SPEAKER_00:

I'm going to start with wishing each and every one of you a Merry Christmas. Today is a beautiful day. It's the birth. It's the birth of Christ. It's the birth of Jesus. And uh He's our Savior. And it changes everything. So Merry Christmas to all of you and all your families. And hallelujah. I tell you, over the past few weeks, we've been covering this entire journey of the plan of Jesus and coming to the creation. From the history to the prophets who were aligned to call out his name and his coming. The city of his birth, to the choosing of the Virgin, to Mary, to the visit of the angel to share the good news. Everything was planned down to this beautiful day, the birth of Jesus. And I want to tell you, and I'm reading to you directly from the word of God from the book of Luke. The second chapter, the seventh verse says Luke, the second chapter, the seventh verse. It says, and she gave birth to her firstborn son, and she wrapped him in cloth and laid him in a manger because there was no room for him for them in the inn. I'll read it again for you. This is Luke, the second chapter, the seventh verse. And she gave birth to her firstborn son, and she wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn. I want to tell you that, as I said, over the past few weeks, starting this month of December, we have been looking at the calling of the Savior from prophets of old down to the city where he would be born, down to the person who was picked to do it. But when he comes on this planet, there is no room for them in the inn, and they have to make do with what they get. And the Bible says that Mary gives birth to her firstborn son, and she wraps him in what's available, and she lays him in a manger. I want to tell you the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords enters the planet, and there's no place for him. There are no clothes for him. He's brought into the planet and he's placed in a manger. Let me tell you what a manger is. A manger is a place where it's it's like an olden day. Uh, you can picture a large sort of a trough where animals used to feed out of. That's where he was placed. It was probably made of stone, maybe even wood. And today I want to share with you. Most of you know the story. Those of you who know Jesus know the birth and know what all happened, but very briefly, I want to share three aspects, three important aspects of the birth of the Christ, three important things that happened at this time, and then I want to share some good news with you. Of course, it's a beautiful day, and anyway, it's good news that Jesus was born. But today is something special, and I'm I'm going straight into it where Jesus was born, and the angel of the Lord, the Bible says, and again, I'm telling you the story from the book of Luke. You can read it, it's in the second chapter, you can read the whole chapter. The Bible says, the angel of the Lord stood before shepherds, and they were nearby Bethlehem at night, and they were tending their flock. And the Bible says the angel of the Lord came to them while they were tending flock, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. And the Bible says they were afraid, and the angel says, Don't be afraid. I bring you good tidings of great joy to all people. Hallelujah. And you should go back in time and picture these shepherds who have a visitation from an angel, and they're sitting there tending their flock, and now all of a sudden, there's this angel there telling them that the angel brings good tidings of great joy, and then the angel goes on to say, For that is for that is born to you today in the city of David, our Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Hallelujah. And then the angel goes on to tell the shepherds where they can find the baby. And the angel goes ahead and tells them that you will find the baby wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger, and that will be the sign. And just in case you didn't know, suddenly the Bible says there are multitudes of angels, and probably the heavens open up, and the the shepherds get to see multitudes of angels that are singing, glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace and goodwill towards men. Hallelujah. So you see, don't ask me why the angel visited the shepherds. I'm not here to tell you that. I told you I'm just here to share three aspects, and most of you already know the story of what happens when Jesus was born. But all I can tell you out of this is that it's a joyous time, even in heaven, the heavenly hosts are celebrating. The angels in multitudes are singing, and God wants to show people on the earth that the angels are celebrating the birth of a child on this planet in the city of Bethlehem, born in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clots, and that'll be the sign for anyone who's looking for the savior. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The second story I'd like to share with you is actually from the book of Matthew. It's not documented in the book of uh Luke, but in the book of Matthew, it talks about wise men from the east, and the Bible says that they were led by a star to the city Jerusalem. And the Bible says that the star came and it stood over the manger to let the wise men know that that's where the savior was born. And just to cut a very long story short, the the wise men who came from the east went to the king first to rejoice about this great news that they had got, and to tell them that the star has led them to this place, and they know that a savior has been born, and they've come to see that savior. And then, as it goes on, they follow the star, it stops over the manger, over the place actually, where Jesus is lying. And the Bible says they fall down and worship him, and they open their treasuries and they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and more. Just let me tell you that these were the most expensive pieces of material that were available on the planet at that time, and these wise men from the east come and they give an offering to God, an offering to the child, the baby that's born. Kings and royalty came to meet him and honor him with gifts meant for a king when he was just born. Hallelujah. And then, of course, there's a third layer which is the king of the land. His name is Herod. And he's deviously wanting to put an end to this beautifully planned day. The Bible says he's seeking to destroy this child. You know, there are lots of people who try to come in the way of God's plans. And as I said, there were three important aspects because most of you would have heard the story multiple times over. The angels celebrating in heaven, calling out the savior, to shepherds, the star leading the wise men from the east to where Jesus is born, and they offer the best they have gold, frankincense, and more gifts for a king set forth in front of the king, who is just a child. And then King Herod, the land, the king of the land, wanted to destroy this child, which is is just insane. But of course, it was never going to happen because a lot of things can try and come in the way. And in the midst of all this, I want to tell you in the midst of all this, the savior Jesus is born. Hallelujah. A child is born, a savior is born, and today I have a very, very short message for you. But on this beautiful day that changed history, I just want to tell you that as I said, God had planned it, Jesus had it planned from a very long time. And his birth was going to change the planet forever, it was going to change mankind forever, it's going to change history. I want to tell you, it's going to change the spiritual world too. Hallelujah. And today being the main reason for the season which we started this month with, Jesus, our savior, is born. And there's this beautiful passage of scripture. I want to give you this beautiful day and give you a whole new perspective on what this day of what we celebrate as Christmas, what we celebrate as the birth of Christ. And you should mark the scripture down, it changes everything. I told you in the very beginning, I have good news for you this morning, aside to the fact that it's the birth of Jesus. Galatians, the fourth chapter, the fourth verse onwards. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent his son, born of a woman, born under the law, so that he might redeem those who were born under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I'm gonna read this beautiful passage of scripture for you again. Some of you will feel the presence of God, just as the wise men knew, just as the shepherds knew, just as even Herod knew the walking of the Messiah. And you will feel him this morning. Galatians 4:4 that says that when the fullness of the time came, God sent his son, born of a woman, born under the law, so that he might redeem those who are under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters. Oh, hallelujah! One of the best passages of scripture that I can share with you on this beautiful day, on the best day of the month, in the best month of the year, that when the fullness of time, the fullness of time, I want to tell you, is this very same day that we celebrate as Christmas, we celebrate as the birth of Christ. Jesus was sent down to this planet to be born of a woman. Let me just tell you what this passage of scripture means. It says he was born under law, he came to follow the law of the land, that he may break and shatter the laws of the land and redeem. The Bible says, He will redeem those under the law. That is you and me. Hallelujah. Jesus came on this planet, he was born of a woman, he was born under law, that he will redeem those under the law. And let me tell you, you and I were under the law, because the Bible says we were under the law. Hallelujah. Galatians 4:4 says he might redeem those who were under the law. Hallelujah. We were under the law now, because of this beautiful day, we are adopted by Jesus. Oh, hallelujah. You see, he came on this planet, he was born, there was no place for him, things were going against him, his birth, but he was born under the law that he'll break the law. And let me tell you what's the law man is born and man shall die. But he broke that law, and now when you put your faith in Jesus, yes, you'll die on this earthly planet, but you have eternal life. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you through this passage of scripture from Galatians 4 the day you celebrate as Jesus has changed your lineage. Of course, you are born of earthly parents. So was Jesus born of earthly parents, but conceived by the Holy Spirit. A child being born of a woman, conceived by the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Born in Bethlehem, placed in a manger, wrapped in swaddling cloths, having no place, as there was no place in the inn. That child, Jesus, is what we celebrate as Christmas, has changed everything for you and me, and everything on this planet. Hallelujah. Mark the scripture down, read it, meditate on it, and understand that Christmas has a whole new meaning. And for some of you, you need to hear the scripture as well. I want to tell you that birth is a sign of a new beginning. The Bible says there's a time to build, a time to break down. Death signifies something else. And birth signifies something else. And I want to tell you, birth is a sign of a new beginning. And as I said, some of you need to hear this passage of scripture from 2 Corinthians 5.17. Hallelujah. From 2 Corinthians 5.17, the Bible says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Hallelujah. All things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Amen. Amen. On this beautiful day of the birth of Christ, now that you know that you have been adopted by Jesus, don't try to put sense to it, don't try to put logic to it. I want to tell you that you know that you are adopted by Jesus. Hey, it's not me, it's the scriptures that say it. You are redeemed from the law of the land. You are redeemed from death and destruction because of his birth. And I want to tell you, all things are new. Mark down 2 Corinthians 5 17. All things are new, and you are a new creation. All things have passed away, all things have become new. Amen. When you believe in the birth of the Savior, conceived through the Holy Spirit, that he was born in a manger, he came down on this planet for you and me. He came under the law, he was born under law, that he may shatter the law. When you put your faith in that name, the name that's above all names, then and then you are a new creation. Hallelujah. Then all things have passed away. Then all things have become new. Hallelujah. And this beautiful day on the birth of the Christ that we celebrate as Christmas. I want to tell you, don't just celebrate it as a day, 25th of December. Celebrate it because you are a new creation. Celebrate it because you are born under lineage of the Most High. If you put your faith in his name, which came from heaven, by the way, Jesus, where every knee will bow on the earth, above the earth, and below the earth, even though there was no place for him in an inn. When you put your faith in that name, your lineage has changed. Hallelujah. Your past has changed, your presence has changed, your future has changed. You are no longer under the law. Once again, Merry Christmas to all of you for this beautiful day that He has given us. And rejoice and be glad in it. Be merry, enjoy time with your family. And most of all, enjoy his presence. Renew your vow to Jesus this beautiful day of his birth. That the scriptures be aligned to you and your lineage be changed. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray. For this day that you've given us, we will rejoice and be glad in it. This beautiful day of your birth. This beautiful day that was planned. Since ages. Thank you, Lord, for these two beautiful passages of scriptures in Galatians and Corinthians, Lord, that tell us that we don't live under the law. The law has been shattered by you, by your birth, and now we are adopted to you as sons and daughters. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus, for coming down on this planet for us. And thank you, Lord. As we leave everything at your feet, we leave everything to your name. The earth is your footstool, the word says. And I thank you as you came down for us. And all things now are renewed. All old things have passed away. Everything is now new. Oh hallelujah. Just as your birth and as you gave us a new beginning. I line to a beautiful passage of scripture from Corinthians 5 17, 2 Corinthians. 517. All things have already been made new on this beautiful day, your birth. Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful time in your presence. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
