SPEAKER_00:

I hope each of you have had a fabulous start to 2026. We're still in the first month. It's a new year. And we know now, as on last week, that we need to diligently seek him. And today is a whole new week. It's a whole new day. And the Bible says he's a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. Hallelujah. And today I want to share something beautiful with you. And I believe it's for all of us this morning. Praise God for that. And I'm taking you straight to a time when Jesus was on the planet. I'm getting straight into it this beautiful morning. And I want to tell you, he started gathering his disciples. Just to give you the way it actually panned out and how the events went when Jesus was on this planet. He goes into a fast. Bible says he goes into the wilderness and he fasts for 40 days and 40 nights. And then he comes back out and he picks disciples and he immediately gets on with the work, which is spreading the good news, preaching the kingdom of God. Some versions of your Bible will call it the kingdom of heaven. And I want to tell you that he starts moving from city to city. He started off in a city called Galilee. And he went about teaching in the synagogues. He went about preaching the gospel, as I said, preaching the good news of the kingdom of God and healing all kinds of sicknesses. The Bible says he healed all kinds of diseases. And I want to tell you his fame began to increase. Because the Bible says he healed all diseases and he healed all sicknesses. And all of a sudden, now people are flocking towards him. They are picking people who are blind, lame, their family members, their friends, and they are running to find out about this beautiful teacher who speaks with authority, who's talking about this new kingdom, and he's saving people. And the Bible says he healed the afflicted of all kinds of diseases. The Bible says the demon-possessed, epileptics, paralytics, blind, deaf, mute. Hallelujah. Leprosy. So you see, his fame began to increase, and now people are looking for him and they are running after him. They want to find out where he is. They want to go and listen to him. They want to be healed by him. Hallelujah. And there's a time when Jesus goes up on this mountain and he sits down and he begins to teach. And let me tell you, some of you know it as a sermon on the mount. And for those of you who don't know it, I'm going to share it with you this morning. But of course, not the entire, not the entire piece, just a just an important, very important part of it that I'm here to share with you this morning. And I believe, as I said, is for each and every one of us. And I want to start straight with the words of Jesus. And I'm I'm reading to you from the book of Matthew, the sixth chapter, the 25th verse onwards. And this is for you and me today. And I believe all of us at some point of time need the scripture, and especially today. So here it goes, Matthew the sixth chapter, the 25th verse. I'm reading to you from the Bible. It says, For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink, nor for your body, as to what you will put on is life, not more than food and body, more than clothing. Hallelujah. I want to tell you some versions of the Bible says do not be anxious. Some versions of the Bible, depending on which version you're reading, will say, Stop being worried, stop being anxious. But let me tell you, no matter what version of the Bible you're reading, Jesus went up on that mount and is telling you and me this morning, do not be anxious and do not worry. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you it's about life in general, it's about everything and anything. And you'll say, you know, you don't understand my problem. Do you know that the Bible says that Jesus was speaking to a crowd which was probably 5,000 plus in number, only the men in counting. And he just made the statement saying, Do not be anxious or do not worry. And I'm telling you this morning through the word of God, yes, I'm sure I don't understand your problem, but I can tell you Jesus does. And then let me tell you, he talks about what you will eat and what you will drink, he talks about the clothes that you will put on, and then he goes on to say, Is life is life not more than food and your body not more than clothing? Hallelujah. And while he's speaking to the crowd, he goes on to start talking about uh these examples of uh birds in the sky. He tells the people and the crowd that look at the birds in the sky, they don't gather food, they don't store them in barns, but yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not more important than them? And then he goes on to talk about the lilies. He says, Look at the lilies in the field, see how beautifully my father has clad them. Then he goes on to give the example saying that the lilies don't labor and they don't toil. But yet, look at the wonderful splendor that Jesus, that the Lord has given them. Then he talks about the grass on the field. He says, Look at the grass, it's alive today, it's thrown in the furnace tomorrow because it's dried and dead and gone. And Jesus says, But your father clothes them in splendor. How much more will we clothe you? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And then Jesus even goes on to say, by wording, can anyone even add a single day in their lifespan? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. It's not easy. I know it's not easy because all of us on uh you know during our tenure on this life on this planet, we all go through certain situations, and I just wanted I'm just here to tell you this morning that is how much Jesus wants you to understand this beautiful morning, and that's how much He wants to tell you do not be anxious about anything, do not worry about anything. And then he I just want to tell you, as I said, I know it's easier said than done. And let me tell you why to understand, because I have been at times as well of worry and anxiousness, and I've been low and I've been scared as well. I think it's just a natural human nature to probably go down that road when you have a roadblock your way, or maybe something that seems that's bigger than you. And I think it's it's just normal, it's human. And I think that's the reason why Jesus came down on this planet in human form to explain to us, and I'm sharing with you today from the words of Jesus Himself. And believe me, I know it's easier said than done. But Jesus is telling you this morning that do not worry about your life, do not be anxious, and let me tell you, this is the proper teaching to a large crowd for the first time that Jesus stands up on a mountain, which means it's significant if he decides to talk about this. And in fact, most Bibles actually call this pastoral scripture out as a topic called the cure for anxiety. Hallelujah. I want to tell you, whatever you're dealing with today, whether it's finances, whether it's health, maybe it's a relationship matter with a family member. Maybe it's a separation with a loved one, maybe your relationship with someone has just gotten cold. Maybe you're hurt from a close friend, maybe there's a workplace problem, maybe there's a goal that's set that seems impossible. Maybe you've had someone taken from you and the road ahead. You just don't even see the road ahead. I want to tell you this morning, you take it to Jesus, you leave your cares and your problems at his feet. And I'm telling you, he will take care of it because he's telling you this morning, do not be anxious for anything. Do not be anxious for anything, and then he goes on to give the example saying that look at the birds, look at the lilies, look at the grass. Are they not fed? Are they not clothed properly? Do you think your father will not take care of you? Hallelujah. Philippians 4, 6. Philippines the fourth chapter, the sixth and seventh verse says the same scripture again gives you another direction towards it. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, with prayer and pleading, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. You've heard this from this platform before. Other versions say with prayer and supplication, which is deep pleading. Supplication is like going down on your knees and praying to God and listen to what the seventh verse says, and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Oh, hallelujah! Hallelujah. See the picture that is beautiful. These two beautiful passages of scripture are giving us this morning. Is you know what? Don't be anxious about anything, don't be anxious about anything. And as I said, I started with telling you we're human, we're on this planet, and I understand that there are all kinds of situations. But the creator of heaven and earth who decided to come down on this planet in human form for a reason is to be human, is to relate to human emotions, is to relate to hurt and pain. He's telling you this morning, don't be anxious about anything. And in fact, make your request be known to God, and the peace of God will guard your heart and your mind. Hallelujah. Another version says, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Hallelujah. His wisdom is not ours. The Bible says our wisdom is like foolishness in front of him. Hallelujah. Which means us sending a drone or a whatever you like to call it to Mars is foolishness to God. It's ridiculous. And that same God is telling you, leave it to me. I will guard your heart and your mind. Hallelujah. I want to tell you this beautiful morning. Take it to Jesus. Take it with earnest requests. There are times which are really difficult, I know that. And do not be anxious for anything. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard you, it will keep you. I want to tell you, God's peace will come upon you. It'll guard your heart and your mind. And you'll say, you know, it's it's um no, you don't understand. You don't understand my situation. I just want to tell you that I'm not here to understand your situation. I'm here to share with you the word of the creator, the master. When he came down on this planet and decided to speak to a large crowd for the first time, I decided to talk about this topic only because he knew the problems that people might be facing. And as I said, a life on this planet has all kinds of situations. But it's important for you to understand this morning that don't be anxious and don't be worried. In fact, let me tell you, the phrase that is repeated the most in the Bible is do not be afraid, which is nothing else but a version of being anxious or being worried. It's the phrase that's repeated the most number of times in the entire Bible, do not be afraid. Imagine that. Hallelujah. And if that's not enough, let me tell you something this morning. Jesus doesn't just put a statement out there and leave it open-ended. That's the beauty of our Father and our Creator. The Son of the Most High, who came down on this planet to give up his life for us. I want to tell you, he just doesn't leave things open-ended. He always and always gives us a solution. And I'm going straight to that solution this beautiful morning. I told you, I'm not here to give you bad news. I'm here to give you good news. And I'm going straight back to the scripture, which is from Matthew, the sixth chapter, and this time it's the 33rd verse. And Jesus is giving us a solution here. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. Amen. Hallelujah. I told you, Jesus just does not leave you with a question. He just does not leave you with an open-ended statement. He's telling you and me this morning, be anxious for nothing. Be anxious for nothing. Come to me with prayer and supplication. Look at the birds in the air, look at the lilies in the fields, look at the grass that is alive today and gone tomorrow, and I take care of them. How much more will I take care of you? And after giving all those examples, he turns around and he tells the people, and he's telling you this morning, but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. Another version says, All these things will be added unto you. Oh hallelujah! Oh hallelujah. Seek his kingdom. All these things, I'll tell you what's the meaning of all these things. All your needs, all your desires will be added to you. Everything that you can ask, think, or imagine, the Bible says, will be added to you. Hallelujah. But you'll ask this question this morning. What do I need to do to seek his kingdom? But seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and these things will be provided to you. So what do I need to do? How do I seek his kingdom? I want to tell you it's the same as what we heard the last week is diligently seek him, seek his kingdom. It's the same word again, seek. I want to tell you the Bible says, Behold, he stands at the door and knocks, and anyone who opens the door to him, he will enter and he will sup with him. Which means he will dine with you, his word says. He says, Behold, I stand at the door and I knock. Anyone who opens the door unto me, I will enter and I will sup with them, which means he will sit at a table with you and he will have a meal with you. Hallelujah. He will dine with you, he will have a chat with you, he will have a relationship with you. Hallelujah. That's the meaning of seeking his kingdom. Another passage of scripture says, I am the vine, you are the branches. Abide in me, and all good things will abide in you. It's the same thing, it has the same meaning. Seek diligently, have a relationship with him. And you say, No, it's too difficult, you don't understand. I don't have the time. You don't have the time, just get up in the morning and say, Good morning, Jesus. Have you ever started your day that way? Rather than going to Instagram or maybe going to your phone and checking the updates on the news. Start with your day with good morning, Jesus. Good morning, Abba Father. Good morning, Holy Spirit. Thank you for this beautiful day. Have you ever started with that? Behold, I stand at the door and knock. Have you opened that door? Let me tell you, Jesus can break down that door. But that's not the kind of God that He is. He will wait until you call out to Him. Hallelujah. This is for someone. Someone this beautiful morning. Jesus said, Come to me, those who are weary and burdened and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Hallelujah. I told you Jesus is the solution. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning. All you need to do, I didn't say it was easy. I never said it was easy. I just told you that all could be going through different kinds of situations, and you could be having your own kind of challenges. But I want to tell you that Jesus came on this planet, that we may have a life and we'll have it more abundantly. That anyone who puts their faith in him will have life more abundantly. Hallelujah. And this beautiful morning, I'm telling you, it's the same word again: seek. Seek. Go and leave your problem at your problems at his feet, and you'll say, You don't understand my situation. Oh, you think the creator of heaven and earth doesn't understand your situation? There's a passage of scripture that says, Are my hands too short to save you? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. This beautiful morning, I'm telling you, get up, shut the door, and just say, Lord, I leave this at your feet. You take control of it. Hallelujah. And this is for someone in particular who needs to hear this. It's from Isaiah 54.17, and this is for you. You'll know who you are. It's a promise from the Most High. Isaiah 54 17 says, No weapon formed against you shall prosper. And any tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn it. You shall condemn them. Amen. And this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. Amen. Hallelujah. No weapon formed against you. I'm reading it to you again. Except this beautiful blessing from the Most High. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and any tongue which rises against you in judgment, you will condemn. Hallelujah. This is the heritage of the servants of the Most High. And their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. Hallelujah. He has redeemed you. He is your righteousness. I don't know who you are, this is for you in particular. And enjoy this beautiful day where the Lord has decided to release this blessing upon you. And for anyone else, this beautiful day, I'm here to tell you, cast your cares upon Jesus. Jesus said, Come to me, those who are weary and heavy laden. He didn't say, Go to a mountain, he didn't say take a pilgrimage. He didn't send people miles and miles to do what I don't even know and I don't care. All I know is he said, Come to me, those who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. And you'll say, I don't know Jesus. He's just a name I've heard. That's okay. I told you, shut your door and say, Jesus, come into my life. I know you are the Son of God. I know you came down on this planet to die for me. I know you gave up your life on a cross. I know you are seated at the right hand of God and you are alive today, Lord. Jesus, come into my life, take control. I come to you, I'm weary and heavy laden. Give me your rest. Hallelujah. This beautiful morning, leave your cares at his feet. Believe me, he will take care of your problems. You know what? Don't believe me. Believe Jesus, it's his words. He will take care of your problems, he will feed you, he will clothe you, he will take care of you, he will ensure there are no weapons formed against you, he will ensure you condemn the tongues that come against you. In other words, the people who come against you. He will take care of every little detail that you need taken care of. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray, dear Lord. I thank you for this beautiful day. I thank you for your beautiful word, Lord, that tells us not to be anxious and not to worry. And this beautiful day, I pray on behalf of everyone who's listening and who will listen, Lord. That I pray that we take all their problems and leave it at your feet. This beautiful morning, we bring everything and lay it down at your feet, Lord. But you are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Nothing has been made, has been made without you and not been made without your permission. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, for your beautiful presence that some people can feel. Thank you, Lord, for change of hearts. Thank you, Lord, for some people who are opening their doors to you. And you will go in and you will sup with them, you will dine with them, you will take their burden and you will give them your yoke. Because your yoke is light and your burden is easy, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Some of you can feel a beautiful presence of God, some of you can feel that weight has been lifted off your shoulder. Hallelujah. I want to tell you, Jesus came down on this planet just to tell you that do not worry, do not be anxious. Birds are taken care of, the grass on the field is taken care of. You are his creation, you are his masterpiece, you are his children. Of course, he will take care of you. It's just you don't see the way he will do it, but he will do it. That's his promise to you this beautiful morning. Enjoy his beautiful presence. Some of you have decided to change your heart towards him. Hallelujah, Lord. For those who have decided to turn towards you, I make a prayer on their behalf, Lord. I thank you that they come to you knowing that you are the creator of heaven and earth. And in case you don't know what you need to say, just say, Dear Lord Jesus, I accept you. Come into my life, take control. I leave everything at your feet. I know you're the Son of the Most High. I know you came and died on a cross for me and you rose on the third day. I know, Lord, that you're seated at the right hand of God and you are alive today, and I leave everything at your feet. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful time. Thank you for this beautiful presence. Thank you, Lord, for the change of hearts that have already happened. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
