A rainbow is often seen as something beautiful — a moment of colour across the sky after the rain. But did you know that the rainbow was never just a visual wonder.
It was a sign of a covenant.

From the very beginning, God established covenants with mankind — promises, pledges, and sacred commitments that revealed His heart toward humanity across generations.

And He kept making these covenants with men until it was time for a ...
A final covenant.
A new covenant.
One that would change everything.

So what does the word “covenant” really mean?
Is it simply an agreement?
Or is it something deeper — a bond, a promise, a lasting commitment made by God Himself?

“In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.”
Hebrews‬ ‭8‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In this episode, we explore how God’s covenants unfold throughout the Bible, from Genesis to the New Testament, and why the New Covenant was sealed not with something temporary like silver or gold — but through the precious blood of Christ.

• What is the true significance of the cross?
• Why did redemption require such a price?
• How does the rainbow connect to Jesus?
• And what does the New Covenant mean for our lives today?

The cross was never just a moment in history or a scene from a film.
It was the fulfilment of an everlasting promise — a promise of redemption, grace, and reconciliation with God.

From Eden To Exile

SPEAKER_00

Morning, I want each of you to pay attention and stick with me. We'll be going through timelines very important aspects in the word of God. So be with me this beautiful morning. And I'm as I said, I'm getting straight into it. And I want to start with the beginning. Or mid. And he made man and woman. Man, and he decided that he needed a partner and he made woman or mid. In his own image, the Bible says called them uh called the Garden of Eden for them to live in. It's beautiful that you should read it in the book of Genesis. He basically tells them that they can live there and eat from every tree that was there. That they could eat from the fruit button. Two of the trees that were there. I'm leaving that story aside. Made a place, as I said, for them to stay there. It happens, and they have to leave the Garden of Eden. And then they have kids. Just as interacted just as he interacted with Adam and Eve. And for those of you who don't know, he would walk in the deep garden and interact with them. Talk to them. I also want to tell you the Bible says that God called all the animals and Adam named them. Undocumented in the Bible. I want to tell you that the human race continues after Cain and Abel. And again, also talks to Cain and Abel.

Noah And The Flood Judgment

SPEAKER_00

The Bible says that Noah and his family find favor and grace in the eyes of God. He tells Noah that he's to take his family in the ark. He gives them instructions. He's to take seven each. Male and female. Seven each. Every bird. I want to tell you that after he does that, God has rained on the earth forty days and forty nights. You should get watered from the ground up. The first time that the earth seems rain, that is water coming from the sky from the clouds. But basically, unfortunately for people at that time, God decided that he wanted to destroy all the flesh on the planet is how the Bible puts it. He wanted to destroy He wanted to destroy women, he wanted to destroy the beast of the air, and the birds of the sea. What happened? Because God was not happy with the way things were going. In fact, the book of Genesis even explains why he's angry, but I'm not gonna get into that. You should read it and find out.

The Rainbow As Covenant Sign

SPEAKER_00

After the flood makes a covenant and living creature. Beautifully put because it's in the words of God and said it makes up covenant, and he's speaking to Noah as I said, because now there's no one else left. It's Noah and his family that are on the ark, and as I said, seven million female of clean animals, two of mil and female of unclean animals, and seven million female clean of woods. Um that's it. Before he lets them come back out of the ark, he makes a covenant and mankind and living creatures. You will never again destroy the earth. You would never destroy the human race of all living creatures. To you from the word of God from the book of Genesis, the ninth chapter, um the 12th verse onwards, and it's beautiful. God makes a covenant never to destroy the earth again with water. And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between me and you, and every living creature that is with you. Hallelujah. I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Hallelujah. So, as I told you, I I I have a very interesting word this beautiful morning, and it's a beautiful word, but some of you don't even know this, so every time you look at the rainbow, you should know it's a covenant that God has made with mankind after Noah, that He will never again destroy the earth with water. He will never destroy the flesh on the earth or the living creatures, and that's the sign of his covenant. Hallelujah. I'll read it for you again in case you missed it. It's Genesis the 9th, chapter, the 12th and 13th. Uh, God said that this is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you, and every living creature that is here with you. I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. And you can read the previous few uh verses that says, you know, that he basically God commits that he will never destroy the earth again with water.

What A Covenant Really Means

SPEAKER_00

And I want to tell you this beautiful morning: what is the covenant? The dictionary defines the word covenant as an agreement, as a bond, a pledge, a commitment. These are all strong words. And I want to tell you that God made a covenant with Noah, that he would never again destroy the earth with a flood, and the rainbow is the sign of his commitment to mankind and to all flesh. And I want to tell you, for those of you who don't know this, God made a covenant with Adam, he made a covenant with Noah, he made a covenant with Abraham, he made a covenant with Moses, he made a covenant with David, just to name a few. These names that I took a tremendous amount of faith, and that's the reason why also God wanted to make a covenant with them. But to each of these names that I mentioned, and as I said, these are just a few that I'm mentioning to you. When God made a covenant with them, there were terms and conditions, there were promises included in it, there were certain things that they needed to follow, and certain things they needed to do, and certain things that they were not supposed to do. There were a lot of rules and regulations, and that's how I like to call the difference between the Old Testament and the New. But nevertheless, God has made covenants with these men and these uh names that I mentioned, as I said, just to name a few. But this beautiful morning, I want to share with you something really deep. And as I said when I began, I need you to stay with me this beautiful morning and stick with what I'm sharing with you through the Word of God. And

Hebrews And The New Covenant

SPEAKER_00

I'm moving now to the book of Hebrews from the New Testament. And I want to tell you that just as God made multiple covenants with men of the old, God made a covenant with mankind without them even knowing it. God made a covenant with you and me, with our bloodlines, with our families, with our ancestors, our forefathers, you call them what you want. But he decided to make a covenant with mankind without you and me even knowing it. And Hebrews, the eighth chapter, the seventh verse, is a sign of it through the word of God. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Hallelujah. This beautiful passage of scripture is setting the foundation, saying that there was a covenant, and as I said, I'd like to add the alphabet to the word covenant, and all these names that I just took to you, God made covenants with them. But it says that if the first covenant would have been faultless, there would have been no place for a second. As I said, stick with me, and then Hebrews 8 13 goes on to say, and in that he says, A new covenant he has made. Hallelujah. The first is obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Hallelujah. So I told you God has made a covenant with multiple people, and for some reason, for some reason, and I'll tell you what that reason is, he decided that he's going to make a covenant with mankind without you and I even knowing it. A new covenant that he's making for mankind, and the first one will be obsolete, which means any past promises, any past covenants, any past commitments are just going to be rewritten as new because this passage of scripture clearly says he has made the first obsolete. Of course, he's the one who made the earth, he's the one who set the planets in place, the stars where they are, the moon and the sun. And if he made a covenant, he has also decided that he's making a new covenant. And it's up to him, of course. Hallelujah. As I said, stick with me this morning, as it's a bit deep. And

Sealed By Blood Through Christ

SPEAKER_00

I want to reassure you this morning that to seal this covenant and to make an everlasting covenant with mankind, God sent his son. And for those of you who don't understand this, he sealed this covenant with his blood. Hallelujah. And I want to tell you that this is a it's a blood bond, it's a blood oath, it's a blood seal of this new covenant that he wanted to make with mankind. And unfortunately, it had to be sealed with the blood of his son. And I want to tell you that you know, in the entire Bible, there are times when God asked man to make sacrifices to him, sacrifices of grain of the field and sacrifices of livestock and you know stuff that he wants us to do as a giving and an offering to him because he wants to release his blessings upon us. But I want to tell you for this new covenant, God also sacrificed his best, and he sacrificed his son. And as I said, you know what? A lot of people say, No, this uh is not what I believe, but you know what? I'm gonna share it with you from the word of God and not through my knowledge. 1 Peter 1, 18. That's 1 Peter, the first chapter. And I'll give you some time to turn to it because it's a book that you can miss very easily. Or if you're going to your apps, take your time to find this one. 1 Peter 1, the 18th verse onwards says, Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like gold or silver, for your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot, he indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but it was manifest in these last times for you. Hallelujah. And this is a very deep passage of scripture, but I'm gonna make it very easy for you and give it to you in the in layman's terms. Understand this morning through this passage of scripture that you were not redeemed by corruptible things, which means you were not redeemed, or a covenant was not made for you with stuff of the planet, diamonds and platinum. Because I think when this book was written, I think silver and gold was the only thing that was found on the planet. But I'd like to take it a step ahead. So there's no silver and gold, there's no diamonds and platinum that is put aimless for our aimless conduct. You're not been purchased by corruptible things, the Bible calls it silver, gold, diamonds, and platinum, corruptible things, but instead with the precious blood of Christ, hallelujah, as a lamb without blemish and without spot. He was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world and was manifest for you. Oh, hallelujah. I told you today is a deep word, and you need to be aligned to understand what this means. God made a He made a covenant from the very first beginning. It's in the first book, it's from the book of Genesis. And if you know, I actually went chronologically and I stopped at Noah because the first covenant was made with Adam, the second covenant was made with his son, who was Cain and Abel, the third covenant was made with his next bloodline, and it just goes on and I stopped at Noah because God kept making covenants with man, and man kept turning away from God. And then he must have decided there's something I need to do. I can't keep doing this. And somebody decided that they will step up for you and me and make a permanent covenant that will span all times at timelines, time zones.

The Cost Of The Cross

SPEAKER_00

I want to tell you this beautiful morning. For those of you who don't understand, he paid a very precious price for you and me. And it was a very brutal manner in which he paid it. I want to tell you, Jesus came on this planet. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords came down on this planet to seal a new covenant for you and me. And I want to tell you, he was beaten. He was flogged, he was whipped. They looked horns and they put it on his head. And they mocked him and they spat on him. They struck him with his hands. With their hands. And then they took him to a cross to be crucified. And let me tell you, it's not like he didn't know he was coming on this planet to do this for you and me because the Bible says it was indeed foreordained. Since even before the foundation of the world, I don't know anyone who would do that for me. I know a lot of people who love me. But I don't know anyone who would do that for me. I have a son and a family who I love a lot. But doing that for someone is just uh it's it's next level. So I told you it's a very heavy price that he has paid. And has God decided that he's made covenant after covenant after covenant. In fact, at one time he even destroyed the earth. And then he comes back and says, I need to make a new covenant. Hey, I told you it's none of me, it's coming to you from the word of God. These all scriptures I'm sharing with you. It's not my take on the matter. And then finally, Jesus decides he's going to come on this planet and seal that covenant for you and me forever. Hallelujah. And it was a very heavy price. And let me tell you, some of these movies make it look easy. They make it look easy, even though you think that looks gory, it is nothing compared to what Jesus went on that cross and did for you and me. It's just not it's not a small little cut on the palm and a little bit of blood coming out from here or there, like the old movie show it. It was a very heavy and a painful price. From the book of John, the sixth chapter, the 57th and the 58th verse. From the book of John, the sixth chapter, the 57th and the 58th verse, just as the living father sent me in the words of Jesus, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats me, he also will live because of me. Hallelujah. This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died, but the one who eats this will live forever. Hallelujah. I told you today's word is deep. It's not uh it's not one of those easy words, but if you listen, pay attention, mark these scriptures down and read it in your own time and meditate on it. I want to tell you you will get it and you will understand why Jesus came on this planet. Hallelujah. And I want to reassure you this beautiful morning. He didn't just come down for one person, he came down for anyone and everyone who would put their faith in him, and that's why he says in this beautiful scripture that my father sent me, and anyone who believes in me will eat of the bread where they will live forever. Not like their fathers ate and died, but this bread will live forever. Hallelujah. I told you it's a very deep word, but you need to understand it. So the word of God is a beautiful word, and I want to tell you that this new covenant that I talked about from the book of Hebrew, this new covenant was sealed by the blood of the sinless Lamb of God, foreordained to come down on this planet for you and me. And

Eternal Life And Promises Yes Amen

SPEAKER_00

for those of you you thinking, why what is this covenant? What is this covenant? Why did he make this covenant? Hey, I've only heard of his name. Yeah, I don't believe in him. So why will this covenant, why will this covenant even be? Let me tell you something. I started with telling you that God made covenants with many, many human beings, and he had clauses to them, and he had do's and don'ts, and a lot of things going on. But I want to tell you why Jesus came down to this planet, and that's because he decided to save us from eternal damnation to save us from going to a place where I don't even want to mention this beautiful morning and to have eternal life that whomsoever believes in him will not perish and have eternal life. Hallelujah. And the second thing is from the book of Corinthians, and for those of you who don't know it, turn to the second of Corinthians, the first chapter of the 20th verse, and I'll reassure it for you this morning. For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him, amen. To the glory of God through us, hallelujah. For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him, amen, to the glory of God through us, hallelujah. I want to tell you, Jesus came on this planet so that every blessing on this book is combined and now is on to you and me, and anyone who puts their faith in Jesus, yes, and amen to the one who believes in him. Hallelujah. To anyone who believes that God sent his son down on this planet to die on a cross for you and me. And today, when you put your faith in him, believe he is king, know he rose on the third day. He's seated and alive at the right hand of God. For them, now all things are yea and amen through Jesus. Hallelujah. I want to tell you again, you need to understand that Jesus paid a very heavy price. Lot of things have happened in the past, and that is the reason why it's called the Old Testament and the New, the thing that divides everything on this planet, and even timelines on this planet, AD and B C is all about just Jesus being here and after his death, as simple as that. And he came down on this planet to make a permanent covenant with mankind, to purchase you and me from eternal destruction and death. And there was only one way to do it. Don't ask me why. I'm not the one who set the foundation. This is how the foundation was set. He came down here to seal that covenant. I told you, for those of you who want to understand what's a covenant, it's a bond, it's a commitment. He decided to come down and seal that commitment, that bond with his blood. It was a blood bond. Those days are gone. I've seen olden movies where people used to cut their wrists and then shake hands, cut palms and shake hands. That's a blood bond. Jesus decided to come down on this planet and give up his life for you. That's a blood bond. That encompasses the entire planet for anyone who will put their faith in the Son of the Most High. And

Call Unto Him And He Answers

SPEAKER_00

this beautiful morning, I want to tell you. It doesn't say call unto me if you know me. It just says, Call unto me and I will answer. And this beautiful morning, I leave it to you. No, you should understand that Jesus came on this planet to die on the cross for you and me, just so that you are added to this beautiful bond, to this beautiful covenant that He has decided to make with mankind. Just as that rainbow is in the sky, for you to know that God will never again destroy the planet with floods. Jesus came on this planet to give up his life on a cross just to make a bond and a covenant with you. That he's always there for you. And this beautiful morning, I want to tell you that in case you don't know him, or maybe you're not acquainted with him, maybe you've just heard his name, call onto him and he will answer you. Don't lose track of the one who came down on this planet to die for you and me. He came down on this planet to make a permanent covenant with you and your entire line after you, your families, your lineage, after and before you, just so that you'll be aligned to not going into destruction, and you'll be aligned to each and every blessing in the Bible, which is only yes and amen through Jesus.

Prayer For Protection And Faith

SPEAKER_00

Hallelujah. I'd like to pray. For your double-edged sword that does not go back until it has achieved what it has to, Lord. I thank you, Lord, that you're changing hearts. I thank you, Lord, that you've opened hearts. Thank you, Lord. For giving up your life on a cross. And I thank you, Lord, for taking up that cross. I thank you, Lord, as your word says. When we call unto you, you will answer. And I know as people will call onto you, you will answer them. You will be with them at their right hand, as your word says, and they will know that you are the redeemer. And they are not purchased by the corruptible things on this planet, but they're purchased by a beautiful blood. I thank you for your sacrifice, Lord. I thank you for your presence that some people can feel. I thank you that we are faithless. Yet you remain faithful, Lord. Thank you for your beautiful presence this beautiful day. Thank you for coming down on this planet just for us. I thank you, Lord, that for those, this is for someone, how many of you, this beautiful day, for those who put their faith in you, there's a hedge of protection for them. And right now I claim your word upon your sacrifice on that cross, that under your wings we shall take refuge. A thousand may fall at our side and ten thousand at our right, but it will not come near us. You are a shield and buckler. Thank you for hedge your protection around us, Lord. We will not fear the pestilence by day nor the arrow by night. We will not have to bother about the foul of snee. Because you are with us. You are at our right hand. We are yours, purchased and redeemed by your precious blood, and under your opinions, we are safe. Thank you, Jesus, for this beautiful time. Thank you for your beautiful presence. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
