Almighty, who was and is and is to come, and that's giving thanks to the creator of heaven and earth. Hallelujah, let's all stand up, let us pray hallelujah, the creator of heaven and earth. Hallelujah, let's all stand up, let us pray, hallelujah. Yeah, lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you for this double-edged sword, for your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for, lord. I thank you, lord, this beautiful morning.

Speaker 1:

I start with thanksgiving and giving you thanks for what you've done. On that cross, lord, you were beaten to death, and death on a cross only for us, lord. I thank you, lord, for your mercies that are new every morning. I thank you, lord, for your compassions that have no bounds towards us. Lord, I thank you, lord, for your love that you shower upon us every day. Lord, every day, new, every morning, fresh, every morning. Hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I thank you, lord, for this beautiful word.

Speaker 1:

I thank you that you've made us to rejoice.

Speaker 1:

I thank you, lord, for this beautiful word.

Speaker 1:

I thank you that you've made us to rejoice.

Speaker 1:

I thank you, lord, that today we will look around us and our heart will swell and know, lord, that it is only you who has brought us to this point, taken us out of our Egypt and brought us to the promised land, and you will take us further, lord.

Speaker 1:

I thank you, lord, that you take us to the promised land and you will take us further, lord. I thank you, lord, that you take us to the place only where you will lead. I thank you, lord. Your word says you will go ahead and make every crooked path straight, and I thank you, lord, that we will remember not the former things, because you have made a new jerusalem, you have made the new heavens and a new earth for us, and we will take control and we will rule it, and your word and your good news will be known to all, and I thank you, lord, for using us. I thank you, lord, for this beautiful day. I thank you for this beautiful time. I thank you, lord, for the presence that people can feel. Thank you, lord, that you will be with them through this entire week and they will know it is you and you alone. Thank you, lord, for this beautiful time. In Jesus' name, I pray Amen.
