Leave It At His Feet
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
There are burdens many of us carry quietly every single day.
Stress that never seems to switch off.
Financial pressure.
Mental exhaustion.
Health concerns.
The silent weight of trying to hold everything together while feeling completely alone.
Sometimes life becomes so loud that we forget we were never meant to carry it all by ourselves.
But God’s Word gives us a different invitation —
to bring every burden, every anxiety, and every heavy thought to Him.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
In this episode, we reflect on the promise of God’s peace — a peace that does not depend on circumstances, logic, or control.
So what happens when we truly begin to leave it at His feet?
- What does the Bible say about anxiety and fear?
- How do we hold on to peace when life feels overwhelming?
- What does it mean that God is with us always?
- And how can the peace of God begin to guard our hearts and minds, even in difficult seasons?
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 4:7
A peace that remains steady even when anxiety wants to take over.
A peace that reminds us we are not abandoned, unseen, or forgotten.
If you’ve been feeling weary, anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, or simply tired of carrying everything on your own, this conversation is a reminder that rest in Jesus is real.
Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not holding everything together —
but surrendering it to the One who already holds you.
If this episode speaks to you, consider sharing this link with someone who may need this reminder today. Sometimes the right word at the right time can bring peace, comfort, and renewed strength.
Faith. Hope. Love
Good news for everyday life.
The Gospel, simply shared.

From Eden To The Cross
SPEAKER_00Hallelujah. Today I want to start and talk to you about a very important aspect in life, and that is a journey on this planet. And I want to start with, you know, giving each and every one of you a very short synopsis of how it all began on this planet. And for those of you who don't know, God uh made man in his own image. He made man and woman in his own image. Adam and Eve. And I want to tell you that God put them in a place that was uh something that I would like to call the promised land that God already gave them. And then it so happens that because of some something that they did, God gets angry with them. And I as I said, even though he created them in his own image, created us in his own image, he gets angry. And I'm reading it to you from the word of God from the book of uh Genesis in the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you shall return. And that's really not a nice thing to hear because this is where God tells them that they will have to toil, that from the sweat of their face you will eat bread, which means God tells them that they will have to toil now to be able to eat, and that we were taken from the dust, and to the dust, and to dust you shall return. And that's as I said, because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve. And as I said, it's not a nice thing to hear at all. But as I said, I'm just giving you a synopsis. I'm starting with the synopsis, and many, many years after, God decides to bless a man called Abraham, and through him his line, his family, his bloodline, a country called Israel happens. So, see, even though God was unhappy with Adam and Eve, he blesses Abraham and his line, and through him comes a country chosen by God called Israel. And yet Israel chooses to turn to other gods, they forget God, they forget where they've come from. And yet again, now God decides that he will save them from slavery, pull them out of Egypt, walk through somebody by the name of Moses, and show them his might and rekindle the fact that he is God with them. And yet again, when he pulls them out, they make a golden calf while they are on the way to the promised land, and God gets angry with them yet again. And just to let you know, that generation that built the golden calf did not reach the promised land because he waited for them to die in the wilderness, and the next generation he took to the promised land. Hallelujah! And then after that, Jesus happens. Now, Jesus has come down on this planet many years after that, and everything that Jesus does is in love and compassion, and he preaches the good news of the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God in some passages of scripture, the way it's called out. And the people decide to take him and crucify him and hang him on a cross. And now we are in 2026. You know, history is divided as uh into AD and BC, and we are in 2026 AD. That's the years that Jesus has come and saved mankind and gone back. And as I said, these past stories don't exactly paint the best picture. But as I said, I'm here to give you good news this morning, I'm not here to give you any bad news through the word of God. And I'm going back to the start where I where I started with saying that it's a very important aspect in life, and that is our journey on this planet. And considering all these things that have happened, and how God has always been faithful with us, and how God has even sent his son on this planet to die on a cross for us, and yet he was not accepted. What sort of a future do you think we might have? So I want to tell you, for those who put their faith in Jesus, for those who need to understand this beautiful morning that you have an awesome father, you are you have an awesome Jesus by your side. And hear these words from the word of God, which says to you, this beautiful morning, that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Hallelujah. Irrespective of what mankind has done to God and for God and towards God for all these generations, and I just gave you a small little synopsis. Yet, this beautiful morning is he will never leave us nor forsake us. Hallelujah. And today I want to reassure you about this promise from God. And I believe this is for everyone, this beautiful morning, because everyone has different times in life and different journeys that you go through. And I'd share with you something and start with sharing from the Word of God in the words of Jesus Himself. And this should be your motto from this day on, if you've understood the story that I started with of how God created man, how God had a different plan for man, how man did what they wanted to do. How God continues to follow man because he loves. And for everyone this morning, I'm reading to you from the book of Matthew, the 11th chapter, the 28th verse. Matthew the 11th chapter, the 28th verse that says, Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Hallelujah. Amen. Jesus is telling you and me this morning, irrespective of the past, keeping aside whatever your current relationship status with Jesus is, maybe you've not contacted him in a while. Maybe you've not reached out to him. Maybe you've forgotten him. Or maybe you have a relationship with him every day. Praise God for that. But Jesus is telling you and me this beautiful morning, and he's calling on to you today. And I just love this passage of scripture, and I'm gonna read it again to you. Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Hallelujah. I want to tell you, Jesus is not sending you anywhere else, He's not pointing you in any other direction, He's not asking you to take a trip, He's not asking you to sit in any space, He's not asking you to read any book. He's telling you this morning, come to me, and I will give you rest. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning. You know, sometimes uh maybe some of you are in a fabulous position right now, and there's nothing bothering you, and praise God for that, because everything comes from God. The Bible says growth comes from God, multiplication comes from God. Hallelujah. And if you're not in a position where you are in a tough spot right now, praise God for that. But for some of you, maybe something is weighing you down. Maybe you're laboring with something that's personal or professional. Maybe you know you're carrying some sort of a load with you, which is uh maybe a financial, a mental burden, maybe even a health-related matter. But this beautiful morning, I want to tell you from the one who was abandoned and left alone on a cross, he is still calling out to you and me this morning and saying, Come to me and I will give you rest. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You know, the book of Matthew and um um uh towards the end, you know, there's a time, actually, it's in all the gospels, but there's a time when Jesus has now formed a bond with his disciples, and there's a time when he knows that he's going to go, and he tells them that he's about to go, and one of you is going to betray me. And his disciples turn around and say, Who is it? And each of them asks, Is it I, is it I? Is it I, O Lord? And he tells them that none of y'all will be with me at the time when I am going to be hung on a cross, or when I'm going to be betrayed into the hands of man to death. And there's one loyal who turns around and tells him, Lord, there's no way that I will deny you. And Jesus turns around and tells him that three times before the cock crows in the morning, you will deny me. Three times. And that Jesus, who was left all alone on that cross, even by his most loyal, is telling you and me this morning, come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Hallelujah. He will give you rest. I want to tell you, I told you there are many things that happen in life, and Jesus has put these words together so beautifully because he's talking about being heavy laden, which means you could be carrying a weight on your back, on your shoulders, something, anything. Weary, there are times in life when, and you know, you really should look up the meaning of these words. As per the worldly understanding, the word weary and the word burdened, it gives you a very different uh understanding of what uh you know what uh it uh what kind of meaning it actually has to the entire situation. And you must understand that yet God was here on this planet so many years before you and I were even probably even here. He's telling you this morning, if you're weary weary and burdened, he will give you rest, and you should really understand no matter what weight you are carrying, Jesus is telling you this morning, Come to me, and I will give you rest. Amen. Philippians 4 7. Philippines 4 7 says, The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah. The peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. This is for somebody this morning. The peace of God is upon you today. The peace of God that passes all understanding will guard your heart and your mind. What a beautiful passage of scripture. You should really mark this down. Philippians 4 7, even 4 6 is beautiful because it says don't be anxious about anything. And those of you who don't know, if you ever go to any search engine and find out what are the reasons of the highest amount of deaths on the planet, it's stress. And here, God is telling you and me that the peace of God will surpass, that surpasses all understanding and all comprehension, something you cannot even understand, will protect your heart and your mind. Hallelujah. In Christ Jesus, of course, everything is only in Christ Jesus. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning, you'll say, I have my own problem. You'll say, Oh Lord, you don't understand my situation. You'll say, Oh Lord, you don't know what I'm going through. I want to tell you something. The Bible says his thoughts are not our thoughts, his ways are not our ways. They are far above us, they're far and beyond what you can think. And I urge you this morning to don't try and make sense of the scripture, it's the word of God, the peace of God will protect your heart and mind today in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And this is for someone in particular. You know the Bible says he leaves the 99 and he goes after the one and and this is for you. Whatever your situation. Isaiah 42 3 says, a bruce reed, he will not break. A smoldering flax, he will not quench. He will bring forth justice for truth. Hallelujah. Another version says, a bent reed, he will not break off, and a dimly burning wick he will not extinguish, he will faithfully bring forth justice. Hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture. And as I said, this is for someone, you know, sometimes there are certain situations that just take you to that edge. You know, where you feel now I can't do this anymore. I can't do this anymore. There's nothing more that I can do, and I give up. I give in to the situation. But I'm here to reassure you this beautiful morning through the word of God, which says, no matter what your situation, first Jesus is calling you unto Him, saying, Come unto me, come unto me, don't go anywhere else. You come to me, and I will give you rest. And a bent read, he will not break. Sometimes your situation can make you bend. Maybe something you're going through has really, as I said, put you at the edge. But remember, through this passage of scripture, and as I said, you should mark it because your father loves you no matter what we have done unto him, he remains faithful. The Bible says we are faithless, but he remains faithful. Hallelujah. He will not break it off. A dimly burning wick. He will not let it extinguish. If you understand this passage of scripture, it says he will faithfully bring forth justice. Hallelujah. For someone today, I want to tell you that God is stepping into your situation. The Lord will not let your situation go above you. He will not let the water go above your head. He will manage it for you. Hallelujah. And I have an example to share with you this beautiful morning, and maybe you'll relate to it. I've told you multiple times, the day you understand this, this will help you. We don't fight an earthly battle. We fight a battle in the spirituals. And the day you understand that, you will realize that you and I can't do much about these battles because they're not in flesh and blood. As the Bible calls it, we battle not with flesh and blood, we battle instead with principalities and things of the darkness. And that should just tell you enough through the word of God that you can't do anything about these battles on this planet. And that's why I have this wonderful example for you because all these things they manifest in the real life that we live in through the problems that we face. And that's why our fathers always said, Under my wings you will take refuge. And if you understand that there's only one thing that can save you from that is Jesus. And I'll give you an example today for somebody who understood what I'm trying to tell you. And it's it's from a time in the uh in the life of Elisha. Elisha was a powerful man of God. He had double proportion of the anointing that Elijah had. So you can only imagine what um what kind of faith he operated in. He was next level. And there's this time when, you know, there are uh there are actually four armies that come against the king of Egypt, uh the king of Israel. And I'm gonna cut that story really short. And there's this time when they find out, um, because you know they're they're constantly making plans, and every time they make plans to capture the king, the king escapes. And these kings get together and they say, How is this possible? And then somebody says, You know, Lord, I mean, king, there's this guy in the land, his name is Elisha. What you say in private, God goes and tells Elisha, and Elisha goes and tells the king, and that's how he saves himself every time. So these guys get super uh enraged, and they're like, Let's go and catch this guy, Elisha, first. So I want to tell you that they send three armies, and you can read it, it's in the book of Kings, 2nd Kings, the sixth chapter onwards. They send three armies, they send a huge army to catch one man called Elisha. And uh for those of you who know Elisha had a servant called Gehazi or Gehazi or Gehazi. And the Bible just says Gehazi steps out of the house and he sees that these armies have surrounded the city and they're in a city called Dothan. And he comes back running and he says, Master, what are we about to do? What are we going to do? There are three armies that have surrounded the city, and you have to understand this. I told you, I'm giving you this example for you to understand that Elisha knew this world, he knew the spiritual world, and he just turns to Gehazi and he says, Oh Lord, open his eyes that he may see. Hallelujah. And he tells him, Gehazi, Gehazi, those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you that Elisha understood this, and which is why he asked for God to open his eyes, spiritualize Lord, open his eyes that he may see, and the Bible says he stepped out and he saw chariots and horses of fire surrounding those armies. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. You'll say you don't understand it's Elisha. You don't understand. God did it because Elisha understood the way God works, and if you understand the way God operates, he's not a respecter of men. What he did for Elisha, he will do for you. Amen. I'm not getting to the end of the story because basically they marched them into the center of the city, and just because he's God, he feeds them and he sends them back just to let them know that he's sovereign. And how dare you even come against mine? Hallelujah. If you understand that you've been purchased by Jesus, you have been purchased by his blood, you will understand that in that spiritual world, God sees you as even higher than Elisha because Elisha was not purchased by a blood pressure. If you understand what I mean, the way God will operate in your life is the way you see Him operating. Hallelujah. Isaiah 59 1. This is for someone here. Behold, the hand of the Lord is not short. Another version says it's not shortened that it cannot save. Noise ear heavy that it cannot hear. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Isaiah 59 1. Behold, the Lord's hand is not short that it cannot save. Noise is here heavy that he cannot hear. Yeah, that was for you. I think you know who you are. Hallelujah. Come to me. Jesus says, Come to me. Call unto me and I will answer. The Bible says, Jesus says, Come to me. Those of you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I will give you rest. Hallelujah. The creator of heaven and earth came down on this planet to get on a cross for you and me. And that creator is telling you this beautiful morning, come to me and I will give you rest. Understand that the earth is his footstool. If you understand what's a footstool, some of you might even have it at home. You will only understand that when you put your faith in him, he will send his armies concerning you. Call unto him. His ear is not heavy, that he cannot hear you. Remember that. And as I said, you can mark down that scripture, it's Isaiah 59.1. And his hand is not short. His hand is far from short that he cannot save. I want to tell you, God's throne is in the same place. It's always been in the same place. Maybe you have moved. And this beautiful morning, in the words of Jesus, I want to tell you, call unto him. And he will answer you. Call unto him. He will take away your burden. Call unto him. He will show you great and mighty things you know not of. Call unto him. Those who are weary and heavy laden, if you have any weight on you, he will give you rest and he will, as he did for Elisha, he will call his armies concerning you. There's another passage of scripture I want to tell you, it says, You are mine. If you only understand what that means, the creator of heaven and earth is telling you and me this morning, you are mine. And then he goes on to say the number of things that he has given as ransom for you. And if you understand, that's an old testament scripture, and I will tell you after that he gave his son that you only should understand this beautiful morning, that you have no clue on what he will do for you. If you only understood that you just need to call out to him and he will come. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray, dear Lord, and thank you for this beautiful time. I thank you, Lord, for your presence that people can feel. Thank you, Lord, a Bruce Reed. You will not break a smouldering wick. You will not snuff out until you bring justice to victory, Lord. I bring all your people's situations at your feet. I leave them with you. And for everyone, Lord, who has put their faith in you, who has turned to you, Lord, I thank you that you will take your yoke and put it upon them. Take away their yoke, Lord, and give them yours because your yoke is easy, your burden is light. And I bring all those situations, Lord, that are burdening them and that are making them weary. And we leave it at your feet. And we thank you, Lord, that you are taking those situations and giving them rest. Hallelujah. Just as you did for Elisha, Lord, I thank you that you will leave these situations to the angels concerning us and concerning each and every one of your people. And they will protect their feet from dashing against the rock as a line to your word, Lord. Thank you for this beautiful time. Thank you, Lord, for your presence that's on this platform. I know people can feel you. I thank you, Lord, that we are yours. As your word says, you are mine. And I will give lands and Egypt by your ransom. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, for being faithful though we remain faithless, Lord. Thank you for this beautiful time where you have changed situations. Thank you. This is for someone this beautiful morning. I thank you, Lord, that you prepare a table in the presence of our enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen. Thank you, Lord, for going before us and making every crooked path straight. Thank you, Lord, for taking away our burden. Thank you for this beautiful time. Thank you for all the things that have already been changed in the spirituals. Your people will know it's you and you alone. Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful time. In Jesus' name I pray.
