SPEAKER_00:

Hallelujah. This is the best month of the year. I know for most of you, and for me personally for sure. And I want to tell you it's a time for celebration. It's a time for you know decorations everywhere and gifting and times of family and friends and planning dinners and traveling to people's homes, spending time together, time for friends and family. In some parts of the world, it's it snows. Over the globe, it's winter. The best season of the year for most. And it's a lovely time. And um what is the main reason for all this? I know you've probably heard this phrase in the past. And I'm going to use it this morning. What is the reason for the season? And I want to tell you the reason for the season is Jesus. It's Yeshua, the good shepherd, the month where Jesus was born. The month where Jesus came on this planet. And that's the reason for the season. And I want to tell you that this beautiful morning I'm going to go and take you straight back to the beginning, where in the book of Genesis it talks about creation. And it's beautifully written by Moses. The Bible in the book of Genesis talks about creation, as I said, where God created the Bible says heaven and earth. It says the heavens and the earth. And then it says that the earth was formless and void. And I'm reading to you from the word of God. You can read it from the book of Genesis, the first chapter. And the Bible says that darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. So the Bible says that all that there was was water. And then God said, Let there be light. And there was light. And from there on He created day and night. The heavens. I'm sorry, the heaven, and then dry land, and the seas, and vegetation, and plants, and seeds, and fruit. And from there came seasons, days, and years. And then he created fish and the sea and birds of the air and animals on the land and everything that creeps on the land. And then God made man and woman in his own image. Hallelujah. That's the book of creation. That's the book of Genesis, talking about creation in the beginning. And now I'm taking to you, taking you to a book in the New Testament, the book of John, written by Apostle John, revealed to him by God. And here too, it talks about the beginning. And I'm going to take you straight to it where John 1 1 says, In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. Now most of you know this passage of scripture. Some of you know it, some of you have read it. But today I'm gonna I'm gonna explain this passage of scripture to you and give you a clear understanding. In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God. So you see, Genesis talks about creation, and it says that the word was with God, and God spoke, and things happened, and the planet was created, and the word was with him, and then in the second verse it says, He was in the beginning with God. Hallelujah. Who is he? Who is the Bible referring to in John 1 2? I want to tell you who it is. He was in the beginning. He is Jesus. Jesus was in the beginning with God when creation was happening, watching creation, being creation. And don't take my word for it. See what the third verse says. All things came into being through him. And apart from him, nothing came into being that has come into being. Hallelujah. You know, some of you make notes, and maybe you can make note of 1 John 1 all the way down to 5, and you can go to the book of Genesis and you can read creation. It's in the first verse, and very clearly tells you the way God created everything on this planet, and on the seventh day he rested. And here 1 John 1 3 says, All things came into being through him, through Jesus. Everything that you know was made, that was come, that was came into being. I'm sorry, was through Jesus. Nothing that came into being is not through Jesus. Hallelujah. That's deep. And then the fourth verse says, In him was life, and the life was the light of men. Hallelujah. Another verse says, In him was life. The life was the light of mankind. Oh hallelujah. Mankind. I want to tell you this morning that Jesus is life. Jesus is light. Jesus is the light of men. He's the light of mankind. And then the fifth verse says the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Another version says the darkness did not grasp it. Another version says darkness has not overcome it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You should mark down John 1 until 5 and read it in your own time, meditate on it. And I want to tell you, the light that is Jesus shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not comprehend it. The darkness has not overcome it. That's present continuous for some of you who understand has not overcome it. I'd like to put it in another version, says, has not been able ever to overcome it. Hallelujah. That means from creation till now, Jesus is the light on this planet. Yes, scientifically speaking, the light is from the sun, but he is the light. He shines through the darkness. Darkness does not understand him. I want to give you another version. The darkness trembles and quivers at his presence. The darkness does not comprehend him. The darkness has not overcome him. Hallelujah. And in the past, I've shared this passage of scripture with you, and some of you know it, some of you don't. And it says Ephesians 6.12, it says that our battle is not against flesh and blood. A battle on this planet is not against flesh and blood. It's very easy to think that a battle is with the things that we see, it's it's with the things that we cannot see. In fact, Ephesians 6.12 says it's against rulers, it's against powers, it's it's against world forces of darkness, it's against spiritual forces of evil. Wow, that can really send a shiver down your spine, and that sounds really scary. But I'm not here to give you bad news, I'm here to give you good news, amazing news, in fact. The reason for this season, I want to tell you the deal that was struck between father and son, the decision that was made for you and me. And it was decided that the creator will come down and save us all. The creator will come down and become our light. John 6 51 says, I am the living bread that came down out of heaven. Hallelujah. If anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever. And the bread which I give for the life of the world also is my flesh. Hallelujah. I just want to tell you today is a bit deep, and I have a lot of scriptures to share with you. But as I said, I have good news for you this beautiful morning. And these are from the words of Jesus when he was on the planet documented by John. I am the living bread. There's nobody who can ever tell you that it is I come to me besides Jesus. Because he's one true only begotten, saying, I am the living bread that came down out of heaven. Hallelujah. If anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever. Hallelujah. And the bread that I give, I give for the life of the world. It is my flesh. The bread of life, Jesus. I told you, I just want to give you a perspective on who Jesus is this beautiful morning. It's the beginning of the month. He is the reason for this beautiful season. And I think sometimes it's important to understand who Jesus is. For some of you who've never heard his name before or you don't know who he is, I'm just giving you the tip of the iceberg, just to start. Hallelujah. And going ahead, I'd like to share with you from the book of Colossians. Colossians 1.13 says, For he rescued us from the domain of darkness, and we transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved son. Hallelujah. You see, I told you there was a decision made when God made the planet, he knew that we're gonna need help. He knew that there's this darkness that's gonna come in our way, in our path, and try to stop things from happening. There's this darkness that will come and try to take us into another path or another route. And he knew it. And he created man and woman. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning that God loves you. Jesus loves you. And I don't know anyone who will be willing to come down on this planet and put his or her life at stake for me. What a beautiful passage of scripture this is. For he rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved son. Hallelujah. I told you there was a decision made, it must have been a tough one between father and son. And the son decides that I will go down for my people. Because they need to be saved from the darkness. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning. If you put your faith in Jesus, the Bible says that you get transferred into this, the kingdom of the Father. Hallelujah. And again, don't take any of my word for it. Take it from the word of God. It's Colossians 1.13 and mark it down. Read it in your own time. And look at what Colossians 15 says, 1.15. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Hallelujah. Some of you, I want to tell you, are going to experience Jesus in this week. Some of you are going to get to see him. Hallelujah. Some of you will experience him for the first time. Hallelujah. Colossians 1:15 says he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Oh, hallelujah. That one is deep. So I told you that there was a hard decision to make, and the decision was made, and Jesus decides that he will come down on this planet. And the Bible says, anyone who puts their faith in Jesus will have eternal life. Anyone who puts their faith in Jesus will be transferred to the kingdom of God. You need to understand. I told you that this today's word is a bit deep. But if you understand, it's very simple. You know, the kingdom of God, you don't need to put too much of thought behind it. Just take it the way it is. The word of God, just take it the way it is. And Jesus came down on this planet, I want to tell you. And he gave up his life on a cross for you and me. And as I said, the reason for this season, December, is the month that he actually came down on this planet. And that's a word for another day. But today I just wanted to give you a glimpse of Jesus. Of why. Some of you might not know why why are you celebrating this beautiful month? Why did Jesus come down on the planet? Who is Jesus, even? For some of you who don't, you know today. And I came across this beautiful passage of scripture from the book of Revelation that just pieces everything together. And I want to tell you the Bible is just it's a love story between God and man. It's just a love story between God and man. And I want to tell you the Bible has secrets. And one secret is interlinked with another. And I want to tell you that one leads to another. And this is a beautiful passage of scripture. Revelations 19:13 says. Revelation 19:13 says he's clothed with a robe dipped in blood. And his name is called the Word of God. Hallelujah. Revelation 19:13 says he's clothed with a robe dipped in blood. And his name is called the Word of God. Hallelujah. Some of you are feeling the presence of Jesus. And I want to tell you, in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us. Jesus came down to this planet to save us. To save you and me. He came down on this planet that you and I will have a chance against the darkness. He came on this planet because he loves you. It was a hard decision, I'm sure. And he took the decision to come down for you and me. That anyone, the Bible says, anyone who puts their faith in him will have eternal life and will not perish. And you will not perish because the darkness does not comprehend Jesus. And when you put your faith in Jesus, the darkness doesn't stand a chance for you, or with you, or alongside you, or try and come in your way on your life on this planet. And it's very simple, but you need to understand it that this beautiful morning, Jesus came down. That you and I will have a chance. That's it. But it's so see, it's so easy to go through life on this planet and not know Jesus. Maybe you've never been told about him. Maybe you heard him as one of the saviors amongst many. But no, let me reassure you this beautiful morning. He's the only begotten, the son of the one true God, seated at the throne. His robe is dipped in blood, and he's called the Word of God. And he came down on this planet to give up his life on a cross for you and me. And anyone who puts their life, uh, who puts their faith in Jesus, in his name, Jesus will become their light. Jesus will become their fight against his darkness. Jesus will become your shepherd, he will become your guide, he will become your father. Hallelujah. And I want to leave you with these words, this beautiful morning, from the words of Jesus from the very same book. And I want to tell you, for those of you who don't know, it was the same apostle, it was John. You know, John refers to himself as Jesus' favorite disciple in the book of John. And I want to tell you that uh all the disciples of Jesus had a tough life, but they chose the light. And they were all put to death because of his name, but they chose the light. And I want to tell you that John must have known a lot of things because he had some fabulous revelations. And uh he was caught and he was put, just in case you didn't know this, he was put in a pot of oil, boiling pot of oil, as a death sentence, and nothing happened to him. And they got so freaked out, the authorities, that they picked him up and they put him at an island, the island of Patmos, where nobody would see him again. So nobody would have to explain why he go into a pot of boiling oil and come out alive, unharmed. Hallelujah. And when he was at the uh book of uh I'm sorry, at the island of Patmos, God comes to him, Jesus comes to him to give him the revelation. And that's how the book of Revelation is written. And I want to give it to you from the from the words of Jesus when he spoke. And this is for you, this beautiful morning. And then you will understand Jesus completely. Revelation 320 says, Behold, I stand at the door and I knock. If anyone, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with me. Hallelujah. Jesus speaking to John at the island of Patmos, the most powerful book ever was written. And in that he tells John, Behold, I stand at your door and I knock. And he's telling you and me this morning, and for some of you who don't know him or don't know him deep enough, behold, I stand at the door and knock. And if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him. And he with me. Hallelujah. Jesus wants to be part of your life this beautiful morning. And as I said, for some of you, might not be knowing him in a very deep level. For some of you, maybe you've known him and you've forgotten him. For some of you, maybe you've never heard of him. For some of you, you've experienced him and you've had a tough time, and now you've changed your focus from him. But today, I'm here to tell you that Jesus is telling you and me this morning. I stand at the door and I knock. If anyone hears my voice, the thing is you hear his voice. Are you willing to open that door? Jesus can break down that door if he wants, but he will not do it. He will wait for you to open that door for him. And you know there's another thing. Sometimes we have certain aspects of our life that we don't want God to enter. You can enter everything else, but you take care of my job, you take care of my business, you ensure it flourishes, but my relationship, Lord, you don't touch that one. That one's special to me. You stay out of that one. Well, if you don't allow the light into your aspects of life, then there's darkness. And I can't comment about the darkness. Because Jesus is the light. And let him enter every aspect of your life. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. Anyone who hears my voice opens the door. I will come into him and dine with him. This beautiful morning, make a decision to listen to Jesus and open that door. Open that door of every area of your life. Leave it all at his feet. He is the light. And when he enters your life and every aspect of your life, you will enter the kingdom of God. Go read Colossians 1:13, and you will understand what that passage of scripture means. He rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the kingdom of God. Hallelujah. Leave everything at his feet. He is the reason for this beautiful season. And I want to tell you this beautiful beginning of this wonderful month of the year. I know for most of you it's the most favorite one, even if you don't celebrate Christmas. I know it's your most favorite time of the year. And this beautiful day, open that door because he will call out to you. Some of you will experience Jesus this beautiful week. Open that door, let him come into your room, let him come into your life, let him come into you, let him dine with you. Another version says, I will sup with you, which means I will eat a meal with you. He will chill with you. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray. I thank you, Lord, for being faithful though we remain faithless. I thank you, Lord, for being obedient to death and death on a cross. Only for us, Lord, I give you glory and honor and praise this beautiful morning that you chose to come down on this planet for us. I thank you, Lord, that anyone who hears your voice, that they might open that door and that you will enter them and sup with them and dine with them. I thank you for your beautiful presence that people can feel. I thank you, Lord, that you're going to reveal yourself to some people. I thank you for watching over your word to perform it. I thank you for a double-edged sword that cuts through bone and marrow, soul and spirit to achieve what it has to Lord. And I thank you for this beautiful time, this beautiful beginning of this wonderful month. Where you have decided that you will come into people's lives, you will show and reveal yourself to them. They will hear your voice. Some of you are going to hear Jesus' voice. Hallelujah. Some of you will see him. Hallelujah. Some of you will experience him in a way you've never experienced him before. Hallelujah. Enjoy it. Be ready for it. He's saying to you and me this beautiful morning, I stand at the door and I knock. Anyone who hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into them and I thank you that you will hear his voice this beautiful week. Open that door. Leave everything at his feet. He is your master, he's your creator. He's the good shepherd who lay down his life for his sheep. Make a decision this beautiful day. To make him your shepherd.
