The Good Shepherd
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if Jesus understands more than we think… not just spiritually, but emotionally?
In the final week before the cross,
He felt it all.
Love. Compassion. Joy.
But also—anger, betrayal, stress, grief, humiliation, abandonment.
Nothing you feel today is unfamiliar to Him. In this episode, we go back to the last week of Jesus on earth—
a week that holds every human emotion we struggle to carry.
Because the truth is—
He is not distant from your pain.
He has lived through it.
He is the Good Shepherd.
The One who laid down His life for you.
And the One who still comes after you… even when you’ve drifted.
- Have you lost your way?
- Do you feel like no one really understands what you're going through?
- Are you quietly sinking under the weight of it all?
He understands.
He cares.
And He is still calling you back.
But the choice remains—
Do you want Him to lead you again?
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?
- Matthew 18:12-14 NKJV
If you’ve been feeling distant, forsaken, or unsure if you still belong, stay till the end for a prayer and an invitation to come back, just as you are.
If this spoke to you, share it with someone who might need this reminder today.
Faith. Hope. Love
Good news for everyday life.
The Gospel, simply shared.

Holy Week And The Plot
SPEAKER_00I'm excited to tell you that next week is Easter. And it's the day that changed everything for mankind on this planet. For those of you who understand what was done on that cross for you and me, it changed past, present, and future. Because of what he did, what Jesus did on that cross. But that's for next week. And this week. It is the week many years ago, many years ago. When Jesus was on this planet, and I want to tell you that things began to change. At this very same time, as I said, at this very same week, many, many years ago, when Jesus was on the planet, things began to change. And I'll tell you what I'm what I'm talking about or what I'm referring to is a lot of people started plotting against Jesus. A lot of misrepresentation about him. A lot of things were said about his name, about what he was doing for the people, theories about what banner he was operating under. Plotting and planning to take his life has all started this week many years ago. And that's really sad, but I want to tell you the creator of heaven and earth came down to his creation to save that which was lost, but mankind was wicked and wanted to destroy his work and what he was doing. Can you imagine healing the sick? All kinds of diseases, the eyes of the blind opening, the lame walking, the deaf, hearing the paralyzed, standing up and walking and jumping and leaping, lepers being made well, and some of them being made whole, the dead coming to life. And after all that, Jesus being betrayed. Maybe some of you have gone through these levels of persecution. Maybe some of you have had situations where people have come against you, where people have turned on you, where people have made other people turn on you, where people have left you alone. In fact, people that you might have done good for have turned on you. Some of them have even left, leaving you in a place that's cold. But I want to tell you this beautiful morning. I told you, some of us might have been in situations like that or still might be right now. And it's hard to imagine. And it's a very sad and a lonely place to be in for anyone. And the point that I want to make this beautiful day, and it's it's it's I don't have a very long word today, but I'd like you to pay attention from this point on. And it's important that you understand. I want to assure you this morning that Jesus was and has been acquainted with all the kind of emotions that you and I go through. And don't be mistaken about that. Jesus was on this planet, and he has been acquainted, and he is acquainted with all these array of emotions that you and I go through. And I'm going to take you through a few of them, and we can try a few if you'd like, just from the ones which you know, for sure, I can tell you, through the word of God, and you will know today. And I'm going straight into it. I'm starting with compassion, sympathy, kindness, mercy. I started with compassion because in multiple times in the Bible it has been written that Jesus operated in compassion. He had compassion on the people, he had compassion on the crowds, he had compassion on the blind man, he had compassion on the leper, he had compassion on the group of lepers, he had compassion on the paralyzed, he had compassion, he had compassion. It's written so many places in the Bible. That word is repeated so many times, depending on the version that you read. In fact, it's in most of the versions. As I said, he healed the sick, the lepers were made whole, he fed the crowds. When they said, Lord, have mercy on me, he would even stop in his path and heal them. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Compassion. That's not the only emotion that's required, sure. Was he passionate? Was he emotional? Was he sensitive? Was he sentimental? Let me tell you that Jesus had a friend, his name was Lazarus, and when Jesus was in another place, he finds out that his friend Lazarus has died. And the Bible says it's the shortest verse in the Bible. It says Jesus wept when he found out about his friend Lazarus. Jesus wept, which shows mourning and sorrow. Jesus knows sorrow. Anger. I want to tell you, Jesus got angry when the Pharisees and the Sadducees tried to corrupt his words and the meaning that he was trying to portray. He got angry with them and called them a brood of vipers multiple times. Jesus got angry when he saw the vendors in the market making the temple a marketplace, a temple that is of his father's. And he whipped them out of the premises. That is Jesus feeling anger. Hallelujah. And this is for someone this morning. Someone is thinking fear. Jesus had fear? No. No, no. Jesus did not have fear. Let me tell you that. And I want to assure you this morning, in case that's what you are feeling, Jesus did not have fear because you do not have fear. It is not a spirit that you carry. When you know Jesus, the Bible says you do not have a spirit of timidity or of fear, but instead you have a spirit of power and love and sound mind. Hallelujah. It's in the book of Timothy, in case you didn't know. And I want to tell you that you don't have a spirit of fear. Jesus did not have a spirit of fear. That's one emotion he did not have. And that's not a box that I can check for you because he did not have it. Hallelujah. So in case you're dealing with fear this morning, rebuke it in the name of Jesus. I want to tell you he's not acquainted with that emotion. And you should not. Hallelujah. I'm coming to the next one. Distress, agony, anguish. Oh, these are heavy ones. I want to tell you, Jesus knows distress. Jesus knows stress. Jesus knows anguish. He knows agony. These are all very heavy words. And you'll say, Did Jesus, did Jesus feel these things? Would he would he know what this felt like? Let me tell you, there's a time just before he's about to go up on that cross for you and me. There's a time when he goes to this garden with his disciples to pray. The garden is called the Garden of Gethsemane or Getzemain or Getzemani, or whatever you'd like to call it as. The Bible says he prayed to his father, asking for the cup to be taken away from him. But yet, for his will to be done, and the Bible says, and in case you didn't know, you can read it, it's in the book of Luke. He was under some such a tremendous amount of pressure and stress. The Bible says that his sweat became great drops of blood and began to fall on the ground. I don't think any of you or me have gone through this level of stress where your sweat turns into blood. But Jesus did. And in case you didn't know, yes, Jesus does know stress. He did know agony and anguish. I'm coming to the next one, humiliation. Jesus absolutely knew what was humiliation. My friend, in case you think you didn't know this, I want to tell you that Jesus knew humiliation to the highest extent. He was stripped of his clothes. He was flogged and beaten for you and me. He had a crown of thorns put upon his head. He was struck on his head with a reed. He was spat upon. He was whipped on his back. I don't think any of you or me have ever gone through this kind of humiliation. And you will not either. But I want to assure you this morning that Jesus did. He knows what's humiliation. Pain. Pain can be physical, it can also be a mental or an emotional state. I want to tell you he was nailed on a cross. They put his hands, uh they put nails on his palms, and they banged him to the cross. They put nails on his feet to ensure that he's in place on that cross. What makes you think he doesn't know pain? And I've left this last one. Abandonment. Being left alone. You think Jesus doesn't know what it's like to be left alone? You think he doesn't know what it's like to be abandoned? I want to tell you this this morning. He knows exactly what it's like to be abandoned. Let me tell you, he didn't take people with him when he went up on that cross. He does know what it's like to be forsaken. He does know what it's like to be left alone. He even knew that one of his disciples would deny him three times before the cock crows, before the rooster would crow. And I want to tell you, it wasn't his disciples' fault, it's not about that. It is just a human emotion, and that's what I wanted to bring to you this morning. Jesus is well acquainted with human emotions while he was on this planet, and he has felt each and any each and every one of those emotions. And as I said, it's just a human emotion. Before trials and tribulations, let me tell you, most men, people, women, families, friends will abandon you. And Jesus knows that feeling. It's just a human thing. I want to tell you, can you imagine Jesus going through all these emotions in just one week? Can you imagine Jesus and what all he did for all the people that were on the planet, for all the crowds that followed him everywhere that he went, for his time on this planet, for his work on this planet? Can you imagine the sudden switch of emotions, all to be expressed in this one week? I want to tell you, Jesus is the only one who could do that for you and me. He's the only one who could take on all of this for you and me. While he was on this planet, aligned from the person, Jesus, who knows the spectrum of all the emotions that you and I go through. Don't be mistaken. This beautiful morning, you think he doesn't know what you go through, he knows exactly what you go through, he's gone through it way more than you or me. And this is coming through the words of the master, especially from the one who was abandoned for you and me. And I'm going straight to it from the book of Matthew, the 18th chapter, the 12th verse onwards. Matthew the 18th chapter, the 12th verse onwards, and I'm reading it to you, and meditate on this word, this beautiful morning, absorb it, understand it. What do you think? These are the words of Jesus. What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is lost? And if it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that have not gone astray. So it is not the will of your father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. From the words of Jesus, from the one who has gone through all the emotions that you and I go through on this planet, way more than you and I can even imagine. He's talking about a hundred sheep. Then he's talking about that one that goes astray. And then he tells his disciples that will that shepherd not leave the 99 in the pen and go after the one. Then he says, if he would find that one, he would rejoice over it more than the 99 that have not gone astray. Hallelujah. And that is the will of the Father who is in heaven, that not even one should perish. Hallelujah. Some of you can feel the presence of God, and I want to tell you, when you say your will be done, that's what it means. Not one should perish. I want to tell you this beautiful morning. Are you that one? Are you that one who has strayed away? Are you that one who has lost your path? Are you that one out of the 99 that has lost his pen? And I want to tell you something this morning. There's something which you can just miss in the scripture. And I want to bring it to your attention. I say to you, the words of Jesus, if he would find it, Jesus says, If the shepherd would find the sheep, why would he say something like that? It's the truth. And I want to bring it to your attention this morning. I want to tell you that. It's hard for him. But I want to I want to show you this morning the reason why he has said that is that one who's left his protection, that one who's gone out of the pen, the reason why he's saying that is only because the choice is not his, it's yours and mine. If the shepherd would find that sheep, you think Jesus can't find you? He can find you, he knows everything about you. The Bible says he knows the hairs that are numbered. The hairs on your head are numbered. You think he can't find you? He can find you. The problem is he needs to be allowed to find you, and that's on you, and that's on me. If he would find it, and that's such a sad aspect of what Jesus came on this planet for. Just to let you know. My friends, the Bible says that I will never leave you forsaken, never leave you, nor forsake you. For the one who is forsaken and left alone, he tells you and me that he will never leave us because he knows what it's like to be left alone and to be forsaken. And that same beautiful savior, this beautiful morning, is telling you and me that even if you've lost your path a little bit, if you've lost your way a little bit, he will rejoice over you if you call unto him, he will answer you, he will take you back into his protection, he will take you back into the pen. I said, I have a short word today, and I want to tell you today the choice is yours because he it's just the way he's made it. He came down on this planet, he gave up his life on a cross for you and me, he finished it all, but he left the choice to you and me. That you may be found only if you make that choice. He's done everything else that he had to do. You just need to make that choice. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning. Make the right choice. Seek the one who came down on this planet for you and me. And he will take you. And like the prodigal son, he will celebrate over you. And this is exactly what this passage of scripture also says. He will celebrate, you will rejoice over you. Hallelujah. I pray that his word bears fruit a hundredfold and you understand the true meaning of his beautiful work and his gospel and his kingdom that he came to spread upon this planet only for you that you may know what is the right choice to make. And make that choice today. Because he came down on the planet for you. He came down on the planet for you. He went through all these areas of emotions for you. Yes, you. That you may know that he is your shepherd, the good shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray, dear Lord, I thank you for this beautiful time. I thank you for your beautiful word, your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. I thank you, Lord, that you came down on this planet just for us. I thank you remain faithful, though we are faithless. I pray, Lord, this beautiful day that you change our heart and you make us understand even more through this beautiful word that you've released. That we know that you are Father. You are a good shepherd who has laid down his life for us. I thank you, Lord. And I proclaim you our Father. And for those of you who are wondering, there's nothing that you need to do. You just need to repeat this. And I'm gonna say this prayer and you repeat it after me, or you can hear this again and repeat it in your own time. Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for what you did on that cross for us, Lord. I know that you are the Son of the Father. I know that you gave up your life on the cross for us. I know that you were raised on the third day. And I know that you are seated at the right hand of God. You are the good shepherd. You have laid down your life for me. And I thank you, Lord. Be my shepherd, dear Lord Jesus, be my guide, and I leave everything at your feet. Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful sacrifice that you have made for me. Be my shepherd and be my guide. And be at my right hand through each day from this day on. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
