I Am The Way

There are seasons in life when the road ahead feels uncertain.

Mercies New Every Morning

Today, before I get into the word, I want to remind you of a beautiful passage of scripture that I came across in the week, and something that you and I should always know and remember. It comes from the book of Lamentations, the third chapter, and it says, Through the Lord's mercies, we are not consumed because his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness, O Lord. Hallelujah. What a beautiful passage of scripture, and that means that each day God's compassions on us. That means He has certain blessings that come towards us and our way every morning. It says every morning. They are new every morning. Hallelujah. And because of his mercies, the Bible says we are not consumed. Hallelujah. Beautiful passage of scripture.

When Jesus Healed The Crowds

And today I want to get uh, you know, I want to take you back in time when Jesus is on this planet and he's performing signs, miracles, and wonders, and he's, you know, the lame are walking, the blind are getting their sight back, the paralyzed are picking up their mats and getting up and walking. The lepers are being healed, the oppressed are being freed from demons. All kinds of sickness, uh sicknesses. The Bible says Jesus was healing. He was multiplying bread and fish and feeding multitudes. And now everyone knows who Jesus is, and his name, his popularity is spreading to all regions, and he's constantly followed by crowds and sought after by people. The Bible says that when he was walking through marketplaces, they would put the sick on the ground next to him, that they may be healed. They begged that they may touch him, that they may be healed. Hallelujah. What a time! And there's a time when he's speaking to his disciples and he's telling them about things that are about to happen, about things that are um route, things that are about to come. And this is for you and me today, and for anyone who's listening to this word.

I Am The Way

I'm going straight into it from the book of John, the 14th chapter, the first verse onwards. John 14, the first verse onwards, it goes on to say, Let not your heart be troubled. And I believe this is for someone in particular: let not your heart be troubled. The creator of heaven and earth is telling you this morning, let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house, there are many mansions. If it if it were not so, I would have told you. And I go to prepare a place for you. Hallelujah. And I'm gonna go on and read further because I want to get to the crux of it. And you know, I always say, you know, get to uh you know these scriptures in your own time, have your own time of meditation with the Lord. So you should mark this down, John 14. I'm reading from verse 1 onwards, and I'm going further. It says, If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself. Hallelujah. That where I am, that you may also be. And where I go, you know, and the way you know. And then this is the time when one of his disciples gets up, his name is Thomas. He gets up and he says, Lord, we do not know where you are going, and how can we know the way? And Jesus says to him, and this is the crux of it today, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So Jesus is telling his disciples that he's going. First of all, he tells them, Don't be troubled. And as I said, it's for someone this morning, don't be troubled. You believe in God, believe in me, he says. Because in my father's house there are many mansions, and I go to prepare a place for you. Understand one thing, Jesus is telling you and me this morning that he's going to prepare a place for you. And then he says, I will come back to take you, hallelujah, receive you to myself. I will come back again, he says, That where I am, you may be also. Hallelujah. And the way you know, he says, Where I go, you know. And you know, um uh maybe Thomas was the only one who had a doubt as all the other disciples did, but was the only one to probably voice it. And he says, Lord, I don't know where you're going. And how can we know the way? And he says, Jesus gives him the ultimate answer: I am the way, the truth, and the life. And no one comes to the Father except through me. Hallelujah. I want to tell you this morning, Jesus does not direct you to another place, he does not direct you to another path, he does not direct you to a place of worship, he does not direct you to another name, a top of a mountain, a way of life. No, he says, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can come to the Father except through me. Hallelujah. Jesus did not leave us with any doubt in our minds. He tells us very clearly, he's telling you and me this morning, he's telling you that he is the way, he is the only way. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. And then it's you know, the the topic just goes into something else after that. But

The Word Was God

I want to tell you this morning, do you know what the Bible says about Jesus even before he came down to this planet? Some of you know the scripture by heart, some of you don't, but I want to join these dots for you. So Jesus is coming, he's come on the planet, and I told you there's every place knows about him in the place that he's at, any place that he's traveling from, people know about him. And he's got these 12 disciples with him, and he tells them, I am the way, the truth, and the life. I'm making a place for you, and I will come and take you because where I am, you will be. Amen. Hallelujah. And let me tell you what the Bible says about Jesus before he came to this planet from John 1:1. It says in the beginning was the word. The word was with God, and the word was God. Hallelujah. As I said, some of you know the scripture, and it's crystal clear. He was in the beginning with God, and all things were made through him, and without him nothing was made. That's it. He was in the beginning, he was the word, he was with God, and all things were made through him, and without him, nothing was made that was made. That's it. It's just this beautiful scripture calls it out so clearly that there is nothing on this planet that has not been made through Jesus before the earth was formed. Before, and if you read creation, if you go back to Genesis and you read creation, you'll be like, okay, he was there when all of this happened because that's what the Bible says. And the Bible says that everything was made through him, everything you know was made through him. Everything the Bible says, and as I said, the Bible is so beautiful and so crisp with its words that not a single thing is missed. And it's telling you and me this morning that he was there in the beginning, he was with God, and everything was made through him, and then it goes on to say from 1 14, John 1 14, and that word who was there in the beginning became flesh and dwelt amongst us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Hallelujah. You see, that's the beautiful part. The creator comes down to his creation, and I told you, he walked around, he healed every possible sickness on the planet, and that was God, the Son, in his beautiful glory, full of grace and truth, with signs, miracles, and wonders, to show the world who he is, how are the way to convince the world, besides with his actions and with his words. But

Rejected Savior And Empty Tomb

here's the sad part. In 111 it says, He came to his own, and his own did not receive him. The creator comes to his creation out of all the love he has for his creation, and the creation did not accept him. It's a sad, it's a sad part. It's a sad story from this beautiful passage of scripture, from the one who was there from the beginning, who made you and me, who made the planet, the sun, moon, stars in the sky, the seas, the beasts, the animals, the insects, the mysteries of the sea. And then no one accepts him when he comes here. And the people find a way to plot and plan and cook up various stories to trap Jesus and say, How can he be so blasphemous? How can he call himself the Son of God? What kind of lies are these? And they take him to authorities. I want to tell you this beautiful morning. Just in case you didn't know this, Jesus tells his disciples about the next phase too. And I'm going to share it with you this beautiful morning from the book of Luke, the 22nd chapter, the 69th and 70th verse. While all of this is going on, and his disciples who are with him all the time, it has yet not been revealed to them what's going to happen. But Jesus does tell them about the next phase. From Luke 22, 69 onwards, it says, But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God. Hallelujah. And then they all said, Are you then the Son of God? And he said to them, You rightly say that I am. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So Jesus tells his disciples, and hereafter, the Son of Man will go and sit at the right hand of the power of God. And then they turn around and ask him, Does that mean that you're the Son of God? And he said, You rightly say that I am. Hallelujah. I should have a very short word this morning, but I want to tell you that Jesus gave all possible signs when he was here. He worked in love. He came to his people. He was there in the beginning. He came back. And no one accepted him. And he took those twelve because he knew these are the ones who I know will help my kingdom. And he starts telling them about these things that they may spread it. That I am the way, the only way, the truth and the life. I make a place for you. I come, I will come back to take you. Hallelujah. And I will be at the right hand of the power of God. I am his son. Hallelujah. Some of you can feel the presence of Jesus, and I want to tell you, and they condemn him for his words. They condemn him for coming and telling the truth. And they demand for the authorities to do something about it. He heals, delivers them. He brings their dead to life. So you see, Jesus has has done everything. He's followed up his words with his actions. And the Bible says that they took away his clothes. They beat him and they flogged him, the Bible says. They put a crown of thorns on his head and they pierced it into his scalp. And they spat on him. And they nailed him to a cross and hung him to die. How ridiculous. But hey, it happened. But you know, I'm not here to give you bad news, I'm actually here to give you good news. It was not over, it did not end there. It was all part of Jesus' plan to come on this planet. It was all part of that ultimate plan where he will be raised on the third day. The tomb where he lay was empty. And as I said, he always, always delivers his word. And as he told his disciples today, he's seated at the right hand of the power of God. Hallelujah. I told you, I'm not here to give you the bad news. Yes, it's it's how it panned out. And yes, it was not a beautiful story at the time. And yes, as I said, it was all part of a plan. Because he said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am the only way, the truth, and the life. There is no one else who can make that statement. There is no one else who can make that statement. And he was hung on a cross for calling out the truth. And I want to tell you that even after he, you know, his followers went to the tomb and they found it empty, and what a beautiful situation that is, but that's not for now. He even meets his disciples after being resurrected on three occasions. Because he told them I'll be alive on the third day, I will raise I'll be raised from the dead. This temple, hallelujah, will not will be destroyed and rebuilt in three days. Hallelujah. Some of you can feel the presence of Jesus. Today

Put Your Trust In Jesus

I want to give you a little secret. I told you I have good news, and I want to give you a secret. Put your trust in Jesus because that's what he came on this planet to do. The name that's above all names, where every knee will bow on the earth, above the earth, and below the earth. Put your trust in Jesus, the Alpha and the Omega. Put your trust in Jesus, the only one who could say, I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only one, the only one who has overcome death. Hallelujah. And for those, for those of you who have believed in his name, for those of you who have trusted in him throughout your journey on this planet, no matter what your age, for those of you who have put your faith completely in Jesus, for those of you who know in your system, in your heart, in your mind, soul, call it what you want, that He is the way, the truth, and the life. I want to tell you this and understand it. For those of you who have endured this life and the things that have come your way, just as He has endured the cross for you and me. If you have endured these things for him, that is a prophecy for you this beautiful morning. Hallelujah. It comes directly from Jesus. And I want to tell you this morning, I'm joining the dots for you yet again. In the beginning, he was there, came down on this planet many years after that, and everything was made that was made through him and him alone. And he comes down to tell the people that he is the way, the truth, and the life. There is no one else but him. And he comes and he makes a place for us in heaven, and he will come to take us. The only way, the truth, and the life. And the one who's seated at the right hand of God, and this comes right now, as is from the throne. Hallelujah.

I Make All Things New

From the book of Revelations, the 21st chapter. The fifth verse onwards. Hallelujah. And then he who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. Amen. And he said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. And then he said, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give of the fountain of water of life freely to Himuthus. He who overcomes shall inherit all things. And I will be his God. And he will be my son, daughter, child. Hallelujah. Some of you can feel the presence of God, some of you can feel the presence of Jesus. And I want to tell you this beautiful morning. I will not add or subtract to this passage of scripture, which is in the most powerful book on the planet. From the book of Revelations. But I will only say Amen and hallelujah to this prophecy for you and me who have endured the name who have endured his love, who have endured through the storms of life. Because let me tell you, no matter what you're going through today, there is no one who's putting you onto a cross. There is no one who's taking nails and beating it into your hands and your legs. There is no one who's spitting on you. There's no one who's beating you. There's no one who's putting a crown of thorns on your head and squeezing it into your head. There is no one who's tearing apart your clothes and mocking you. And flogging you and beating you. But yet, no matter what we have endured on this planet, for that your creator, your your master, your father has said, the same one who said, I am seated at the right hand of power, is telling you any me this morning, when he called it out many years before, many years before, he's calling it out today. While he's seated at the throne of power, he says, Yet again I read it, I make all things new. And write these words, write it down, write down this date is what it means. For they are faithful and true, his beautiful words, and it is already done because he's making the beginning and the end, the way, the truth, and the life. And he will give you freely from the fountain the water of life. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be he and she shall be my child. Hallelujah.

Prayer Of Thanks And Praise

I'd like to pray. Dear Lord, I thank you for your double-edged sword. I thank you for your word that does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for. I thank you for your beautiful prophecy that you have chosen to release amongst your people this beautiful day. I thank you, Lord, that you were faithful to death, death on the cross. Only for us I give you glory and honor. Now on the third day, you rose. The tomb was empty. Thank you, Jesus, for knowing us by our names. I thank you for being a shepherd. The sheep know you by name and they know your voice. I thank you for calling out to us this beautiful morning yet again to remind us what you have done for us. I thank you and I give you glory that you are seated at the right hand of power. Thank you for your beautiful blessing where you make all things new. The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the only way, the truth, and the life. Thank you that you have us engraved on the palms of your hands. I thank you that you are faithful to death on a cross for us. Thank you, Lord. Your mercies are new every morning, because of which we are not consumed by the plans of the wicked. Thank you, Jesus, for your beautiful presence. Thank you for your beautiful word. Thank you for your love. Thank you for being faithful to us always.

Turn Back He Runs Toward You
