Many of us know what it feels like to be left behind.

To be misunderstood.
To be rejected.
To be betrayed by the very people we hoped would stay.

These experiences leave wounds that can shape how we see ourselves, others, and even God.

But what if God's love is completely different from the love we've experienced in the world?

In this episode, we reflect on the everlasting love of God—a love that remains constant, compassionate, and unchanging, even when everything around us feels uncertain.

"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you."
- Jeremiah 31:3

What does it mean to be loved with an everlasting love?

  • How does God's love respond when we feel rejected or abandoned?
  • What can we learn from the life of Jesus, who faced betrayal, denial, rejection, and suffering—yet continued to love?
  • And how can experiencing God's love transform the way we respond to difficult people and situations?

When Jesus walked the earth, He understood heartbreak. He knew what it felt like to be misunderstood, abandoned, and betrayed. Yet His response was always rooted in compassion, mercy, and love.

His love wasn't based on how people treated Him.
It flowed from who He was.

So what happens when we begin to see ourselves through the lens of God's love rather than our circumstances?

And what if the breakthrough you're waiting for begins with a simple act of love?

If you're feeling stuck and nothing seems to be moving, we invite you to take one practical step this week: infuse love into the situation. Make the call. Send the text. Offer forgiveness. Show up with kindness.

Because sometimes love becomes the very thing God uses to bring healing, restoration, and hope.

A Haunted Man Meets Jesus

Today I want to start straight with a story when Jesus was on this planet, and it comes from the book of uh Mark, the fifth chapter. And I'm getting straight into it, and uh Jesus is in this place, it's called it's called Gadderens. Uh it was called Gadrens at that time, and it's uh today's Jordan, it's a place in Jordan. And the Bible says that Jesus gets off his boat with his disciples, so he's you know gone. Uh, for most of you who know, he's to travel from one place to the other, spreading the good news of the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, healing people. And there's this time when he sits in a boat and he goes across from the mountain that he's on to the other side. And the Bible says that the moment he gets off the boat, he meets a man with an unclean spirit who's living near the tombs. So the way I see it, he's probably you know reach the outskirts of the city through the mountain, or you know, at the back of the mountain, or maybe um since he's in the boat, clearly he's come from the seaside. And it's probably that part of the land where you know they would bury the dead. And the Bible clearly says that he comes across this man with an unclean spirit near the tombs. And the Bible says that no one could putting it put this man in shackles or in chains, as they have done that before, and the chains would be pulled apart, and the shackles were broken. And the Bible says, always, day and night, he was in the mountains and in the tombs crying out and cutting himself with stones. Wow, that must have been a really difficult situation for this man. And anyway, the Bible says when Jesus sees him from afar, he runs towards Jesus and worships him. Hallelujah. And he cries out with a loud voice, saying, What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore you by God that you do not torment me. Then God uh Jesus says to him, Come out of the man, unclean spirit. And then he asks them, What is your name? And he answers back to Jesus, saying, My name is Legion, for we are many. Scary. And then he also begs Jesus not to put him out of the country, excuse me, and that there's a large herd of swine on the mountain that's there. So this man begs Jesus, the demons beg Jesus to send them to the swines that they may enter them, and Jesus gives them permission to do so. And the Bible says the unclean spirits entered the swine, the herd ran violently down the steep place and drowned in the sea. And the Bible says there were about two thousand. Wow. I told you, I'm just sharing a story from a time when Jesus was on this planet and I think this was um it's a very unique story. And it's not something that you know most people like to hear about, you know, somebody who's possessed by a demon. And in fact, this case is so different that this person is possessed by 2,000 demons. And I've already told the story to you, and I'm not getting into it. And it so goes on that, you know, the herdsmen who were taking care of the swine go and tell the people in the city what has happened. And the people in the city come out and they see this man who they knew was demon-possessed, who they probably tried to uh, you know, put in chains and shackles, and you know, he lived in the tombs and the mountains, and as the Bible says, he would scream day and night and cut himself with the stones. And now they suddenly see this man whole and normal. And the Bible says they get scared at seeing what Jesus has done, and they tell Jesus to leave the place. And without any argument, Jesus, the Bible says, goes and sits in the boat to leave the place, and the demon-possessed man goes after him because he wants to follow him, he wants to go with him. Obviously, he's changed his life, you should imagine, the kind of situation this man was in. And he begs that he wants to be with him, and Jesus, and this is the important part here, does not permit him to do so, but he says to him, Go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you and how he has had compassion on you. Hallelujah. Go home, tell your friends what great things the Lord has done for you and how he has had compassion on you. What a beautiful story for some of you. I know it's uh it's a life-changing experience, and I can tell you it was a beautiful, life-changing experience for this demon-possessed man from Gad Reens when Jesus walked into his life. I can't even imagine what it might be to have 2,000 demons around, and Jesus changes his life completely. Hallelujah. And today I want to leave you with this, and this is the crux of uh the word

The Town Rejects A Miracle

that I want to get into. And I have a short word actually today, but it's an important one. I want to tell you again, Jesus was asked to leave Gadderens, and he didn't argue, he didn't bat an eyelid, he didn't try and force himself onto the situation. And I want to tell you, the Bible says that he came to seek and save that which was lost. And he was traveling from region to region just to spread his the word of God, to spread the good news of the kingdom of God. He knew his work, but he never batted an eyelid when they asked him to leave Gadderenes, and he left. The Bible does not even mention him going back to Gadderenes, and that's sad for the city. But here's the beautiful thing. Even in the time when Jesus was asked to leave without a single word, when Jesus was asked to leave without even sowing anything about the kingdom of God or the kingdom of heaven or the good news, he has decided to just leave back one seed in the region of Gadderenes, and I'll tell you what that seed is. Jesus asked the man to stay back and tell the people that the Lord has compassion. Hallelujah. The Lord has compassion on you. He says it in the book of Matthew, the fifth chapter, the 19th verse. Go report to your friends, your family, the people that the Lord has compassion on you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He has compassion on you. He cares for you. He loves you. Hallelujah. And as I told you, Jesus was not allowed to do anything in the region of Gadderines. And I want to tell you it's not a city, it's a region. It's a big place. And though he was not allowed to do anything, he didn't force himself onto the situation or the place, he just left back one seed, the seed called love. Hallelujah. And what best example to leave than a man who was demon-possessed, known in the entire region, probably feared by most people, even while they were going to the tombs or the mountains, knowing fully well that there's this man that lives there. And he left that man to sow the seed called love.

One Seed Left Behind

Hallelujah. And I want to tell you this beautiful day. You know, we've all had times, um, all of us have had times where we've had people leave us. Maybe some of you have even had times when people have asked you to leave. You know, people have turned on their word or their promise to you. Family, friends, relatives, spouses. Maybe some of you have had people give false testimony against you, which can leave you in a very low place. Maybe some of you have depended on someone or some people or a group with your life, and they have decided to leave you and go. But I want to tell you this morning, whatever your situation is, and you might feel lost because I know all of us at some point of time in this planet have gone through this. But I want to tell you this morning that Jesus has compassion on you. Jesus loves you. And I want to tell you there's a reason why he came on this planet. It's just one thing is to sow the seed of love. And we all know the meaning of love. And uh, you know, I told you I have a short word today, but um, it's important to understand we all have love on this planet. We love someone. When I say the word love, you'll have somebody who pops up in your head, maybe multiple people. So we know what's love. But I want to tell you that we have our love has a very different understanding. And God's love for you and me and all of us has a very different kind of love. Hallelujah. And I'll come to it from the word of God. Don't don't take my word for it, take God's word for it. And for some, you know, for some of you in this particular this particular morning, maybe you've been seeking love in another place, maybe you've been seeking love, um, I don't know, in another channel. But I want to tell you this morning that love is conditional, that kind of love that you are seeking and that you've probably even got and still not giving you the satisfaction you need is because it's conditional. And just as everything on this planet, God has said, it will melt and fade away and decay and rust. But I want to tell you that his love has always been there for you, and maybe you are pushing it away. Maybe that's not the love that you want. Maybe, as I said, you're going somewhere else to find that love. And I will tell you this morning through the word of God, I want to assure you that that love has limits. Whatever you're seeking, that love has limits. But God's love has no limits. Hallelujah. He's waiting for you with open arms, he's waiting for you to turn to him because his love for you is everlasting love. Hallelujah. I'd like you all

When People Leave And You Feel Lost

to go to this beautiful book and the scriptures for you this beautiful morning. For those of you who, and by the way, all of us have gone through this in our lives, you know, where somebody we love has hurt us. And this is for you a beautiful promise from the book of Jeremiah, one of the most beautiful books by the prophet Jeremiah, the book, uh, chapter 31, verse 3 and 4. Jeremiah 31, 3 and 4 says, The Lord has appeared of all to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Hallelujah. Therefore, with loving kindness I have drawn you, and this is for someone, and I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt. Oh, you virgin of Israel, you shall again be adorned with tambourines, hallelujah, and shall go forth in the dances of those with rejoice who rejoice, hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture. Some of you have a different version. Uh, I'm reading the NKJV, and it's just beautiful. And I'm gonna I'm gonna read it to you again from the book of Jeremiah 31, 3 and 4. The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love, an everlasting love. Therefore, with loving kindness, I have drawn you. Again, I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt. What a beautiful passage of scripture. Oh, you virgin of Israel, you shall again be adorned with your tambourines and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. I want to tell you this beautiful morning. For those of you who are feeling it, and I know you are feeling it, it's God's love. God's love for you is everlasting. God's love for you is unconditional, and with love, he's calling you to him. This beautiful morning, and that's what the scripture means. With everlasting love, I'm drawing you to me. And this, as I said, it's for someone, maybe it's for everyone. He will build you, he will rebuild you. The creator of heaven and earth will rebuild you. Amen. And with the sound of tambourines, you will dance and go forward. Hallelujah. You know, there's this time, and this is not even in my notes, but there's this time when you know, in the old testament, God's presence was in the ark of the covenant, and uh I'm sorry, it was it was man-made, but he had promised his people that his presence will be in the ark, and there's this time when David is taking the ark back to the city, his city, Israel, his country, and the city is Jerusalem. And I want to tell you that there's this time when he's bringing the city back, uh, the ark back to the city of Jerusalem, and he's dancing in front of it. And he's a king, and

Everlasting Love From Jeremiah

he dances in an undignified manner, the Bible says. As I said, it can have the meaning that you understand. I don't know the meaning of undignified. I have a definition of it of an undignified dance. I know what that's like. It's one of those local dances, hallelujah! And that's what this passage of scripture is saying with sounds of tambourines, you will dance and go forward, amen. Only and only, not because you've done anything, only because he loves you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Some of you, this beautiful morning. As I said, it's it's only human and only normal to seek love in different places because we don't see God in our daily life. You see people in

Nothing Separates Us From Love

front of you, you see things around you, but you don't see God, you don't see the spiritual world. And hence we look for love in places which we can see. It's a human thing, I told you before. I've done it too. And there's someone you're thinking, or maybe a group of you who think that God has turned away from you this morning. I want to tell you through his word, I told you all the answers that I will give you will be through his word. I want to tell you this morning he hasn't. The world will make you believe that he has. That guy who comes to lie, steal, and destroy will make you believe that he has, but I want to tell you he has not. And here's your answer from the book of Romans, the eighth chapter, the 39th. Romans the 8th chapter, the 30th and the 39th verse says, For I am persuaded, hallelujah, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen. Hallelujah. And I'm gonna I'm not gonna read this passage of scripture again because this is one of those that you want to sit and you want to meditate on, because the words that are used in the scripture will encompass everything that ever has been, ever will be, and that will ever come, whether real time, or whether in the spiritual world will still not be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. Oh, hallelujah! For those of you who understand this, this will be a life-changing moment for you, just as that man in Gadderenes, whose life changed. The Bible doesn't even say how long he was in that state, but I can tell you his life changed the day he met Jesus, and that's the one seed Jesus decided to leave. Because he came on this planet just to sow one seed. That seed is love. Hallelujah. Nothing, I want to reassure you this morning, nothing can separate you from the love that God has for you. If you think it's not there, it's because you have shifted focus and that you are looking for that love in other places. I can assure you that because I've done the same thing at some time in my life, and we all do it. Hallelujah. Just as the ball is round, just as the fish are to the water, how the sun is to the earth, how the seasons are there to follow the plan. How there's life followed by death, and how the moon revolves around the sun, I want to tell you, uh, the moon revolves around the earth. I want to tell you, Jesus' love will never leave you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He will never turn his love from you, he will never turn his love from you. Never turn away. Hallelujah. This is for someone this morning, and as I said, I have a very short word because the Bible says God is love, just to let you know. God is love. Some of you can feel the presence of God and enjoy it because that's the reason why he wants you to feel his presence is because he loves you. So someone this morning you're feeling stuck, and I've come to the end of the word, but it's important. You feel like you're not moving in any direction, you feel abandoned and lost and alone. Feels like you're in a fix, a state of state of inertia, where you just can't, nothing's moving, everything's just there. I'm gonna give you a secret ingredient from the word of God, from the kingdom of the most high. And I've taken the secret from the incident of Gadarines just as he left one man, one notorious demon possessed man in the land

The Secret Ingredient Is Love

that. One man with one seed. You've tried everything You've tried everything. You need to infuse love into that situation. I can give you the ingredient, but I can't give you something to do with it. That's on you. And this is the ingredient abide. Faith, hope, and love are these three. The greatest of these is love. Oh, hallelujah. I want to tell you the entire kingdom of God balances on love. Your life on this planet, your redemption, your salvation was an act of love. Everything else follows after that. And this passage of scripture encompasses the whole Bible, if you ask me. Because if you ask me, hope equals faith. And the this passage of scripture is calling out faith and hope. You can only hope in God, and you can only have faith in God. But yet, in all these, the greatest of these is love. I can assure you, Gadderenes would have been saved because of that one man. The Bible doesn't mention Jesus going back to Gadderines, but I'm if Jesus left that seed, that seed will grow. Hallelujah. Some of you know what I mean. And this beautiful morning, as I said, I don't know what your situation is, but maybe you need to infuse love into that situation. You've tried everything and nothing has worked. And this beautiful morning, I'm here to tell you love will work. It's the only thing that works. Go and infuse love into that situation. I don't know what it is. I don't know how you're gonna do it. And as I said, I'm not here to tell you how to do it. I'm here to give you the ingredient to the secret sauce in life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Remember, he came on this planet, he gave up his life on a cross for you and me. He was beaten, he was scourged, he was pierced. They put a crown of thorns on his head. They spat on him. They took a reed and they beat him with it. They put a cross on his back and made him carry it. And then they hung him to that cross. That's how much God loves you. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning, wherever, in whatever corner you're going for and looking for it, you will only find it in Jesus because he loves you and he came down on this planet for the ultimate act of love, and that is to give up his life on a cross for you and me. He didn't have to do it, he could have sent anyone. He could have made something just to send it down on this planet to give up for us, but he didn't. He became that sacrifice, the ultimate act of love, and that's why I tell you this beautiful morning. As I said, through the word of God, remember he has compassion on you, he loves you, he has an everlasting love for you. Love that will never change, it's unconditional. It doesn't matter what you look like, it doesn't matter what's your weight, it doesn't matter if you've put on 10 kgs or you've lost 10 kgs, it doesn't matter if you're going through something, it doesn't matter if you have friends or not, it doesn't matter if your bank account is enough, it doesn't matter if you don't have enough of friends on Instagram or followers or YouTube or whatever you want to call them this day and age. He loves you unconditionally. Hallelujah. Unconditionally, unconditional love, and he will build you this beautiful morning, just leave it at his feet and bring his love into the situation because the Bible says God is love. And I told you, I don't know what you need to do for your situation, but I am giving you the answer today. Bring love into the situation. Maybe it needs for you to just pick up the phone and say, Hey hi, how are you? And believe me, the entire situation will change. Maybe it needs you to get up and go and ring someone's doorbell or knock on their door. Maybe it's a text. Maybe it's a kick message, maybe it's a WhatsApp. I don't know what it is, but you need to infuse love because the only thing that will work is love. This beautiful morning, don't be mistaken. God is not moved, his love for you is unconditional, he will rebuild you according to his word, and he will play the tamarind for you that you may dance into the streets of life. Because he is your father and he loves you. Hallelujah. I'd like to pray.

Practical Love And Closing Prayer

Thank you for your beautiful word, Lord. Thank you for your beautiful presence that people can feel. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Some of you can feel the presence of God tremendously. Enjoy his presence. It's because he wants to reassure you that he loves you. Irrespective of what you have done, irrespective of what you are going through, irrespective of who's around you. He loves you, he has made you, he loves you. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, for watching over your word to perform it. Thank you, Lord, for what you are doing amongst your people. Thank you for showering your love upon us. Thank you, Lord, for being faithful, though. We are faithless. And thank you, Lord, for some of us that you are rebuilding, that you will build us. And you will go ahead and make every crooked path straight straight, as your word says. Thank you that you rejoice over us with singing. Thank you for the tambourines that are playing. For us to walk into the streets and dance and rejoice. For you are our Father. Thank you, Lord, for the love that you've showered upon us. Thank you for being obedient to death and death on a cross because you love us. Thank you for taking up a curse for us. Thank you, Jesus, for your beautiful presence that people can feel. Thank you for your everlasting love that is unconditional upon us. Thank you for changing hearts. Some of you can feel a tremendous presence of God. Enjoy his presence because he's here to tell you that he loves you. Hallelujah. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
