God Is Doing A New Thing
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
There are seasons in life that feel dry, quiet, and uncertain.
A season where nothing seems to move, where prayers feel unanswered,
and the path ahead looks like a wilderness with no direction.
But what if, walking through it or enduring the dry spell, isn’t the end of the story?
In this episode, we reflect on how a situation can change overnight if and when God wants it.
This week's message is a reminder to all listening that God is doing a new thing in your life — even if we cannot see it yet.
“Do not call to mind the former things, Or consider things of the past. “Behold, I am going to do something new, Now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”
- Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV
Sometimes the wilderness is not a place of abandonment.
It is the very place where God creates rivers.
If you are feeling stuck, weary, or uncertain about the future, this message will remind you that:
- God is already working behind the scenes
- Your dry season is not permanent
- A new path may already be forming where you see none
- Could the season you’re in right now be the place where God is preparing something new?
- What if the wilderness is where the miracle begins?
Join us as we explore how faith, trust, and surrender allow God to make a way where there seems to be no way.
If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who might be walking through their own wilderness today.
Faith. Hope. Love
Good news for everyday life.
The Gospel, simply shared.

God’s Love In Our Suffering
SPEAKER_00I'll do it. I want to start with something this morning that I believe each of you need to hear. Some of you need to hear for sure. And some of you need maybe a strong reminder. And that is that God loves you. Jesus loves you. And I think this morning some of you might be going through certain things. And that's life. Because that how that's how it goes. But by no means, I'm here to tell you that by no means should you think that God is not there in it. He loves you deeply. And I want to remind you, in case you forgot, Jesus came on this planet to give up his life for you and me. And that is a very, very deep form of love that somebody can have for anyone. That he was obedient to death. He was obedient to being beat up and spat upon. And to put a crown of thorns upon his head. And to be whipped and take lashes on his back for you and for me. And that's a very deep form of love. I want to tell you this morning. So whatever you're going through this morning, I want to tell you and reassure you that God loves you. And by no means should you think that you're alone in whatever situation that you are in, because God loves you. And as I said, I just needed to start with that because I believe some of you needed to hear that. And uh I'm going to the time when Jesus appointed his 12 disciples, and um, you know, he called them together, and this is from the book of Matthew. He calls them together and he speaks to them about many beautiful things, you know, teaching them about things they need to do, about instructing them about the kingdom of heaven. And at that time, Jesus begins to explain to his disciples something that's just so beautiful, which I'm going to share with you this morning. And as I said, some of you need to hear it. For some of you, it's a reminder. And it comes from the book of Matthew, the 29th chapter, the 10th chapter, the 29th verse. Matthew the 10th chapter, the 29th verse onwards. And he goes on to say, and Jesus is talking to his 12 disciples who he has appointed, and he's telling them, Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls on the ground apart from your father's will. But the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not fear, therefore, you are more valued than many sparrows. Hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture. So he's basically trying to create a comparison with his disciples and tell him that aunt sparrows sold, two sparrows, in fact, just sold for one copper coin. And then he goes on to say, and I tell you, the word the beautiful uh the Bible is so beautiful, Jesus' words are absolutely to the dot. And he says, not one of them falls to the ground apart from your father's will. That's a key, key, key statement he makes here that even a sparrow in the air has fallen down on the ground because of the father's will. Hallelujah. And then he says, the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Hey, believe it or not, in the book of accounts, I want to tell you that where your name is, it also has a number of hair that you have on your head, and it's in the words from Jesus. It's not me, hallelujah. And then he says, Therefore, don't worry or don't fear. How much more value are you than many sparrows? Hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture. I told you it's just a beautiful passage of scripture if you just meditate on it. And I want to tell you this morning, for some of you, that nothing happens without God's will. Nothing. Nothing happens without God's will. And in the words of Jesus, if the very hairs on your head are numbered, you can only imagine how he looks at every situation that's coming your way. Hallelujah. And I want to go back to telling you that God knows you and He understands you very deeply, He cares for you, and He loves you. Others who have not come on the cross, come down on this planet to climb on a cross, to be nailed on a cross for you and me. That's a very deep form of love. And I started with that. And today I want to explain some aspects to you. Because some of you, though you've heard this passage of scripture from Matthew 10, still have a few questions lingering in your head. And it's only human because we're human, we are born onto this earth through human ancestry, through human blood, and it's only human. Where has this dead-end situation come from? How is it possible that I'm in this position? Where has everyone gone and I'm all alone? These could be questions in your head. Maybe there might be other questions which I have not mentioned right now. But I want to tell you that yes, we do all go through these kind of feelings, these kind of questions. And sometimes some situations in life can be really tough. Some of them can really bring us to our knees. But today I want to share something with you that's really important. And as I said, I'm going to give you a very different aspect through the word of God. And I'll start straight in the work of Jesus when he was on this planet. And I pray this beautiful day that he opens your heart and you understand his beautiful word that is aligned for you today. And I'm reading to you from the book of John, the 12th chapter, the 24th verse onwards. And as I said, it'll give you a perspective. John 12, 24 says, Truly, truly, when Jesus says truly, truly, or he says, verily, verily, depending on the version of the Bible you're referring to, I want to tell you it means you need to pay attention. So to your attention this morning, truly, truly, in the words of Jesus, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. Hallelujah. So in Jesus' words, he's saying that a seed needs to fall into the ground, and he's he's saying a grain of wheat in um uh in the NESB version that I'm reading, and it says once and he says, once it falls into the ground, it needs to die. And only when it dies does it produce much grain. Hallelujah. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, is his first sentence. That means if a grain of wheat does not die, it's alone. And then he says, But if it dies, it produces much grain. Hallelujah. Let me explain this one to you. You know, sometimes certain things in our life, and this is what this passage of scripture is trying to tell you and me this morning. Sometimes certain situations in life need to die, those situations are something, or those things that you cling on to, or it could be multiple things, right? Just don't think of it as a situation. Could be a person, could be a job, it could be, it could be so many things for so many people. But understand the word of God this morning is that with that situation being with you in your life, it remains alone. You remain alone with the situation, nothing happens. But sometimes, sometimes you need that situation to die for there to be growth in your life. And I know it's very difficult to understand this because it's easier to hear than to experience. And I understand it because you know, personally, I too have lost many things in life. I mean, things were taken away at a time when I did not wish. People have left when I didn't want them to go. Situations changed when I thought they were good. Jobs came to an end when things were going perfectly fine. Certain things changed and took a complete turn when they were functioning absolutely smoothly. But I won't tell you this morning, and you need to understand it through the words of God. Knowing Jesus, I don't normally look back, but when I look back, I always see so much more than before. I have so much more than before. When I look back, I know now I'm in such a better place than what I was before. When I look back, the situation, the job, the people around me, the friends, everything, everything, life overall, everything is so much better that I cannot even put it on a scale. Hallelujah. But I want to tell you at that time I did not understand why it was happening. And maybe some of you today are going through that situation where you don't understand why it's happened, or whatever it is that's happening. But yes, there are times when things are taken away and they had to go, and they have to go sometimes, but we don't see it. In the words of Jesus, it has to die before it produces many grains, which means certain things in your life need to go for you to be more productive in life on this planet. Hallelujah. And just like that, for most of your lives on this planet, for those of you who are listening, some things have to end. And you know, maybe we don't understand it sometimes because that's what we understand as the best thing for us. But as I said, I will explain it to you again through the word of God. It's beautiful morning. And again, today some of you are looking at your situation and thinking, I still don't get it. I still don't get it. I don't understand why this has happened, I don't understand why this needed to change, I don't understand where this situation is going, I don't understand where this is taking me. Because things were just perfect according to you. And here's God's answer for you this beautiful morning. And it comes from Jeremiah 29, 11. And accept the word of God this beautiful morning, for I know the plans that I have for you, says the creator. Declare the Lord, the Bible says, plans for prosperity and not for disaster to give you a future and hope. Hallelujah. For I know the plans that I have for you, says the creator, the master, the one who's made heaven and earth. Plans for prosperity. What a beautiful passage of scripture. And he's calling it out to you this beautiful morning. Plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and to give you a hope. Oh, hallelujah! What a beautiful passage of scripture. I'm going to give you an example this morning. Some of you know I have a son, some of you might not. I have a four-year-old, and I'm going to give you his example, and I want to tell you that according to him, if I gave him the choice, ice cream, yogurt, and a few fruits thrown in here and there, and he'd be happy in life. He would not want to eat anything more. He would eat these three things for all his meals in the day if given the choice. And I want to give you a perspective, look at it from his eyes. That's the perfect life. And he would love it if he would get ice cream, yogurt, and fruits. And he could survive on them all meals of the day, 365 days of the year. But you know what? I want to tell you something. I love my son. And I know that's that's not in that's not enough for him. I might give him ice cream and yogurt a few times when he asks for it, but I know that's not enough for him. It's not right for him. It'll not give him the building blocks that he needs at this beautiful age while he's growing. It'll not give him the nutrients and all that kind of stuff, which I'm not going to get into, but I want to tell you this morning that I love him. And I know that these three things in all meals are not good for him. Not according to him, because according to him, he thinks it's the best thing ever. And I want to tell you at some point in time, as somebody who loves him, I have to stop it. Because he doesn't see it and he doesn't understand it. Hallelujah. I hope you get it this beautiful day through this example that I just gave you. Through the eyes of my four-year-old, his life would be perfect based on the choices that he'll be left with. But I want to tell you, as his father, I know what's better for him. And this beautiful day, I know it's difficult for us to accept, but sometimes our plans are just not good enough. And God needs to step in and take control and make it better, and change the yogurt and the ice cream and the fruit into a whole balanced diet for your life on this planet. Hallelujah. As I said, I hope you understood that example because it's a very simple one. And all of us on this planet have someone that we love. If I tell you to take a few seconds and close your eyes and think about that person you love, believe me, you will have someone who pops into your head. And if you had an option, I know you would change everything about that person's life. If you had all the strings, hallelujah. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning that God has all the strings and He knows the plans he has for you. It's just that you see your plans as a little different. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And you know, sometimes when you lose things, we tend to sit down and ask God to give them back. This is for someone, I don't know. I don't even know what's the situation, but I believe you're sitting and asking God for that situation, that person, I don't know, maybe that job, that relationship, something to come back. You want it back. And you're finding it very difficult right now in this moment that you're in to let it go. I want to tell you something this morning. If it needs to come back, God will bring it back because his word says, I know the plans I have for you. They are only plans that don't have disaster associated with it. It's only a plan of prosperity and a future and not that which has hope. Hallelujah. So if he has to bring it back, believe me, he'll bring it back. But I want to tell you this morning that you need to leave it to him. The creator of heaven and earth is saying he knows the plans that he has for you. And I think you should just leave it to him. And yet again, as beautifully explained through the words of Jesus while he's talking to his disciples from the book of Matthew, the ninth chapter, the 16th and 17th verse. Matthew, the ninth chapter, the 16th and 17th verse, Jesus tells his disciples, no one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Hallelujah! Because the patch pulls away and the tear is made worse. But in fact, nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins will break, and the wine is spilled, and the wineskins also ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved. Hallelujah. I leave you with Matthew 9, 16, and 17. And you read it in your own time and you meditate on the word of God. But I want to tell you while you're reading it, picture your life. Picture your wineskin and picture the wine as your life. And Jesus is saying, you can't put new wine into old wineskins, you cannot do it. This is the words of Jesus. Because then both get ruined. The wineskin will burst and the wine will spin, which means, in other words, if I'm relating this to my life on this planet, everything is destroyed. If you hold on to the old. And both according to that when God brings you to that situation as a father, and He puts things, He puts things to a full stop, He takes that grave and He puts it in the ground because it needs to die. That is Him bringing in new wine. And you need to take it this morning. It's the words of Jesus, it's not mine. And that way both are preserved. Your life is preserved, and that is God's beautiful multiplication that will come into your life when you accept what He has put to a full stop. Hallelujah. I want to tell you this beautiful morning, your life is in His control. Believe me, I told you, take a few seconds and picture that person you love. When you picture that person you love, will you do anything to harm that person? You will not. And we are human. Imagine what the creator of heaven and earth will do for you and me when he loves you. And he loves me. This beautiful morning, I'm here to tell you that God wants to do something new for you. And he can only bring in the new when you let the old go. And that's why, when you're sitting and looking at your situations this morning, just picture yourself with a slate in front of you and wipe it clean. Because he's trying to wipe it clean so he can do something new. I told you, read Matthew 9, 16, 17 again, the wineskins, the new wineskin, and the old wineskin and the and the wine, read it. Why would he say that both are preserved? Why would he say that? Yes, there are certain things of the old that he will keep, and your life is preserved. Oh, hallelujah. This passage of scripture is so deep if you read it and you meditate on it. Hallelujah. This beautiful morning, I want to tell you, God wants to do something new in the words of Jesus. He wants to do something new for you. And I want to tell you, it's not in our capacity to do it by ourselves because we are human. The Bible says his strength is made perfect in our weakness. Hallelujah. It's not possible for us sometimes to do it, but he will change things for you. He will change things for you this beautiful morning. He will set the whole new background for you. He will wipe that slate clean, as I already told you. And here's his promise for you this morning. You know, the word says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. And he wants to do something new, right? Sometimes he needs to take charge. There's a beautiful passage of scripture that says, I have cleansed you in the furnace. Sometimes he does it for you. As I said, my son would love ice cream and yogurt the whole day for all meals, but I won't give it to him, but I'd have to stop it somewhere. Hallelujah. And here is a prophecy for you this beautiful morning. And this is for you who has decided that Jesus, you come into this hell. Of my boat, my ship, and you steer it. I put my hands up and you take control, Lord. I believe the plans you have for me are to prosper me and not to harm me. There is a hope in a future, and you take control. And here it is from the book of Isaiah 43, the 18th and 19th verse. Isaiah 43, the 18th and 19th verse. And this is for you this morning. Do not call to mind the former things or even consider things of the past. Behold, I am doing something new. Amen. And now it will spring forth. Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I'm also reading the NKJV version. Do not call to mind the former things, the things of the past, or consider things of the past. Do not even consider the things of the past. Behold, I am going to do something new. Amen. Now it will spring up. Now will you not be aware of it? And then he says, I will even, and this is where people miss it. I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Amen. Hallelujah. He's not just going to do something new for you this morning. He's asking you to forget the things of the past, whatever you're clinging on to, forget it. New wineskin, old wineskin, forget the old. It's new wine he wants to pour into your life. And he's making a new wineskin for you. So accept it this beautiful morning. I am going to do something new. Now it will spring up. Amen. And then I will even make a roadway in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Hallelujah. Leave everything behind you. This beautiful morning. Forget your past. Forget what you think might you might have lost. Forget anything you think you're missing out on. God is doing something new right now, this beautiful day. And he's even, even going to make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert just because he loves you. Hallelujah. Accept his blessings into your life this beautiful morning. Loss is difficult. Subtraction is difficult. Sometimes he takes things, but God is not in the business of subtraction. He's not. He's only in the business of multiplication. He's only in the business of multiplication. And anyone who has a deep relationship with God knows very well God is only in the business of multiplication. He's only in that business. He's in no other business. And if you ever think, why did this go? Question mark. Minus in brackets. It's not a minus. It's a minus because he wants to take it, put it into the ground, let it die, that it becomes a multiplication. Amen. Hallelujah. I want to tell you, Heavenly Father wants to give you something new this morning. He wants to renew you. He wants to refresh your life. Accept it this beautiful morning. He's already released his blessing, his word, his prophecy for you this morning from Isaiah 43 that says he's gonna do something new. It will spring forth now. He'll make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, aligned to his word. As I said, this beautiful morning accepted some things need to die out. Someone who's thinking, but things were absolutely perfect. But they were perfect in your eyes, they were perfect according to your plan. God knows everything. The earth is his footstool, he has created the heavens. You think he doesn't know the plans that he has for you? They're to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans with the hope and a future. You only see what's in front of your eyes. He sees timelessness. Hallelujah. And he wants to do something new. Accept his beautiful, beautiful blessings for you this morning. He's your father, he loves you. That's what I started with. He loves you. And I want to tell you, the only reason why he would do it is because he loves you. Of course. Hallelujah. He's doing something new for you today. Sit back, accept it, enjoy it, open the door, let him come in. Give every aspect of your life to him. Let him take control of everything. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray. Dear Lord, I thank you for this beautiful time. I thank you for this beautiful word. The double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for, Lord. I thank you, Lord, for your beautiful word that is released today, a beautiful blessing from Isaiah 43. And I thank you, Lord, that you're doing something new. And now it shall spring and now it shall spring forth. Shall we not know it? Of course we will know it's from you. Because your word has been released and you're watching over your word to perform it. And I thank you, Lord, that you're doing something new right now. You're making and even making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert to your people to not understand right now. I thank you, Lord, that you've taken that seed and you've put it on the ground that it has to end. And that through your word, you're opening the floodgates of heaven and bringing out multiplication into their lives in all the areas of life that they're looking for, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for the new wine skins that you've given people. I thank you, Lord, for the new wine that you are filling them with. Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful time. Thank you for your beautiful presence that people can feel. And though there are some heavy hearts, Lord, at this time I thank you, your word that says your strength is made perfect in our weakness, Lord. Lord, we take our burden, we take our yoke, and we leave it at your feet, Lord, because your yoke is easy and your burden is light. Give us your yoke, Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for this beautiful time. Thank you for your beautiful presence that people can feel now. It shall spring forth. They shall know it. You will even make a way in the wilderness and live us in the desert. Amen. Thank you, Lord. Jesus.
