His Wonderful Plan
As the world gets ready to celebrate the birth of Christ, take a moment to reflect on how it was carefully and meticulously planned by God, long before Jesus’ arrival.
It reminds us that God’s timing, locations, and outcome planned is never accidental, but always intentional—even for us.
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
- Jeremiah 29:11 AMP

Last week we heard about the Good Shepherd, the only begotten Son of God, the light to mankind, the beautiful Savior, Jesus. The word of God was there in the beginning during creation, the life of the world, and everything was made through him, the light of mankind that shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend. The bread of life who came down from heaven just for you and me. He decided to come down to the earth just for you and me to rescue us from destruction and transfer us to the kingdom of God. So it was decided, I told you, many years ago, many, many years ago, that Jesus would come down on this planet and be part of his creation and give up his life on a cross for you and me. And I told you at the beginning of this month that this is December, and the reason for the season is Jesus, and we will start this month with Jesus, and we will end this month with Jesus. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you how this all began, how it all began, I'm sorry. You know, God revealed to many prophets the coming of his son. God revealed to many prophets the coming of the light. And that's what I want to start with uh today. And I'll tell you that God had, you know, earlier God used to work through prophets, he used to speak through prophets. And one of those wonderful prophets was Prophet Isaiah or Prophet Isaiah, whatever you'd like to call him. And I want to tell you that he wrote and prophesied some amazing things. If you ever get the chance, I know Isaiah is a very big book, it's got 66 chapters. But if you ever want to study, you can go and read the book of Isaiah, and it's it's got some wonderful prophecies. And to me, it's one of the most powerful and beautiful books in the Bible. And today I'm sharing with you from the book of Isaiah, where God revealed to the prophet the secret, the calling of his son. And I'm reading to you from the book of Isaiah, the seventh, chapter, the 14th verse, Isaiah 7:14, that says, Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign, and behold, a virgin will be with child, and will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call him Emmanuel. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Isaiah 7:14 calls out that the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, a virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name him Emmanuel. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you that this was a prophecy for Messiah to the uh to the king at the time who was king of Judah, whose name was Ahaz, by the way, and it was not a very good, it was not a very good time for Judah. It was a time when other people were forming coalitions to take over the place, and the king would be dethroned. And Isaiah was in that land at that time, and this is a it's a promise, a prophecy of hope for the king, saying that, and it starts with, therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Oh, hallelujah! A sign of hope, a sign given directly from God through Prophet Isaiah, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call his name Emmanuel. And Emmanuel, for those of you who don't know, means God with us. Hallelujah! And a prophecy of Isaiah to the king at the time, saying, God is with us, and God himself will give us that sign, giving hope to King Ahaz in Judah. A proof of God's presence and protection at a time which was a difficult time for him, his people, his kingdom, and the future of his people. And as I said, though the time was a difficult one, if that's not all, there's a second time where Isaiah gives another prophecy to the king, this king Ahaz, and that's from the book of Isaiah, the ninth chapter, the sixth verse, for a son, for a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us, and the government will rest upon his shoulders. Hallelujah! And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. And the seventh verse says, There will be no end to the increase of his government or of peace. Oh, hallelujah. What a wonderful, powerful passage of scripture. If the first one was not clear enough that God Himself is giving us a sign, oh Ahaz, King Ahaz, let me reassure you that his child will be born unto us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be upon his shoulder. I want to tell you that Isaiah is again reassuring Ahaz and Judah. Don't worry about these things that are happening around you at the moment. The government is planned by the creator of heaven and earth, and it will rest upon this child who is about to come, a son who is given to us and who will be born. And his name is wonderful counselor, mighty God, eternal father, prince of peace. And then it says there will be no end to the increase of his government or of peace. Hallelujah. Hope for the time for the people of Judah, hope for the time at that time to King Ahaz. And hope comes from the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords that God is calling out directly through the prophet. Hallelujah. For his government to end. Hallelujah. Or for his government to stall. The Bible says there will be no end to the increase of his government or of peace, which means God's kingdom will always increase. There will never be an end to it. Hallelujah. What a beautiful, beautiful prophecy, what a beautiful revelation given to Prophet Isaiah. Told you he was a powerful prophet, calling out things many years before they were about to happen, and giving, as I said, hope to the king at the time. And just to let you know, Isaiah himself was living in the land of Judah. And if that's not enough, there was another prophet who called, and I'm only going to share two of them because let me tell you, there are many, many prophets and many scriptures that called out the coming of the Most High, laying the path for the coming of the Son. And a similar prophecy was given to another prophet whose name was Micah. And let me tell you again, Micah was in Judah. And he prophesied about the savior coming again. Jesus is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Hallelujah. That was not in my notes. Micah 5, the fifth chapter, the second verse. I told you after Isaiah, our prophet Isaiah had prophesied about the coming of the son to King Ahaz. Let me tell you, Micah 2 is from Judah. He's also prophesying to the kings at the time. And let me tell you, there were multiple uh multiple kings after that, but Ahaz was also one of those kings. And he's calling out now the place where the child will be born. Micah 5, 2 says, But as for you, Bethlehem, Ephrata, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you. One will come forth. Hallelujah. For you, one will come forth to be the ruler in Israel. His time is coming forth. From long ago, from the days of eternity. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Prophet Micah is calling out Bethlehem, you Bethlehem, you small little city, too little a city, nothing amongst Judah, but from you become the ruler in Israel, and his going forths are from long ago, from the days of eternity. Oh hallelujah. I told you the last week we looked at Jesus being there during creation. And today, we're looking at a prophecy made by Prophet Micah many years ago, saying that from you, you little city called Bethlehem, none amongst the cities of Judah, the smallest probably of its kind. The ruler of Israel is coming forth from you. His goings are from long ago, from the days of eternity. Hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture. Jesus coming on the planet, I told you, was decided and sealed and called out from generation to generation, from people to people, through prophets, through scriptures released by prophets and other men of God. And I want to tell you that it was all planned. And you think it was a matter of chance? Do you think this was something that was unplanned? Let me give you a perspective. Look at the stars in the sky. Go read about the constellations, go read about the planet, go read about the solar system, go read about the distance between each planet, and what would happen if we were even one millimeter of a change from the distance. What would happen to the planets? Science will tell you that. Go read about what would happen if the temperature of the sun would even change by one small degree. Go read. And then you will know that there is nothing unplanned with God. Everything is planned. Hallelujah. And today I have a very simple message for you. And this is for some of you, maybe a lot of you need it. I'm not sure, but I'd like to start with this beautiful passage of scripture. And I'll tell you why. I told you this entire month is going to be dedicated to the beautiful reason for the season, which is Jesus. And this, the last week, we saw that He was there from the beginning and he has planned everything for you and me. And this beautiful week, I just want to share with you that Jesus was called out to come on this planet many years before he was about to come. The foundation was laid. It was told that he will come out of Bethlehem. The Prophet Micah, it was told a son will be born, the government will rest upon his shoulders through Prophet Isaiah. And I'll tell you why. This beautiful morning, through the words of Jesus Himself, when he was on this planet from John 3.16, and most of you know this passage of scripture by heart, and some of you need it this morning. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life. Hallelujah. John 3 16, most of you know it by heart. And for those of you who don't, I won't tell you that's the reason why. It's because Jesus loves you and me. It's because God loves you and me. And God so loved the world that He decided that He will send down His Son on this planet to take up a curse. And to be a curse, to die on a cross for you and me. I want to tell you this morning that God loves you. And if you have any other thoughts about it, or you have an influence right now in your life that is making you feel that you're not loved, I want to tell you that God loves you. And because of that, He sent His Son down on this planet. He delivered Him to die on a cross for you and me. And I want to tell you this beautiful day that you know the world will fill you with lies and deceit about yourself. Your friends and your family will tell you that you're not good enough, that you have flaws, and you have so many bad traits that are so difficult to live with. But I want to tell you, the Bible says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and God loves you. Jesus loves you. And the one from of old came down to this planet just for you and me. And let me reassure you this morning that even if it was just you on this planet, I am telling you he would come down for you, and he would yet give up his life on a cross for you if it was just one person and that's how much he loves you. And if you don't understand that this beautiful morning, what John 3 16 is trying to tell you and me, that's the reason why he came down. That's the reason why generations and generations and generations and generations have been saved through that perfect act of love. Hallelujah. He absolutely loves you, and don't be mistaken by that. And I want to tell you, and this is what I'm here to share, that the one who planned creation through perfection each day for six days, and rested on the seventh, I told you everything is part of a plan. The same one who decided and planned many, many years before his even coming, was called out as an act of love, and he came down on this planet for you and me. I want to tell you that same person, your father, the creator of heaven and earth, Almighty God, is here to tell you that he knows the plans he has for you. It's from Jeremiah 29, 11. Plans of peace and well-being, plans that are not of disaster to give you a future and a hope. Amen. Hallelujah. Just as was the time and just as was planned from eternity, that God and Jesus. Let me go, Father, I'll do it. I want to tell you that God is telling you and me today that since that time, the very beginning of creation, He has a plan for you and me. And just as God had a plan for mankind with hope through Jesus, God has a plan for you and me, and anyone who puts faith in his son Jesus hallelujah. A hope and a future. Jeremiah 29, 11. It's a beautiful passage of scripture, and you should read it, you should mark it down. For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for prosperity and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. Hallelujah. And that's what I have as a message for you this beautiful morning from the creator of heaven and earth, who has planned everything to perfection, who has planned the coming of the Messiah many, many, many years ago, before it was even about to happen, that he called it out from years through prophets, and that same creator of heaven and earth, the Bible says he is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. And that creator, this beautiful morning, is telling you and me, he knows the plans he has for you. Plans to prosper you, plans that are not to give you disaster, plans with a hope and a beautiful future. And just as he gave Judah hope, just as he gave King Ahaz hope, just as he gave mankind hope, through an ultimate plan, he's here. And this is the message for you this beautiful morning. Plans that are not for disaster, but for your well-being, for your hope, and for a future. Hallelujah. And I won't tell you this beautiful morning if you're feeling down and if you're feeling low, and if you're left all alone, going back to that beautiful passage of scripture, Jesus, the wonderful counselor, is with you. Hallelujah. If you have a health situation, let me tell you, mighty God is his name, and he will step into your situation. I wanna tell you if you have a financial situation or a crunch, maybe you're just looking down. A dead road, the everlasting father will change it for you. And if you're burdened with things of the world, your job situation, family situation, somebody dealing with a legal situation where you see no way out, I want to tell you the Prince of Peace will be with you today. Hallelujah. He's a wonderful counselor, he's a mighty God, everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. His kingdom shall have no end. And that creator is telling you that he knows the plans that he has for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans with a hope and a future. And that's why he came down on this planet. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray. Dear Lord, I thank you for this beautiful word. I thank you, Lord, for your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for, Lord. I thank you, Lord, for your word. That says, You know the plans that you have for us, Lord, plans to prosper us, not to harm us, plans that are not of disaster, but that which are offer hope and a future. And I thank you for those beautiful plans that you have for us that will unravel, Lord, for us. I thank you for most of us who have already lived our life through you and have seen part of those plans and are living those plans. And there's so much more to come because of your increase, because of your kingdom. There will always be an increase because of your plan. There will never be an end to your increase and through your peace. And of your peace, I'm sorry. Hallelujah. Thank you for this beautiful time. Thank you for this beautiful presence. Some people can feel. Thank you, Lord, most of all, that you loved us. Lord, you unconditionally love us, and I thank you, because of which you came down on this planet for us to give up your life on a cross for us. Thank you for this beautiful time. Thank you for this beautiful month. Thank you. For being faithful, though we remain faithless, Lord. Thank you for choosing us, Lord. Thank you that you are a wonderful counselor, Prince of Peace, beautiful savior, everlasting Father, our Redeemer and the lifter of our head. Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful time. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
